She has some awesome cutscene powers, but she really isn't portrayed as having stronger than average female physical strength.  Or at least not that I can think of.

Think it would be hard to tell with her because she never not uses her biotics with her punches. But at least that gives her a reason for being such a Waif Fu, she at least has the biotics to help her toss a krogan on his ass.

Yeah, that would be the case with all of the female squadmembers though, except for Tali maybe.  You could even put FemShep in that category I suppose if you wanted to.

Edit:  Well not all of them are tiny looking, if this is a requirement to fit the definition.

Oh I do like all of the characters. I have my favorites, of course - but there's good in every character.
Except Morinth.

There is good in her too.... she fought for you when she could have escaped your ship.

If in-game, non-cutscene powers are any indication (and I don't think they necessarily are), Jack has incredible control over the mass effect fields she produces (Warp Ammo).  Liara seems to have similar capabilities, as we see her use biotic kung-fu in the Redemption comics.

Again, we need to see Jack with some kind of awesome Biotic Clobber ability in ME3, like the one that's been mentioned before, where she pulls someone to her and tosses them away like a ragdoll with a biotics-powered punch.  I'd like to hear Courtenay Taylor yell, "IT'S CLOBBERIN' TIME!" whenever Jack sends someone hurtling away.

^How about something a little less Fantastic Four though?

Edit:  Maybe she says "yeah!  get some ****!"

I guess the whole serial killer who kills innocent people and was about to kill me thing is hard to reconcile with me. Just my personal opinion.

Zaeed was about to let a full refinery be destroyed.  Jack, well when we meet her she is dead set on killing anyone who gets in her way.  Tali wants to wipe out the Geth.  Grunt threatens to kill you if you aren't strong.

One can still have interest in a character, and not morally align one's self with the character's morality.

One can like Freddy Krueger, but despise murder and other horrible acts in reality.

Zaeed - Acted rashly, but wasn't trying to kill the innocent people. He agrees to save the slaves if you take that route.

Tali - Until Legion, no one was aware that the Geth were peaceful or had differences of opinions between themselves.  So far as everyone knew, they were T-80 robots programmed to kill all organics. Understandable for her.

Grunt - He backs down eventually. If you don't have charm or intimidate, Morinth is about to kill you when Samara pops out.

Jack - She's escaping from a mercenary run prison facility that has
used and abused her. Considering the fact that the Warden Kuril ordered
the guards to open fire on the prisoners, do you expect she just stand
there and get shot at...

She didn't want to kill Shepard when you meet her. She was just relunctant on joining Cerberus, which is very understandable. I don't think she and Morinth are very comparable, tbh. Or any of the characters you mentioned. Morinth is a serial killer rapist who kills innocent people for pleasure. You're free to like her, but IMO she's not very comparable to the other characters. She's within her own moral shade of black.

Yeah warp ammo has got to take a lot more precision than typical biotic abilities. She has to focus her biotics to cover each individual bullet. Maybe Jack is able to be a lot more precise with her biotics than we think, she just chooses to take the less precise more destruction route most of the time.

That's because you shot and killed a gaurd that was trying to attack her. If Shepard just walked up to her, she probably would have tried to kill him on the spot.

You know what would have been really interesting. Is if when you initially met Jack face to face, she was hostile to you, and at first you have an opportunity to use charm or intimiate to persuade her into listening to you. But if you couldn't persuade her, she attacks you and you have to somehow subdue her to a point where she'll stop and listen to you. Idk I just thought that might've been interesting . But I'm content with how it actually plays out in the game.

It's the attempted Mind Rape that did it for me. The Prothean Beacon already covered that life experience thank you very much.

Makes me wonder how Jack would get along with Morrigan. I can't decide if it would be really well, or really, really badly. :P

So how concerned is everyone that BioWare will do Jack justice in ME3? It's one of my bigger concerns for ME3. If they do a bad job with her in ME3, I'll be bummed, but oh well. Plus I'll probably be extremely busy with school when ME3 comes out, so I'll have enough to keep my mind off of video games in general.

I'm more worried whether my computer will even be able to play ME3. Just kidding.

Jack didn't get as much character depth as I'd have liked in ME2, considering that most of the story was supposed to be a series of character pieces. I dunno if many characters in the third game will get further development especially with all the stuff that might be happening with the Reapers.

So yeah I'm a little worried. We'll have to see how they'll close the series, before they reopen it again with an MMORTS or something.

Very worried, actually. Jack is what made ME2 for me, so if they mess her up in ME3 they better have something new and damn good that makes the game worthwhile for me.

What I see for ME3 is that having certain squad mates alive or with you provides extra content and options on missions you will do anyway. For example, a Cerberus related mission would garner some Jack dialog.

But there is still this question. If Jack had no personal mission, but had extra dialog on certain missions, as well as Normandy dialog, would that be giving Jack justice?

Yeah same here. Sure I'll be pissed and bummed if they mess up Jack in ME3, but relative to how emotional someone can get over a video game. After all, they are just fictional characters.

But I can imagine some people getting extremely worked up over the disatisfactory handling of their favorite character in ME3. Lets just say if BioWare ****s up Tali in ME3, there will be blood...

In ME2?   No, it wouldn't be doing her justice..   Destroying Teltin is the most critical moment for her character.  Jack tells you herself that it wasn't good for her to be so caught up in her past, no matter how you approach her - as Paragon or Renegade.  After that point, she can finally move on.

I guess it would depend on the dialogue. But it would have to be damn good dialogue to justify not further developing her character with a mission specific to her.

I'm very concerned.  They did a superb job setting up and developing her character in ME2.  How can they follow that act, without making it seem like, in ME3, she's undergoing too much character development, too fast?  Simultaneously, she's a character who is deeply effected by Shepard's actions, even more so if he romanced her.  It would be a wasted opportunity to show Jack not changing in reaction to the way Shepard has treated her.
