Do the Paragon conversation options to avoid the fling. After that, you can use the Renegade conversation options with her. Obviously, avoid breaking up with her, as that's the Renegade conversation option.

Yeah the romance scene is the same
either way, just dont go for the obvious break up lines like "agreed no
romance" or "There is someone else I like" otherwise than that you
should be safe. When you have the "do you have feeling for me Shepard"
conversation with Jack it can go in different directions, I like the
neutral option.

After all she has been through, that would add some serious salt to an already bitter wound. That would be about as bad as what Mondo described in that touching story. About the guys passing her around and taking turns. I couldn't do that, not to her anyway.
