Ahh well as much as I like Bioware I'm not going to participate.  It really isn't fair to all those who are left out so I'm not going to take advantage of it.  If it was announced that Europe, Canada, New York and Florida had their own special events at the same time I would consider it but as they are being left out......legalities notwithstanding.

Yeah. I know a lot of people are annoyed by the whole "Only 48 states in the US" thing, but really, I can understand the problem of having to make a contest that deals with twenty different sets of laws and regulations, it's difficult.  As some have said, maybe if they'd made clear when the countdown started that it was "big news for US residents only," people might have felt less gypped.

MY problem with the whole thing is that it basically turns BioWare fans into those annoying people who play those online games like Mafia Wars and those other ones where you have to go beg your friends to click your link in order to get more online currency or whatever.  They've essentially turned us into another wing of their marketing department, spamming people who follow us on Twitter with BioWare-related tweets, and then making people click on our link to get more auction points.

No thanks to that.  If I like a BioWare game, I'll TELL people I like it if they ask.  I'm not going to spend my time pleading to everybody I know to please click my link every day, so I can get me an N7 hoodie!

Hoooo nelly.  That was...special.  I like Tali enough that I was simultaneously cringing and laughing all through the second half of the clip.  Awesomely disturbing.  Bravo to you.
BTW, I'll side with Mondo on this one.  Post it in Talimancer territory.    I like the character, but the fans?  Fair game in my opinion.

As for the Bazaar, I was pretty underwhelmed myself.  I'm not going in for the whole clicky-link-begging thing, but I think I'll take the tokens I DO have and go after that Jack Litho....

  You know, if BioWare really wanted to be evil, they'd make it so that the ending you get in ME3 is contingent upon the number of referrals you've gotten through this BioWare Bazaar thing. Perhaps your LI perishes unless you accumulate at least ten thousand tokens or so. Or perhaps, if you manage to reach 100,000 tokens, you encounter the mysterious dark-haired NPC Nagirrom, who offers to ensure your survival  - but only if you allow him to impregnate you.

Haha. It'll probably get lost in all the posts of people saying they're leaving for work or going to bed. But I think we'll know they've listend to it when this thread gets flooded with angry Tali fans . I haven't listened to it myself but apparently it makes Tali make Jack look like a nun.

As for Bobby's link, I think he was right... it looks to have been lost to the nether. Also, on a slightly funny note, one of the "upper echelon" Talimancers apparently threatened to report him for posting what he considered "perversion". Oh irony... sweet, sweet irony.

I'd call it highlighting that a fanbase has got too fanatical if they can't take a joke about the subject. Fanatics are no fun at all. Besides, the Tali fan moves too fast for there to be anything meaningful in there.

Bah, all things end in Tali. I dislike it. Back to the good stuff!

Not surprising.  I really should have posted it as, "ZOMG, Chapter 20 of the umpteenth interminable fanfic about Tali's special relationship with Shepard, please read it right now and gush all over it, no matter how terrible it is!"

And yeah, considering some of the stuff that I've seen posted on that thread... I'm practically a Boy Scout.  After all, everything in my sound collage is straight out of the game.  Unless they find my over-the-top zipper sound vulgar, and I can see where they might get that.
