I'm pretty sure that one up there is the in-game model.



Her fingers are posed rather awkwardly. Whoever ripped the model from the game likely had to do the rigging and skinning from scratch.

Anyway, I can't say I'm a fan of Jack smoking in that one picture. I like to think Jack doesn't smoke or do drugs anymore. I hate both with a passion. Especially when attractive women smoke. I just want to yell and them and say, "C'mon! You're hot! Smoking will make you ugly!"

Wow, it looks like the Mass Effect movie is actually going to be made.

They could either go the route of retelling the story of ME1-3, or maybe they'll do it in more of a spin-off story. I guess it's time for us to ramp up the discussion of "Who should play Jack?" more than we already have. (See: Natalie Portman)

Make Shepard not have a romance. Not only because people are going to get annoyed that Ashley, Lirara, Miranda, Tali, or Jack are not Shepard's romance interest, but because I dislike needless romances in Hollywood movies in general. Can't we have an action hero without a romance interest?

I think Jack's more likely to wean herself off drugs because the heavy stuff doesn't work for her anymore, or rather she's unable to get high off drugs because all her early life she's been pumped with chemicals.

I saw the ME movie coming from a mile away.



If Ubisoft can have Prince of Persia, then it's only a matter of time for Bioware to get one for themselves. Knowing the typical Hollywood pattern they'll do a revamp of the first game with bits and pieces of the second game. It could go many different ways depending on who's working on the movie.



Or if Bioware's really keen on promoting ME3, they'll make the movie the precursor to introducing the new protagonist by having him briefly serve with Shepard, or have relatively extensive knowledge on him while serving with the Alliance.

I don't understand why people hate on the idea of a Mass Effect movie. All game to film movies are not bad. And it would be completely idiotic for the Mass Effect movie to not be about Commander Shepard. If it isn't about Commander Shepard then they shouldn't even bother making the movie. What happens in the movie does not affect your game. People need to relax. Just because Shepard may do something different in the movie than in the game, that doesn't mean the movie is crap. I'm sure they will handle decisions well in the movie so that it doesn't ****** off fans of the game. And I agree that Shepard should not have a romantic relationship with anyone in the movie. But if he does, I wouldn't care.

So the Jean Claude Van Damme Street Fighter movie was good? As well as that Chun Li spinoff one? As well as the one of Super Mario? Double Dragon? Hitman? Tomb Raider? Silent Hill? Need I go on?



It's not a matter of people hating on a Mass Effect movie. It's the idea of a film adaptation of a videogame. There's always going to be something that gets lost or misconstrued in the production process. Especially with Hollywood. Oh hell, all the hate is really about Hollywood.

I'm with axl. The movie industry hasn't proven that they can make decent or satisfactory video game to film movies. I don't expect the Mass Effect movie to be any different. Not to mention I hate the idea of "canon" choices being in the movie.
