No, it's not just you. After playing ME2 I sincerely wonder how I managed to play ME1 as many times as I did. It's scary how much of that twenty hours you spend doing absolutely NOTHING playing that game.
I still can't believe how many times I played through that game getting ready for ME2. And how many times I did all those damn collection quests, not knowing they were going to have absolutely no effect on the next game anyway. Not to mention Pinnacle Station. Grr.
At least I had the slomo console cheat to make things a little less annoying, but still... I'm not sure I'll ever be able to crack open ME1 again, especially since I've got more than enough save games to import, and masseffectsaves.com for any other ones I might need.

Oh wait... Jack!! Needs Jack!!! lol.
But in all seriousness I feel that when I replay ME1 and import a character to ME2 right after completion I have a good connection with my newest character.

Heh. I could just imagine Jack being around when Udina sells out Shepard, now that would have been good. There'd be one less diplomat on the Citadel, I think.
Man, another reason why Jack has to be back and in the squad for ME3: I've got to see her reactions when somebody tries to screw with Shepard. I've always said that I imagine she'll have mellowed out a bit by the time of 3, but if somebody ties to pull something on the guy who's done so much to help her... it's gonna be a sight to see.

With Ashley in ME1, she tells you a long-ass story about the time her sister beat the crap out of a pushy boyfriend.
If she were introduced in ME2, we'd have met the boyfriend and beaten the crap out of him ourselves. This is an approach I hope they keep come ME3. They come off as people instead of dialogue dispensers.
Oh, and someone devoted a thread to your Grunt recording, Bobby.

Shepard: "Nobody stabs me in the Back Udina! Nobody!"
Jack: (Pulls out pocket knife and stabs Udina in the back) "NOBODY!!"
That would be hysterical.
And yeah, I can't wait to see Cerberus try and screw with Shepard. Not only will they have retaliation from Shepard but Jack will probably go berserk.

I hope and fully expect her to have that edge that certain 'rattlesnake' like characteristic. That 'Don't tread on me' attitude. But I also expect her to have a more mellow side with Shepard and some of the crew ecspecially if you romanced her as Shepard, I imagine she'll be side by side with Shepard till the end.

Freer of slaves, killer of slavers. Kind to her allies, cruel to pretty much everyone else.

I great companion. I hope that we can see her in ME3 taking her role more further and become something great.
P.s: Dont you people think that Sheperd kinda manipulated the brain of Jacks with the "loneliness" she had, cuzz when she heard that she runs crying to the arms of sheperd and give her self. :/ kinda disturbing. Is that love?

I wouldn't say Shepard manipulated her. If Shepard just wanted to manipulate or use her he wouldn't of put as much time and effort as he did to really find the real Jack underneath all that trauma and years and years of emotional scars. Shepard is the first person to truly care for Jack, and it makes her feel like a person and not just a tool like everyone else used her for. Thats my opinion.lee.siha wrote...
Well for me Jacks is a interesting woman. But she reminds me of someone in the real life. A women that hides her feeling because she does not want to get hurt. a "strong" woman:)

I wanted to replay it for a completely selfish reason... I hate the name I chose for my Shepard. I built a Vanguard to go though ME1 with and I cant even get off Eden Prime because I now how boring some spots get in the future.
I also wanted to do a run where I romanced Liara just to see what happens...I'll have to bite the bullet and do it eventually...maybe after ME 3 comes out.

He likes her. She likes him. She has issues. He wants to help. It may not be love, not yet anyway. But it's a start. Which is why we're so hellbent on her coming back. We want to see who Jack is, and not the person she feels compelled to be to be safe.
As for Jackal904, well, everyone in ME1 told me who they were. Everyone in ME2 showed me who they were. I like conversation as much as the next fella, don't get me wrong, but I'd rather see them in action than get their word for it. To each their own, I guess, but I liked the ME2 approach much, much better.

I like how it is in ME2, I just want more dialogue basically. I would like either longer conversations or more conversations with moderate length, or both

For the most part same here, probably why personally I always loved unlocking new codex entries. Wish the VA for the codex did the secondary entries as well, he's got just the right voice for that kinda thing.

Anyway I've noticed that ever since playing ME 2 I'm having a bit of trouble getting into ME 1 again. I was wondering if anyone else is haveing the same problem.
Or is it just me.
You're not alone on this.
I tried to play it a day or two ago and turned it off after about twenty minutes. It just felt so clumsy and outdated. However, I've only ever played it once anyway (five days before I bought ME2 to "get some background"), and didn't care for it anyway.
