Do I need to post a video of all the points in the game where Jack realises something she "believed" was actually fantasy?

Also you can't use Jack's childhood as an excuse to justify acting like a spoiled rotten drama queen. She was being conditioned to be a weapon. That in itself makes 90% of her character seem retarded. Why would they condition a weapon to act like a spoiled little girl? And why would said spoiled little girl grow up, be a victim over and over (you can establish this in dialogue clearly) and never mature beyond a mental age of about 15?
Answer: there is no good reason and the story doesn't make sense.

Yes, please do.

Or I could save you the trouble, there's two things. The Two way mirror which made her realize that she wasn't being ignored by 'evil' children, but they were oblivious of her. And the fact that she was the most important test subject and the other children were used as disposable ones, eventhough she thought the other children had it well.

About her acting like a spoiled drama queen, where does she act spoiled? Give me a specific event, cause no matter how many times you say something, it's not making it any more true. She isn't what Cerberus wanted her to be, because Cerberus was in over their heads, as they've been in any friggin project you've encountered. I also see you don't think of her as more mature than a 15 year old,  why exactely? Because she feels rage and fear? Do people lose those when they grow up? Do you think they do?

No matter how many times you say the same thing over and over you aren't making it any more believable.

And no matter how many times you use this same lame excuse, you haven't actually supported your entire argument even once. Congratulation on your fail.

How long has it been since you had a real conversation with another person face to face?  Daddy issues as a term was not created to describe the Electra Complex and in fact the Electra Complex was designed to help socially inept retards associate with the meaning of the term, not the other way around.

And you brought up being attracted to your dad not me.  I just used it against you because it was obviously a very fruedian thing to mention.  Image IPB

Yes, Wisegeek.com, do you have any kind of source backing your claim of 'Daddy issues' outside of your own confused mind.

And I didn't bring up anything, I just wanted to make sure you knew what the words you were using meant. It's like calling a dictionary gay because it knows what gay means. But sure, keep trying to insult me to prove your point, it might work someday.

And again, the Fruedian thing, the Oedipus complex would refer to me being attracted to my mother, use your insults in a correct way, it would stop making you look like an ignorant fool.

But we're going off-topic. And yes, I know, I'm feeding the troll, but I like debating obvious trolls, it strains my debating abilities and composure.

She got all of the "hey we're locking you in a room and doing experiments on these kids over here" but none of the "by the way you're an awesome weapon and you kick ass you should feel good about yourself" follow-up.

So now you are trying to help explain why none of this story makes sense?  I'm confused I thought you were trying to prove me wrong no illustrate why it's so rediculous.

Wait, so now you're trying to tell us how Jack is awesome and emotionally compelling and a deep character who's inner demons are entirely justifiable and rational defense mechanisms for someone of her tumultuous upbringing?

I'm confused I thought you were trying to prove me wrong not illustrate why Jack is such a well conceived and executed character.

To elaborate on LSD's point about the Electra Complex, the point of it (and the Oedipus Complex), in a nutshell (once you get past all of the scandalous nonsense about ******), is that people generally tend to subconsciously seek out partners like their opposite sex parent (This is how the complex is "resolved"). If someone's opposite sex parent (or the primary opposite sex "role model") was absent, abusive, or otherwise bad, then there is a significantly higher risk of them winding up in abusive relationships in adulthood.

So, in the case of "daddy issues" this means that women who had an absent or abusive father have a significantly higher chance than their peers of winding up in abusive relationships as adults.

You do realize that Jack is not a real person? And that all this crap about her making stuff up and having daddy issues makes no sense? She is a fictional character in a video game. The writers created her story and the way she is, and I saw nothing about how she wants to be with a guy like her dad. You are just spewing out nonsense to annoy people, which is the definition of trolling.

My argument is simple and doesn't need more than common sense to understand.  Yours is the one entirely dependant on your fantasy to remain coherent.  I shouldn't need to explain every little detail that common sense should shine the light of understanding on.

You do realise that the goal of good storytelling is to make your audience feel like that can relate to something about the charatcers or the story by using realism?  Does wisedouche.com have a definition of realism in story telling too that makes no damn sense out of context?

This kinda translates to "NO U!".

Describe your 'simple' argument again and help me, an obviously lesser mind than you, understand it. Give me the facts. Prove to me how Subject Zero was spoiled, is overreacting and her actions aren't justified. Get me to see how wonderful her life is and has been and how she should be more mature about it. Make me see how anyone you've met in the game has had it worse off than her.

Her romance plot is good. She's not as pretty as Miranda, but her face is REALLY hot. I can only Romance her or Miranda, because Tali is ugly, and Femshep non-lesbian relationships feel weird.

No, sorry.  I guess I was thrown off because you said nothing of the sort in the post.  Sorry about that, "It was obviously just trolling" in reference to your own posts was too hard for me to interpret.

Go back to your 28 page thread of bawwing.  My time, and just about anybody else's, would be better spent coming up with the thousandth way to photoshop Tali's mask then to expend a single nanosecond dealing with your whiny butt.

Alright. I like her because I THINK she is unique, tough, funny, deep, and I like seeing her show her emotional side after you talk to her a lot and pursue her as a LI. And btw, there are a lot of posts where people thoroughly explain why they like Jack. And for some reason you are ignoring them.

I think something went wrong here, there no hint of an explanation of your 'argument', it must've been an error. I mean, you couldn't really have insulted me again without giving any more information about your own point of view, can you? It's the 'NO U' thing all over again.

Oh and to answer your other question. She's the one of the only people in the game who hates Cerberus as much as I do, but even with that, she's loyal to me and respects me enough to not kill random Cerberus people. I also love to see a woman of such great power have an emotional side underneath, a side not many people ingame (and apparantly IRL) seem to grasp. This is my own observation after playing the game in a specific way though, so you're opinion can differ and it doesn't matter in anyway relating to why I like Jack. I also think she has an attractive face, and a great body, not that big of a fan of her tattoo's, but they enhance her character and personality. I also think she's well-written and deep (for a character in a videogame) and am very intrigued in her person, want to discover more of her. She has piqued my interest.

And that is exactly the response I was expecting. Their opions are not the same as yours, therefore they are lying? Alright, any scrap of credibility you had has officially been thrown out the window.
