They may also be threatened by Samara's jaw.  "Manjaw", they say,
ignoring the rest of her body.  Short attention spans

Little known fact:
There is a girl at university which I thought I knew from "somewhere". I couldn´t quite remember where I knew her from or her name or whatever...
After a few much too long moments staring at her I realized she had the exact same jaw as Samara... She could have been her face model to be honest. That was weird...
(i did not ask her if she knew me2...)

I couldn't have said it better myself.

They most likely couldn't handle Jack anyway.

Well, the name of Samara's face-model is "Rana", so maybe you should ask.

I really liked the dark mood of ME2, it gave greater depth to the franchise while ME1 has a Star Trek like optimism (I mean the first series with Kirk or The Next Generation). But ME2 also had more humor. If ME3 will be darker and have moar humor, it will be totally awesome.

And who cares if Samara has a manjaw, can't they see her... Silicon Valley down there? Some people are born just to complain ;-)

@LiquidGrape: that fanart of Jack next to the blood stain of her first kill is so adorable ^_^

ME3 is supposed to contain more humor, but it's not supposed to be darker. I'm glad ME3 is going to be more lighthearted. Hopefully that means more inter-squadmate interaction, since I'm assuming part of ME3 being more lighthearted will be from your squadmates being more comfortable and social with eachother. But I don't know how a bazillion Reapers invading the galaxy and destroying everything could be more lighthearted than some human colonies occasionally getting abducted.

And I have never heard anyone complain about Samara's jaw. I don't think it looks manly at all. Some people are just shallow and far too picky.

@JD

I love that motiv :D. Did someone post that in the motivational thread before?

From http://www.oxm.co.uk...le.php?id=19778

The third story is where you try and bring some fun and lightness back into it. One thing we tried to do with Mass Effect 2 was as well as bringing in the more mature stuff, we also tried to bring in a lot more humour so that we can go to these places without making it an overbearing experience. I think we have a lot more fun this time through characters like Joker and EDI. Mass Effect 3 is going to be the epic conclusion... so, a lot more darkness but also a lot more humour.

Hmm, I originally took the "fun and lightness" comment as meaning ME3 will be less dark. Casey Hudson has said before that ME2 is the dark act and ME3 is the uplifting heroic act essentially. ME2 is already pretty dark, it'll be interesting to see how dark ME3 is.

I take the wait a see approach with any of Casey Hudson's comments.  Like I do with politicians, look at their actions and not listen to their words.

As long as Bioware's idea of humor isn't ewoks or a krogan Jarjar, I'm fine.

It'll most likely be more of the humor we've seen in ME2. Lots of easter eggs and occasional funny bits of dialogue. Which would be great. I love the humor in ME2.

Humor that you will not see in ME3.

Shepard: *rubs belly* Whoa that dinner was delicious wasn't it?
Jack: You're telling me, I'm stuffed. Here, pull my finger.

*FemShep is getting dressed in her quarters*
*FemShep hears a noise from under the bed*
FemShep: Legion, is that you under there?
Legion: Affirmative.
FemShep: Uh, why are you under my bed watching me dress?
Legion: Wait, don't talk just yet. I am building a consensus.

... I want to run my fingers through Jack's hair fuzz, even if I'll lose my drawing hands in the process.

I get that urge to rub people's closely shaved heads. Like somehow it will create static electricity like rubbing a balloon. Though, with Jack's biotics, I suppose I could actually get the same effect as a balloon. Or maybe that's the biotic punch she's likely to give if I try it.

Ya never know if Jack would appreciate a nice scalp massage. Do a good enough job and she'll probably ask you to keep going until you lose all feeling in your fingers.

Getting to rub Jack's shaved head is a pleasure reserved solely for the Shepard who romanced her.

Would it be an exaggeration to say that the Jack character is ME2's crowning achievement?

Well, I don't know about that, but the game was definitely missing a character who makes an instant impression upon the player.  I knew I liked Jack the second I saw her tattoos and the disparity between her reputation and her body size.

Not sure, but it does make me wonder at what point during my playing of the game that I decided it was pure win. It wasn't until sometime after Freedom's Progress. It wasn't the reveal of Garrus, because I already knew he was in the game. It wasn't meeting Mordin, because I knew Mordin and I would be bestest nerd pals forever before I played the game. It might have been the moment Grunt said "Jack is small," though.

I am trying to think of what ME2's biggest achievement is, other than maybe the Jack character.  In terms of the story/plot and characters, not the improved graphics or combat.  The plot basically is the characters/team.
