You know a "Sercurity Blanket" of some kind makes since. Though I thought her gun was it, but a stuffed animal of some sort would also be fitting. Since having that much trama as a child, Jack's maturity would be a bit stunted. Very funny.

I decided to romance Jack on my paragon vanguard (seemed suitable), and while I'm not at the end yet, I found that she truly is a character you want to nurture and protect. I feel that at least the paragon path with her is very well done, and she's one of the deeper characters in the game. Jack ftw

Anyway... I'm glad you're liking Jack, Heart Collector. Wait till you get to her paragon love scene right before you enter the Omega 4 relay, it is by far the most emotional scene in the game, at least I think so .

Somewhat on-and-off topic, but has anyone here made a Shepard, fully intending to guide them towards a particular romance, and then found they couldn't do it - not because you as the player prefer a particular romance, but because you think that visually your Shepard would look good with a particular love interest?

Case in point being I've done the Jackmance three times now, and was just starting another male Shep I was intending to steer towards Kelly (since I've never done it thus far), only to find I kept seeing him with Tali and thinking that this somewhat Latin-looking handsome romeo character would just light the gal on fire... and Kelly is stuck with Urz for another playthrough

Just me, or has this happened to anyone else?

My MainShep is Frank. He's a Spacer War/Hero who looks like he played football in high school. Clean-cut, blonde, innocent looking... He's going with Jack.

Miranda ended up with my John Shaft 70's exploitation dude... I just wish he could have had a bigger 'fro. This new guy that's ending up with Tali... I guess it's one of my dirty fantasies playing out... being the young, inexperienced girl getting swept off her feet by a lothario that knows exactly what buttons to push... I can see Tali as a little bit of a daddy's girl in the bedroom anyways

The oddest thing of all, out of my ladies, the one most people have said is totally pro-model-level gorgeous... who I had intended to end up with Thane... Garrus at the last minute. I mean, they must look (on a physical level at least, let's be honest) hideous to one another... or at least alien enough not to be attractive... and yet they just look good together. Thane ends up all on his lonesome again, poor guy... I've romanced Jacob over him!

Yeah, I think so :happy: She's one of the few characters you actually feel goes through true changes... Maybe because there are so many extremes involved in her life. Granted, she is the stereotype "bad girl but frightened and fuzzy inside", but then again, all the characters are stereotypes in some respects.
Plus, I love it when girls cuss

Yeah I thought that when I had my renegade femShep romance Thane. Who else would go better with my ruthless femShep as a boyfriend than an elite assassin?

I myself have a Lothario MiniShep, who is cheating on Ashley with Miranda.  That way if one or both of them stop talking to me or dies or leaves the party... They're Ashley and Miranda, and I don't really care.

My maleshep had a thing with Ashley in the first game, but the relationship was never consummated.
Then Jack came along and the former flirts' less-than-agreeable character traits stood out something alarming.
Query: do you believe that decision will play in, when the inevitable conflict of romantic liaison strikes?

Well, LiquidGrape, if Ashley went up to your room (provided you didn't Virmire her) then yes, I think it will. ME2 does count that ME1 cabin rendezvous, even though you didn't Ride the Good Ship Ashley-Pop

Now that you mention it, Ash did speak rather vividly about what was allegedly "our night".
- Either she filled that void with wishful thinking, or she's easy to please...

My Jack romance Shepard is Spacer/War Hero guy who is as innocent as a lamb and loves his mom Hannah very much. He is an absolute Paragon and is trying to make this world better. He is a Jack of all trades (Sentinel) and everybody always expect a lot from someone like him (kind of male version of Miranda). He has never hooked up with bad girls like Jack before, but finds her persona very attractive though he still not sure why and this drives him totally insane. Dominic even tries to look badass when she is in his party thinking she might like it, but always ends up looking absolutelly goofy (I love doing Dark Lounge drinking and Afterlife Forvan quests with Jack in my party). He can't help visiting her down the Engineering every now and then, but when Jack finally brings "Are you eyeing me up?" speech he cowardly says "No. It's not what I am looking for." (best option IMO) and that's where the real affection starts. He thinks he is crazy to fall for a biotic maniac, but she is the only person who keeps him sane.
I want so much to see Dominic introducing Jack to his parents. What would Hannah Shepard think of her beloved son's choice? And how will Jack react to the whole "meet parents" situation?
