JACK: (by accident, Miranda holding barrier)

If there was one way I would not want to see Jack die, it's that way. Those swarm things freak me out and to be taken a way by a bunch of them I think is the worst way to go. They carry the person off somewhere and who knows what the hell happens to them.

The little buggers bring Miranda back though!

SHEPARD... THIS ONE WE HAVE TAKEN... WILL YOU... WILL YOU TAKE HER BACK? SHE REFUSES TO STOP WHINING ABOUT HER GENETIC ADAPTION AND PARENTAL WOES. PLEASE? WE PROMISE TO LEAVE YOUR COLONIES ALONE... WE WILL BE YOUR BEST FRIEND FOREVER...

And you can't put her in the vents, even though she has more tech skills than Thane and Jacob.

That one has much plot armour. So I made sure to get her crushed on mine. Mwahaha!

The swarms can pick up Miranda? I thought they'd just automatically grab the other squadmate. Only squadmate I ever lost was Jack because I took Miri's side in the fight once.

It was... Horrible.  Not as bad as the console blast that bloodies up her face.  Her eyes rolling into the back of her head?  Terrible.  Thank God I've only seen it on youtube.

Just was taking a few more screenies on a save where I'd forgotten I'd got Jack's Alt-Outfit loaded up... funny how the addition of the visor just makes her look a lot more hostile. Ok, there's that one shot again, but this time it actually doesn't look like they're about to lock lips and tell Shepard to GTFO :D

When Jack covers her eyes, it's like I'm looking at a completely different person.

If she would take of the glasses, lasers would fire out of her eyes, completely incinerating Miranda.

That's what I thought though Posted Image

I actually think covering the sheer Miri hate in her eyes makes it look more like they're about to make out in the top pic. Granted, you could say it was passion, knowing Jack it could be a lot of both.

If Miranda somehow got Jack killed, like if I really believed her that any biotic could hold the bubble, so I choose her, and because of her Jack gets taken away by the swarms. Oh man I would kill her off in all of my playthroughs. And when she's flattened under the debris at the end I would say, "In theory, go **** yourself." Posted Image

Is Jack a tarantula or boa constrictor kind of gal?  (No sex jokes ^_^)

To be fair, my main female Shepard does have four casualties at the end (Kasumi, Garrus, Jacob, Samara). But this isn't because I hate the characters. I love all four of 'em. I want to see how ME3 will be different with the four of them gone. I want to see if I get a crappier ending because one of them might be important to the plot. And I want that wistful feeling that they're not there anymore.

Now if someone used that justification to bump off Jack, I'd be... Ambivalent. I wouldn't necessarily approve, but their favorite characters may not be mine. But it's better than bumping them off just because I don't like them. I'd never do that... Except with Miranda... That one time...

I just don't have the heart to kill anyone off, not even in my renegade playthrough. I don't know, call me a softie.

Now I'm curious. I'm not even sure how I could make a sex joke from that question. :innocent: And Boa constrictor. It's more of a brute force sort of animal.

Speaking of losing Jack, has anyone lost Jack while doing the romance? Or any other character for that matter? I was just wondering if there was any difference in the game.

On my first playtrough i already romanced Jack, but lost her to the swarms...bad leadership decicions from my part^^

That time, I also lost Zaeed, Samara, and Mordin. After a Restart Mission I started to use my brains and since than I never have lost anyone else.

I lost her once after romancing her. When she dies as fireteam leader she says something about beeing to happy with Shepard.

Snakes can be really loving animals too (well, for reptiles anyways... they're not exactly the sharpest tools in the shed). And they're warm and snuggly. Spiders are just... spiders of various sizes.

Warm, loving, and snuggly, with an outside chance that it will kill you if you're not careful. Yep, that's a perfect fit for Jack.

Yeah... I'm super-protective of her enough as it is... silly cow always has me leaping over cover to get the attention of bad guys when she goes running off to try and drop scions with her shotgun. 10/10 for effort, but damn girl! ;)

Ya they really need to work on the squadmate AI in ME3. I don't want to have to tell my squadmates exactly where to go just so they don't get dumped on. And they need to do something about squadmates with shotguns because they are not intelligent enough to survive getting close enough for their shotgun to be effective. They need really high shields/barriers or something. Plus they need to shoot more often and do more bullet damage because a squadmates usefulness is based almost entirely on their skills because their weapon damage is insignificant unless they use a sniper rifle.

The swarm takes Miranda, but she reappears like :wizard: later and your other party member disappears (it was Grunt in the video I watched).

In having been happy with Shepard, and in dying on the suicide mission, she tells us that she thinks that her death was inevitable, as the natural order of things can't stand to see her being cut a break.  Such a depressing view.

It's a good thing my Shepard got her through without a scratch.

We rambled on about this way back before release of Stolen Memory, but I really wish that you could have taken another squad member along... there would have been some chances there for some really funny dialogue, particularly if you took along a character you were developing a relationship with as your "date." Jacob, Garrus or Thane posing as your second in command and Miranda, Tali or Jack as your wife (and vice-versa for opposite-gender Sheps). Using those characters would be a great way of deepening a potential/developing romance with a little humour and potential sexual tension (you could lock out the other characters as being unsuitable - Grunt being too Krogan, Legion being too Geth, Mordin being potentially recognisable, as Samara or Zaeed may be, etc).

Maybe it's just me, but the idea of Jack in an evening dress desperately trying to reign in her desire to bust everyone in the chops would be hysterical... the potential for a scene at the door if Hock had reservations about letting your partner in with you... :D

Kasumi:  Alright, you two are in.  Now, here's the plan.  We need to find the power to the electric grid, get enough of a voice sample to get past the audio locks, and get some DNA for the...

Jack: *puts a gun in Hock's face* OPEN THE ****ING VAULT, HOCK!

Kasumi: ...or we could do that.

Shepard: Where did you even hide that thing in that dress?

Yeah, that would be fun, if taking the wrong person with you had the potential for creating a total cluster**** you had to blast your way through.

Haha just picturing that cracks me up. That would be so funny. They need a mission like that in future DLC or in ME3 where you're undercover at a really formal dinner party again, but this time you have to bring a date. Oh man. That with Jack would be priceless. I doubt bringing her would help with the whole subtlety thing, but it would be well worth the laughs Posted Image.
