I can't help but wonder if that Hudson interview gave Miranda fans a backhanded compliment by indirectly mentioning they're "simpletons" for a character who was made to be simple.

I don't believe he meant offense. What he said may have been unwise in the context of trying not to annoy some of ME's fans, though. With few exceptions, no one particularly likes to be told that their favorite character is simple.



I think what he was trying to do was say that people liked both the more "unique/deep" characters and the more "simple" characters.

He probably didn't mean any offense, he was probably just being honest.. and well Miranda is simple. I'm not so sure that is subject to interpretation and it doesn't have to mean a bad or good thing, no reason for anyone to be offended some people like simple. I'm not one of them.

 Wow Casey just took a low blow to all the Miranda fans . I was a little unsure of Jacks role in ME3 because she does not have a huge fan base but after looking at that interview  I think it is safe to say that if the main producer of Mass Effect likes Jack her chances of playing a big role in ME3 are good.

I think they will have all of the love interests return. I would be disappointed if they didn't. After all it's the end of the trilogy, we should see these characters return as squad mates and develop their character as well as romance if you chose that route.

Yes, they are rather pissed. But to be fair, Casey said Miranda was simpler, not simple.

@Jackal: Awesome motivational. I admit to being a slight fan of Miranda, no Miridian by far, but there are qualities I like that aren't physical....not many, but there there.

Yeah I was just poking a little fun at Miranda. In fact, I got that screenshot from the Miranda thread which was used for something not so nice towards Jack, so it's only fair that I used it against them .

Think it would have been funny if they tossed in a tech ability in with Jack's biotics. Come on, with all the people she's run with, she must have learned a hacking trick or two.
