I like all the characters (it may not be obvious but it's true), I just like some more than others. Even Miranda. Well, when she doesn't act like a ****.

Hmm...you people enjoy bashing other characters in here, don't you?

Yep. We love it and we're the only ones who bash other characters. No one else, no other fan thread, makes fun of other characters. Just us.

Please tell me I'm not the only one who knows they lyrics to "Whatever Lola Wants."

All's I know, york, is three things. Birds gotta fly, fish gotta swim and characters gotta arc. Liara will get worse before she gets better. Unless, of course, one of these bridge DLCs takes the edge off of her. Either way, she'll develop.

But thank God for the confirmation of those bridge DLCs. Beyond the shadow of a doubt, provided of course that the DLCs amount to more than herd thinning, Jack and everyone else WILL be back.

Good point...maybe Mass Effect is the real reality and what we think is the 'real world' is some kind of dream world.

I'm of the mindset that they should clear all story hooks with DLC. That was probably my main disappointment in the first game as I wanted to explore that game more with expansions, which we did not get.

Of course they might all be combat oriented, but whatever.

Don't worry about reality, you'll soon awaken.  After all I am just a figment of your imagination, a representation of suppressed feelings and desires with the ultimate goal of waking you up to the actual reality.

Of Mass Effect.

Actually the real world is more like Twin Peaks.

I did once think that "reality" is simply an advanced version of the Sims. Sometimes life sucks because they have too many people to manage, or for their own twisted pleasure - similar to anyone who played the Sims that left their Simians in a empty room before deleting the door, to watch them cry nd wet themselves. Although, maybe I was the only one who did that.

More related to Jack however, did the guy touching up her tattoos ever post a progress report recently, or has that dropped of the radar?

That very well may be the case, but if so, the squaddies won't be all that talkative as they may not be able to get all the VAs back into the booth.... Of course now that I said that, it might actually happen.

But I am most curious about this bridging DLC.  Being as ME2 was pretty much ALL character development, I'm having a hard time seeing nothing but combat packs in the future.  Squadmates will be further developed and dealt with.  At least that's how I see it.  This isn't the last we've seen of Jack.

You talking about the character designer?

How far off do you predict this bridging DLC?  Late in the year, perhaps even next year to stir up excitement and anticipation for ME3?

You're not the only one, and I can say I even like Zaeed.... Well, okay, someone will probably point out how I once said I didn't like Morinth. But I'm only talking about the characters you get when you make smart decisions.

And it's like saying I can make fun of black people 'cause I'm black. I can make fun of all the characters because I like all the characters.

Except that's not what people see. They see me in the Jack support thread making a dig at their personal favorite. They don't know me, they don't know I'm black, so I'm just making the racist jokes 'cause I'm a huge racist.

No. Wait. I think my explanation got all messed up.

I think so. It's been long enough that my memory is more than a little fuzzy about the details however.

Well AFAIK, we have no details about the meaning of any of Jack's tatoos at this time.  Is that what you are talking about?

Ah! No, sorry. I was meaning the texture replacement to make them a little less fuzzy. I should have been clearer, I apologise.

Haha, little bit. Made me laugh though.

Morinth wasn't even in my mind when I said I love all characters. And I don't like TIM. So I guess that makes me a liar. I've never recruited that space-succubus, I just can't bring myself to do it, Mind Rape is a huge turn off.

I'm with you on poking fun at characters, sometimes I take it a tad far, but it's all out of love. I swear. :innocent:

Back to Jack though... Waif Fu. I think it fits her (sort of), mixed with a little alot of Ax Crazy. Anyone agree/disagree?

(forgive me york, for linking to the eternal black hole).

Haha yeah someone brought this up a while ago. But I've always been a fan of the "Waif Fu" trope. There's nothing like a petite chick that can kick some major ass.

She has some awesome cutscene powers, but she really isn't portrayed as having stronger than average female physical strength.  Or at least not that I can think of.

Think it would be hard to tell with her because she never not uses her biotics with her punches. But at least that gives her a reason for being such a Waif Fu, she at least has the biotics to help her toss a krogan on his ass.

Oh I do like all of the characters. I have my favorites, of course - but there's good in every character.

Except Morinth.
