They say the artist used digital trickery to augment a photo of another woman, and then just stick Jack's head on the woman's shoulders.  The assertion is that this detracts from the abilities of the artist and the quality of the image, since it wasn't fabricated from scratch, so to speak.


That would be kind of lame, but either way it's still an impressive looking picture.

Amazing job Mondo. Very funny, heartwarming, and in character. I would feel so comfortable if you somehow ended up as Jack's writer :lol:.

The funny part was... I imagined this little epilogue with Grunt and Shep actually at the aquarium and our favorite krogan-kiddie being wigged out by the ray-feeding display. I mean, he's scared of ramen, so maybe he could be scared of a ray trying to nibble his fingers... :wub:

Well, it's San Fran, I'd imagine. Telegraph Hill and Sonoma kinda gave it away.

True, and dead right as well... not everyone knows the greatest city in America though! I thought about making the Coit Tower a victim of the civil war, and I thought about ripping the city in half via the Big One (but everyone does that, so I thought I'd spare San Fran and think that when it happened only Santa Monica fell into the ocean ;) ), but I resisted. I figure it'd be a perfect place for Jack, too... somewhere where no-one would give her a second look unless they were hitting on her... I think she'd like that.

I was thinking San Francisco. When Jack said the place was really liberal, my first thought was San Francisco. I have never heard of Telegraph Hill or Sonoma though.

I read every word of Jack's lines in her voice.  Who needs Futurama and news beamed directly in to my brain, when I can read writing in the voices of the characters?

I hope you don't feel pressured in to writing these little bits of fanfiction, Mondo, but you don't write as Jack, or write Jack's dialogue, you just write Jack.  I don't know how else to say it.

Mondo, you gave me an idea for some Jack & Shepard fanfic.  I assume that Sole-Survivor Shepard suffers from some kind of trauma from the disaster on Akuze, and I wanted to see how Jack would play shrink with Shepard for a change.  It turned out pretty well, not as poignant and revealing of Shepard as I had wanted it to.

 I think this deserves  all the praise it's gotten, it's almost a perfect representation of Jacks true emotional state. And is almost photorealistic when it comes to her physical appearance, which most artists rarely capture.

ME porn depicting Jack is probably the most tasteless of all.  It's definitely up there with the Samara stuff.  Way to totally miss the point of their characters, Mr. Porn Artist (not that you care).
