Jack on the other hand, she keeps on pushing Shep away, be it with varying reasonings behind each shove out the door. Only right at the end do you get any inkling Shep might have made an impression, and even then, will she open herself up in the end? I mean, despite the way the game always throws the bedroom antics at us before the ride into "certain death" I wasn't entirely sure Jack was going to come up to see Shep in that sense.

Y'know, I wondered the same thing on my first playthrough. It was so weird, this girl is not totally fascinated by Commander Shepard, WHAT IS GOING ON?! I was just so used to having everyone make it so obvious they were interested in me, and then here's Jack who keeps trying to push me away till the very end, and I honestly wasn't sure if she would come to my cabin before going through the Omega 4 relay. Early on I wasn't even sure if she was romanceable considering how much she acted uninterested in having a relationship. Especially when she said, "I'm not interested in some dumb**** love affair." When she said that, I had to check outside to make sure fire wasn't raining from the sky. I always figured the world would end before Commander Shepard lost his ability to woo any female in the galaxy.

Aw come on Mondo!  There is a lot of depth with Miranda.

Chest depth that is *cough*:D

Oh, ok, I'll confess I was fishing; throwing my own chumline out for Miridians in the water... they run out of steam faster than Talimancers, and their arguments dissolve into pith like "Well at least she's nice and conventional and not some tattooed slattern with a boy's haircut." ;)

Give me depth anyday!

Here's a very recent and brief interview with Casey Hudson that someone posted on this forum. He talks about player feedback and the scanning minigame a bit. But if you're a Jackolyte, it will make you happy, and if you're not a fan of Miranda, it will make you laugh. So right now I am like :D:lol:.

Yeah I was just reading that, and that's exactly how I felt.Image IPB

So yeah I've come to the conclusion that Casey Hudson is totally a Jackolyte. He just doesn't post here very often :P. But he supports Jack in far more significant ways. :D

Casey liking Jack and Garrus = awesome. Casey gets too much of a bad rap sometimes. I don't agree with everything he says (the asari thing) but he's part of the reason why Mass Effect even exists. I love games that have moral choices (choices in general) and I wish there were more like them.

This was a awesome suprise to me. I had pegged Hudson as a shallow DB at first but now he seems so much more likable.:D

Haha yeah. That made my day when he said Miranda is simpler.

But it was probably Casey who said his favorite new character is Jack. He has said it many times :D. Also the lead concept artist, I believe his name is Matt Rhodes, said his favorite character is Jack.

That's the dude who was in the concept art video right?

And the dude who created the picture for the  Jack lithograph.

What a cool dude.

Very cool guy. He's got a deviantart account too.

I don't get using Miranda as a pinata for being shallow when there are much easier targets around...three-fingered ones...

Oh, let's give the girl some credit.
Considering how buoyant Miranda's characterisation is, and how you can effectively convince her to leave Cerberus behind, I believe the third installment will prove to endow us with ample opportunities to figure her out.
Sure, she can act rather chesty at times, and her anal retentive demands for perfection can cause her initial charms to wear off; but consider the breadth of her person for a second.
Bottom line; we shouldn't completely dismiss Miranda. There's a massive amount of material to draw from, and it speaks volumes.

No that's a player's artwork. No one knows what Jack's leg tattoos look like, assuming she even has any. I think if she does have tattoos on her legs, it should like just like the ones from that picture, they're perfect.

For me, it's purely just joking around with the character.  I don't have a hatred for any of the squadmates in the game.

Same here, though in the end I dislike Miranda's sucky holier-than-thou attitude more than the sugary kitty-cats-and-puppy-dogs-ness of Tali, soooooo, sorry Miri, you be catchin' mah flak ;)

I think it's the in-game rivalry between Jack and Miranda that leads to a little rib-poking between the two fan bases out of game.
