Have you guys ever thought of starting a group on the forums for in-game but off-topic discussions for Jackolytes who don't wish to throw this thread off of Jack? I'm not dissing anyone here I just sort of came into the idea reading the last few posts. Hell you can call the group "Subject Zero" it would be sort of fitting. :)

You mean like this group?

Oops, yep like that one.

So I just finished listening to that compilation of Jack files that was posted earlier. Does anyone know where all those sound files on the Red Sand were? Jack has a few that look like they link and I don't remember it being a investigation topic while your doing Samara's quest.

This moment was the turning point for me. She was very slowly winning me over up until then, like when she thanks you for letting her look at the cerberus files and when you agree to take her to the Teltin facility and of course when she shows signs of vulnerability and fear during her loyalty mission. But when I first saw her with that look on her face that is a mix of vulnerability, sadness, and fear, I knew there was so much more to this girl and I gained this huge desire to help her and show her that there are genuinely nice people out there.

I love when you talk to her and she says "No one ever asked me about this stuff before. So **** you. And thanks for asking." Sooo Jack. Posted Image

It's when you find Pitne For's shipping manifest that shows he was smuggling red sand.

I remember her saying something about it but not explaining what it does.

Guess I'll have to play through the game again ;):D

You know, it's funny... I remember reaching that conversation in my perusal through the audio files, and *I* didn't remember it either.  And there's a line from Shepard in there about, "We've been running into a lot of Red Sand addicts lately" kinda threw me off, too, like "Uh... we have?".  I could swear that at least one of my playthroughs, I took Jack with me pretty much all the time, and I don't remember hearing that conversation.

I'm not somebody who plays thoroughly through the game, though, so I have to resist the urge to constantly be going, "OMG, cut content!  Cut content!" every time I hear a line I don't recognize.  (For example, I'm PRETTY sure I heard the paragon version of the Conrad quest that is bugged out, but I'm not really sure)  But yeah... I'm kinda waiting for my next playthrough until Kasumi, do her and the Hammerhead all in one playthrough, but I'll have to remember to look for that next time.

Argh, I'll just have to keep an eye out for possible mods that remove that visor, til then I won't use it.

I hope her eyes (and Thane's) are still "animated" even if they're hidden behind the glasses. It would be a shame if someone managed to make the shades invisible BUT the eyes animation is not working. But why changing the eye animation btw??

They should be, because they are all given the same animation for a given action. It takes a lot more work to undo the animation than to cover it up with a helmet or something.

The more I play, the more I don't mind the visor. If you don't want people knowing what you're thinking, you obscure your eyes. It's a horrible design/fashion choice, or the cherry on the defense mechanism sundae. I paid two bucks for this, so I shall delude myself with the latter.

Can't save Thane, though. I must fight every impulse in my body to scream "BECAUSE IT'S THRILLLEEEERRRRRRR!" after every line he says in that new get-up of his.

I do too. And the more I have it there, the more it's Thane's song.

No one's gonna save Nassana Dantius from the beast about to strike. BECAUSE IT'S THRILLLEEEEERRRRRR!

Alright, that's enough of that.

Well, we guessed it, we hoped against hope that it wouldn't be, and I'm sure even a few of us already know... that new outfit just doesn't quite work with the romance scene.

Edit: Also, the "stretch marks" under her arms in that 3rd picture... I've never noticed those with the other outfits. Has that always happened?

Damn, that's one awkward-looking scene.

There are a lot of character-model bugs that occur with certain outfits. For example, Shepard's fingernails disappear when he wears the black-and-white captain's clothes.

I love the clothes but the shades look like something you would get in a happy meal!

Well, I guess that means that the outfit is a no-go if you want to see her emote again. Like, ever. Still, it's good for running around kicking ass. If she had a fluffy mohawk and a gauntlet that shot spikes out of it the outfit would be perfect  (if you're old enough to have seen Future Kill at least). Otherwise... it's a C-. Garrus gets a B+ for his outfit. Thane gets an D- just for the shades, the rest is just too 80's pimp to take seriously... between that and the Thriller references, it's doomed.

A part of me is hoping Miranda gets transparent eyewear... ordinary glasses. A Baroness vibe might convince me to... I don't know... talk to her occasionally? :D

Less the appearance for me and more the emotional side, such a complex character, cant wait to proper crack open the hard ass exterior.

If they went the Sexy Librarian route with Miranda, I'd actually like her less. The Sexy Librarian is a beautiful, sacrosanct thing. Don't apply it to Miranda.

But I'll backpedal a little bit on the visor. Whereas I once was vociferously against it, it makes sense in a certain context. I'll give Jack a B-, Garrus an A- and Thane a D-, known elsewhere as "The Gentleman's F."

Quick question though. How the hell does her "bra" stay on? You'd think she'd have nip slips left and right.

There are probably some back stage moments, of camera jack just tugging at those things lol

Much as we don't really like Miri, the saucy smart girl is something all women should have access to. Put your hair up, your glasses on, and just watch everyone sweat. Hell, I go for it! It might even convince me to listen to what she says outside of Bobby's Jack&Miri behind closed doors sketch. Besides, once you give a girl with glasses a gun it becomes The deCobray Effect - little different to Sexy Librarian Mode ;)
