I'd love a cutscene involving Miranda referring to Jack as 'Jacqueline' (or any variation thereof) in a condescending, or almost parental authoritative, tone.

-edit. Of course, it'd have to be delivered with folded arms and a sidelong glance.

I hope Casey Hudson is more pleased with how Jack fans turned out than becoming like the Talimancers. It's really creepy how cult-like most of the Talimancers are. With their disturbing sigs and zealousness to let everyone know how great they think Tali is. We mostly keep to ourselves how great we think Jack is by having thoughtout discussions here. Sure we'll defend our girl if someone goes out of their way to bash her. And we'll participate in polls and silly contests to help her out. But we don't feel the need to try and force everyone to like her. And I take great pride in that .

Guess you never visited the old forums. And the only reason why Talifans look like they want to take over the site, is because the haters go out of their way to bash her every single day. Hell, even this thread is starting to become like that...

Which sucks, because this and Thane's one were the most friendly.

If anything, I think the character's "fans" are bashed more so than the character itself. For good reason too, lol.

I'm the crankiest at the moment, so don't tar the rest with that brush. PMS. I'll be normal again in a week. I'm sure everyone else will be more cuddly. For a bit everything will rub my fur the wrong way.

True, this happens mostly to the Talifans. Can you imagine how it would feel like if everyone would threat the Jack fans the same way as they threat the talifans?
 

Sucks pretty hard, and I'm not even a hardcore Talifan. I love(as much as you can 'love' a fictional character) Tali just as much as I love Jack/Thane/Legion/Liara/Miranda/Garrus/Kasumi etc.
I just realised something; if everyone would threat the rest like that, I'm pretty screwed

I have never bashed Tali before a bunch of Talimancers kept going around saying how great they think she is and how other LI's suck. Tali was my favorite character in ME1. And I still like her in ME2. It's her weird fans that I don't like. The weird ones, not all of them. I only ever bash Tali in other threads when a Talimancer bashes Jack, which hasn't happend in a while because I don't look at many other threads. I mostly just look at this thread and the motivationals thread.

Btw, I always wondered what Jack would think after you went in to have a talk with her. Specially if things get more serious down the line. Some time ago there was a topic about how difficult it must have been for her to go to Shepards room. Her getting in and out of the elevator etc. I think It's a shame Bioware didn't show us something like that.

There are a lot of things we would have liked BioWare to do, but they can only do so much. I'm glad they included as much as they did in Jack's romance subplot. Hopefully BioWare will include stuff like what you mentioned, in ME3. Now that we have an established squad, BioWare can invest more into improving upon those characters by adding more dialogue with them, more cutscenes with them, and more interactions with them in general.

If you're playing on the PC, I believe you can use a saved game editor to reset squad member points.

Console? No clue at all.

Yeah, hopefully they will. I'd hate to think that Bioware will go the ME2 route another time and gives us a new squad again. Bioware is really good at creating interesting characters, but I want to see that they can keep them interesting.
