Wow, aparently Jack is second to Ashley among female players who played a male shep according to this poll.

All the dudes are massively in the Liara and Tali camp....I expected more Miranda.

Thanks Az - voted and was going to crosspost this myself, but you saved me a job. It will be interesting to see who made the most impact with the girl-gamers. I see the boys are running away with the usual suspects

See, just part of the reason I love this thread. Any other one would have had five pages going, "Hooray, we hit 100 pages! Whoo, whoo, go us!" With us it's just, "Oh, right, 100 pages. That's cool. Anyway, back to talking about Jack..."

And lo, we did hit a hundred pages. And it was good. And there was wine. And people danced. And people laughed...

Sorry, I have a terrible habit of channelling Hemingway. And it's nice to see Jack is doing reasonably well in the poll.

I'm not quite sure one who would spend money on video game merchandise is necessarily interested in whether or not the item will go with the rest of the room's decor. In fact, usually the room's decor revolves around the nerdy item(s) in question.

Ah, but there are many of us who make sure the science fiction decor stays away from the fantasy/sword and sorcery decor.  Sometimes the lightsabers do not match well on the wall with Glamdring.

But if your looking at the traditional decor from something like better homes and gardening, then your right.

I have been able to get my katana and anime stuff to look nice in my aisan inspired living room, though it did take a ton of work.

It's currently in between a picture of Mariano throwing the final pitch at Yankee Stadium and another picture of Robinson Cano. Aside from my computer desk, you'd have no idea I like video games

Jack is the best, and with a simple black frame it actually just looks really, really good.

It was sort of celebrated a page back in another brilliant "Mondo-ism":D  And I say that with the greatest amount of respect Mondo.

I have my Jack lithograph in a black frame, too.   Looks good, man.

As a fellow Jackolyte, I went ahead and threw in my vote for the tattooed lady. What I found interesting when looking at the results page for that poll is that, of all the romances, Jack is the only one where the number of male and female players that liked her are practically the same. In fact, last I checked, Jack is leading the female player vote for best maleShep LI.

I wanted Tali to be the voice of reason (and a closet pervert), so I thought that would be a bridge too far. And, if I'm honest, I'd forgotten all about that monstrosity. Anyone who has read the Preacher series will be familiar with sick love dolls, so I always find things like that awful and strangely amusing at the same time.

As far as I recall now too, that thing was made as a gag, so there's no twisted love story behind it :D

Agh you need to ignore the Tali votes, they don't count.  I find it more interesting that Jack is only 6 votes behind Liara when you combine both male and female votes.  However, as Mondo said, is also interesting that jack fans are almost split 50/50.

Cast my vote too, and can I just say that I'm even more terrified of the Tali thread now that I know the vast, vast majority of people posting on it are dudes?  I guess Tali fanboys are the male equivalent of Team Edward.
