I always love playing through her recruitment mission. And you see a bit of that emotionally vulnerable softy at the end of it, when Shepard first confronts her. She looks scared and unsure, then quickly covers up with an aggressive tone and profanity

Hey Folks,

I just wanted to share a
piece of Mass Effect fan art with you that I’ve been working on. I
don’t usually do a lot of art for other peoples IPs but Mass Effect is
so gripping, so frikkin awesome that I just had to paint it. The hardest
part has been tearing myself away from the game long enough to paint
this.

 

I’ll put a small version here on the site, but if

On
another note I started a Liara sculpt ages back that I never had a
chance to finish. She’s in ME1
Armour and stands about 10 inches
tall, if I get time I’ll see if I can finish her off and post pics. –

I do like the Omega one... Aria has a bit of the Jacqueline Pearce about her looks (showing my age, but Servalan is one of the greatest villains in sci-fi and a monumental gay icon to boot) and Zaeed looks kinda like Vinnie Jones in his 60's. Truly epic!



Not seen the biggie before... whoa. And it's Shep & Garrus as opposed to Shep and Tali doing the velcro genitals thing. Double bonus. Beats the hell outta the generic facepalm of a cover we got on the game box by miles.

Yeah I love that. You've only seen her as this powerful crazy chick, but for those 2 seconds you see her as this scared, confused little girl. But that quickly snaps away with a, "What the hell do you want?!"

I have not seen this one. This is so much better than the one with Tali humping Shepard's leg.

Man that's extremely impressive. I'm setting it as my new desktop background.

It's funny you should call her a scared little girl, because that makes me realize her demeanor there might be a "flashback" attitude-wise to when she was a little girl in Teltin. She does after all think you're a Cerberus goon there to capture her, so she might be quickly reverting back to those awful years. Makes me feel more sad for her there

Actually, I was just picking up Samara and for a laugh I told poor ol' Niftu Cal to go charge (never done it before as I'd always figured he would have to be a liability) and Jack's response of "That was pretty mean... funny though"... the way she says the first part actually makes it sound like she thinks you've done something fairly nasty, and it's bolstered by the "funny though" sounding completely half-hearted.

We can pick every little word apart () as much as we like, but for all her badassery, I think Jack has a pretty developed sense of right and wrong...

And boy, the class of trolls we get has ****ing plummeted like an elevator in an Omen sequel... the ***** don't even try.

I like when she says, "Damn Shepard, I could take notes from you", when you push that eclipse merc out the window during Thane's recruitment mission.

This brings up an interesting thought.  Is it more fun to be a renegade and bring Jack with you?  Are they more compatible with each other?  Not specifically the romance, but your other actions throughout the game.  Not necessarily pure renegade, but majority renegade nonetheless.  Bonnie & Clyde?

No, at least I don't think so. When I go mostly paragon I like to think that I'm showing her that people can be genuinely nice and selfless. And that hopefully she'll see that she can be a bit friendlier and selfless herself, but still tough and badass of course .

I used to mostly play as my renegade femShep in ME1. But in ME2 I have a hard time playing as her because being renegade in ME2 makes me feel like a complete ****. So I play as mostly paragon now, but I if someone pisses me off I ane't afraid to let'm know who's boss. For me to go renegade in ME2, I have to do the glitch in the beginning to get a bunch of renegade points so that I don't have to always choose the renegade options in order to get access to all the intimidate options.

I think renegade Shepard is a very bad influence on Jack. Renegade Shepard promotes ruthlessness and a total lack of compassion and selflessness.
