One thing I'm curious about. It's pretty much a given that somehow Jack and Shepard are going to get separated, along with al the other squaddies. Then we'll have to re-recruit everyone. So what I would like to pose to the benevolent thread is...

What do you think Jack will be doing between ME2 and ME3?

EDIT: Splice, eh?  Could have sworn I saw that a few years ago when Cameron was demoing how he was gonna pull off his little Smurf opus.  Ah well, not the first time I've been wrong.

Seriously though, I still think - story/plot wise - removing the squad makes no sense. It's the last part of a trilogy. Everything(almost) is going to get closure. Pulling another "Shep disappears and squad is off to do something else" would be very very cheap on Bioware's part.

Indeed it is... that movie's been on the shelf for seemingly ages. I saw an effects sequence from it with Adrien Brody dancing with the whatever-the-hell-she-is about six months back and thought it looked fantastic... she's just odd enough to be not-quite cute (especially now I've seen the finished trailer).

I just got an almost immediate email back from my compadre Eddie that occasionally writes stuff on LatinoReview, and he's seen it. He just told me why I had to delete part of my last post here... sounds like a good little horror-ish film (if you're a little sick and demented), even though he totally spoiled the end for me. Meh, I thought about seeing it. But it's also a horror movie, and I hate that. Don't get me wrong, I don't think horrormovies are too scary or I'm easily frightened or something like that, it's just that I usually never enjoy those kind of movies(and a movie needs to be enjoyable imo)

And all the Talimancers just say how her boobs aren't as big in the picture as they are in the game, when they're only slightly bigger in the picture. And then the person posts a weird helmetless picture of Tali sticking her ass out and they say it's awesome.

That guy who posted the Jack pic makes some creepy pictures. I think he was the one who drew that pic of Tali with the cameltoe, and I thought that pic of Jack was also guna have that since she had a similar pose.

As someone already noted, it's from the movie Splice.
And there was risk involved. (though the talimancers were surprinisgly responsive to the suggestion)

So the priiiiize...made up for the heavy risk.

You know what I'd really like? Shepard and the crew to get taken in by the Council. Everyone gets banged up and the first part of the game is busting out of prison... having to save the galaxy by putting your armies together on the sly, and then when the Council and the Alliance are all lined up ready to sell their lives dear to hold the Reapers back, here comes Shepard and the Geth and the Rachni and the Krogan and the Quarians and everyone holds the line while Shep and his merry band set us up the bomb.

Before the arrest/betrayal though... I imagine Jack will be starting to take her wall down brick by brick. With a little help from Captain Amazing (NC-17 rated or otherwise)

I do subscribe somewhat with the prison break idea (as renegades are on the Council's s--t list and paragons are riding a stolen ship).... Come to think of it, I like your idea best. It also fixes the problem of dead squaddies. Instead of having part of a planet closed off because that's where you would have recruited an unfortunately deceased Jacob or whoever, you just see an empty cell.

I agree. No more Normandy getting destroyed, no more getting split up from your squad. In ME3 you should start with and keep the Normandy from ME2 and all your ME2 squadmates who survived the collector base mission, simple as that. Or you should at least start with and keep all your surviving ME2 squadmates. I don't care either way if we still have the same ship in ME3.

Part of me (my demented perv part) seriously would like the mid-prison-break 'Jack & Shep (provided Shep is a guy, natch) reunited' scene to be that scene from Shoot 'Em Up. Only Jack would have a gun too

Might bring a wall or two down in the process...

All critique accepted and welcomed, though I warn you this story will take a while to get up to speed... a lot has to happen yet before the proverbial **** gets anywhere near a fan.

Anyone noticed how more and more characters are showing up in the forums? Morinth, Miranda, Kasumi, even Grunt are in on EDI's gig now (though sporting the logon handles and seemingly immune to language edits, which leads me to suspect moderators shifty hands at work).

I'm wondering how long it'll be before Jack drops by to verbally abuse us... I'm assuming Tali is in hiding for very good reasons... someone might kidnap her for starters!  Bobby and I will probably be for the high jump if Beligerant Sexual Tension and The B Word get around...

I never used it, but most of Ashley, Kaidan and Liara Fans Unite Here! group members (my homeworld) are hooked up to it and telling the truth it's a bit annoying. So I'd rather not transfer RP here, coz I'm sure we'll end up having like 20 Jacks around.
