Meh, I'm not the guy that will start it. Only because I love every ME/2 character.

*kough* most of them, anyway *kough*

I love them all too. Just not enough that I can't laugh if I get them killed in the game.

The only character I *really* want to see dead is the asari consort. Yes, that evil asari who had FANSERVICE written on her face. The others are okay ;-)

I finally started listening through Jack's sound files. The one were she dies leading the fireteam after the romance is.. Ooh.. Wow. Courtenay Taylor had a special spot with me since I played Kotor, but these lines that I've never seen are absolutely fantastic. Chaos Approves +10 ^_^

Oh... her. Little Miss I-Have-No-Sense-Of-Personal-Space. Ugh, I cringe everytime she moves in for the stroke! Ack, now you've made my skin crawl! :P I don't actually want anyone to die, even her. I just find humour in it if I decide to put myself on a path that will end with them dieing.

I've got to admit, I always ignored her... did her quest chain, thought nothing of it. All her pawing at me, well, she is an Asari. It's how they say 'hello' isn't it? Never thought there was anything evil about her, she was just too bland to apply that label to.

Though on the other hand, my John-Shaft-mode Shepard knocked boots with her. I never knew such things were possible! Laughed my ass off :D

mondo? I think we can all agree it is time for you to post your Tali motivational in the designated thread:) You know which one^^

Only at the right time and place, comrade. I'm waiting for an excuse... biding my time until someone takes a hard enough pop at Jack... then I think a nuclear response is in order . Needs to come from that camp though or it loses some of its burn.

I've made a slightly more precise version, too... tac-nuke as opposed to a tzar-bomba ;)

That kind of scares me.Posted Image

You know me, though... I'm nice. I don't go all ballistic. I don't pick fights, either. Moms just know how to stop them dead at the naughty step. We don't go poking at folk to get a reaction. Nonononono. Not our way. Spats in forums are not my style.

I made that original one as a bit of a joke based on the completely disproportionate and staggeringly-childish response Bobby got to his audio-edit from I think about three people in the Tali thread. Most of them there are nice folk, who know a joke when they see/hear one, and don't go reaching for the flamethrowers and facitis-grenades because someone has a little comic sport with a fictional alien. A tiny, frankly bizarre percentage do, and really, their actions are more embarassing than rising to them; leave them to flail in public and be thankful you're not as silly-looking. It's why I don't bubble up like the kraken every time someone takes a swipe at Jack; every mommy knows the speech about how doing it back just drags you down to their level. So that pic, it was a dig on my part, no more, no less. I'm only using MAD as a metaphore here (I grew up in the 80's so I knew all about it - it's why I'm a peacenik... no child of mine should be doing nuclear air raid drills at school - if you're too young to know what MAD means, look it up), I'm no more sitting on the button than anyone else here is. Flamewars are for overdramatic teenagers, plain and simple. Who probably read the Twilight novels and think real vampires twinkle ;)

Besides, if you want to gawk at things on fire through motivationals, look at what that bit of Tali 'fanart' has spawned over there ^_^

So...what's this picture?

-edit. Speaking of pictures and unusual forum sensitivities, I posted the below screenshot a while ago in the 'Miranda' thread. I commented that it was "pretty over the top", but amusing nonetheless (at least I thought so when I captured it while playing). The reaction was that the picture was "insulting" and that it shouldn't be acknowledged, lol.

Sir Mix-A-Lot is in da house. Word.

And if you're wondering about the picture in question - it's kinda my fault it ended up at the top of another page to keep, well, raising eyebrows :D

I don't think the internet is ready for that sort of depravity.

... Just eyebrows? :P Ah, things like this make me glad Jack's fanbase is smaller than some. I won't judge such fanart, but it does absolutely nothing for me. If Jack ended up getting anything along these lines..

.. Unpleasant mental image.

It's already there if you look for it... I was looking for one of those blatantly-elvish bits of Tali fanart and found a technically-fantastic-but-emotionally-distressing bit of art of her getting nailed by Garrus. You just need to turn over stones...

I think the guy in my avatar sums it up...although, to be fair, I laughed out loud at that.

I was looking for an image of Carth from Kotor not long ago. One of the first images was him naked, shouting "Down you go!" (one of his combat shouts).. I was slightly disturbed after I finished giggling. I have long since given up trying to understand these things.

Hopefully the mods will realise that only a minority of folk are taking it too far - slapping them down makes more sense than locking off a fun thread. Some folk don't know where to end a joke and more on, alas.

I hope they don't. Some really great stuff in there, and I'd hate to see it get locked because afew people are overly sensitive. Pfeh.

Yeah, it is really odd that some of these absolutely amazing artists out in interwebland spend so much of their time and talent drawing anthropomorphic zerbras getting screwed silly by anthropomorphic rabbits... it's a little like finding that fruit tree in the backyard holds the cure for cancer, and doing nothing with it but making a few jars of jam for the family every autumn.

I can't really be bothered sifting through the Garrus thread to look for it.
But I'm sure if you ask them politely they'd be happy to share it with you.

Throw another one in the 'creepy Tali fan art' pile... I feel bad for all the Tali fans who aren't sick bastards. They are getting a bad rep.
