Yup agree, IMO it's not only the best written romance (as you can esailly screw it up), but it's also the best scenario.

Once you have your romance scene, impossible not to want Jack abck in ME3. There is too much behind it, and there could be as much forward, to make character die or non playable in the future...

Definitely. During my first playthrough I romanced Tali, nice story, a bit "rose-candy", but nice still.

When I did my second playthrough and romanced Jack, that scene is simply hearth-breaking and intense despite it's short duration. I invite everyone to do it and change their mind about Jack's character. Can't understand why she is so hated...

If I might wax nostalgic for a moment...

Back in the days when I first started on this good old information superhighway (aah, logging onto America Online with a 56k baud modem, still play the sounds every so often to bring back memories), one of the first groups I joined was a roleplaying group whose message board had absolutely NO moderation whatsoever.  Regulars on the board were fairly rude, to newcomers, to veterans, and to each other.  That atmosphere taught me pretty quickly how to deal with issues with people on my own, and I'd call it one of my most valuable experiences in being on the web.

Ironically enough, though, He Who I Can't Be Bothered To Name got me more active on this thread than I ever was before, and I'm seeing it a lot more activity here.  Which, considering what his goals are, is so deliciously ironic I could lap it up like ice cream. 

Oh, and I've decided that if folks on the modding thread can upload reskins of armor and stuff over there without issue, I can post some texture files, too. I changed one pixel on each of these pics, so I'm really just sending out a reskin.

Grr... too many people talking about a Shepard/Jack wedding!  Stop it!

The only wedding I could ever see them ever happening is in the midst of battle, Will & Elizabeth style.  Of course, since Shepard is the commander of his ship, he'd have to do it himself.

"Hey, Jack!"

"Little busy keeping our asses from getting killed here!"

"You wanna get married?"

"*shrug* I dunno, I suppose."

"Okay, we're married now."

"Good for us.  Now take out that ****ing sniper on the left, there.  He's pissing me right the **** off!"

That's pretty much as sappy as I ever expect the relationship to get.

I dont see Jack as the big extravagant wedding type. If she does want a wedding it would probably involve just her and Shepard, a priest to make it official, and a hotel suite with a mini bar and rotating heart shaped bed. Plain,simple,fun,cheap.

That romance scene singlehandedly transformed me from a Talimancer into a full-fledged Jack fan, even though my original intent behind romancing Jack was just to satisfy my curiosity about the some of the game content I'd missed the first time around.

Though I admit, I still keep a Tali romance save-game just in case Bioware end up axing Jack for the last game.

Hah, that would be interesting. I remember back in Fallout 2 you could actually get married in-game and then have your spouse follow you around as a companion. Haven't seen something like that in any game since.

Yeah, I remember getting hitched in Fallout 2, and then my other half kept getting sliced in half by my inability to aim the Bozar *ahem*... glad I've not seen it since because of that...

I'll make my only comment on the M-word here and leave it at that; some people see it as the be-all-end-all icing-on-proverbial-cake ending to a relationship. Others don't. But either way, I think you'd have to be with someone a little longer than saving the galaxy a couple of times before you did. And it's not really required for a good relationship, if we're all completely honest with one another. And who'd marry Shep - they're always off saving the galaxy! So let's all leave that talk for ME - The Next Generation, eh?

Jack is awesome but lets not turn this into the Tali and Miranda thread where they talk about marriage and fanfic ****. ****ing stupid. But it's getting frustrating because everyone says the Jack fan thread gets dwarfed by the others. Then I have to explain to them that it's because the people in the Jack fan thread don't treat it like freaking chat room/twitter. And we don't spam all these wierd ass pictures of Shepard and Jack with hearts everywhere, and we don't have retarded fanfic crap.

I would like to see a simple continuation, kind of what is in DAO. Seems like BW hinted towards that with being able to call your LI to your cabin. Now if they could add some dialog.

I'd be seriously disappointed with anything less than a full fledged romancable/romanced Jack.

The most obvious scar is the ones on the back and sides of her neck. It could just be where her biotic amp is. In the codex's it says biotic amps are usually placed at the base of the skull. It kind of appears like there's a long scar that goes down the center of her entire back. I'm not sure if that's a tattoo or a scar though. And on the right side of her back there appears to be two parallel scars. But once again I'm not sure if they are scars or tattoos. But I think they're scars.

I think an approach similar to the transition from Baldur's Gate II to the Throne of Bhaal expansion would be the most satisfying for all involved. 

Not sure I'd necessarily want them to go down the DAO route. On the whole, people don't seem too thrilled about they way they're handling romances romances (at least going from Origins to Awakening).

I think in-game pics of Jack are fine but the thought of seeing Jack in a wedding dress next to Shep while they stand on a rainbow or something is just wrong.
