There could be something small like Garrus' personal mission in ME1 with Saleon, though. That's better than no personal mission at all.

I don't think there will be time for personal missions. I foresee a Landsmeet-type-dealie, maybe. If Bioware's writers think they can develop her character adequately through meetings on the ship and casual comments during missions, then they're welcome to try. I'd be pretty upset if they messed it up. Even an epilogue for each character might work.

I would like a combination of KOTOR and KOTOR TSL in terms of banter...
KOTOR: While walking around, your squad may strike up conversations with each other. Sometimes you can interject and state your opinion.
KOTOR TSL: When you enter your ship, sometimes a scene plays where two or more squad members are talking with one another. Sometimes you can interject...
Add in the amount of banter that Dragon Age has, and ME3 would be all the better.
This would do a lot for the sense that this is a real squad and team that you have and they are interacting with each other, instead of them all being on their own metaphorical island.

Jack has lots of potential as a part of a greater whole in humanity's place in the universe, considering who she is and what she's capable of. She's like a giant warning sign of just how much more willpower it'd take for other biotics to maintain the latent abilities she has. The Alliance might use her past with Cerberus for a smear campaign and of course the Hanar are likely still pissed at her for that one time she dented their moon with a Turian spacestation she blew up.
Oh hell Jack's pissed off plenty of people. Who knows how many of the may be out looking for blood.

This would nice. I would like to see more humorous dialog exchanges between Shep and the squadmates, and between the squadmates themselves also.Collider wrote...
I am also hoping for some real banter. We did get a little, albeit generic, banter in ME1, as well as some (but less generic, thankfully) banter in ME2, but it wasn't amazing.

Above all else, we need a good plot and storyline I think.axl99 wrote...
They need the implied epic story scale of ME1 for ME3, the slightly more indepth character development in ME2, and stab it with as many needles of steroids as they can stick onto a game disc.

Sigh, we totally missed that kinda character synergy.

Oh, and ME1's story & scale and ME2's character mastery...happy times.

I actually think they will include missions in ME3 similar to the loyalty missions in ME2. But I don't know if they'll be as straightforward as the ME2 loyalty missions. I think it will be a series of events that revolve around individual characters. Like an ongoing subplot throughout a good portion of the game.
Do you think that there will be time?

If you time in context of ME3's actual story, that would depend. It's possible that they may have a sense of time urgency in the ME3 (which was not achieved well at all in ME1, despite the intent), yes. If that is the case, then character specific missions may not be as plausible.

Good point. That's why my guess about certain missions being flavoured by certain squad mates may be more applicable, IMO.yorkj86 wrote...
I meant within the timeframe of ME3. The Reapers are coming, and, assuming that we will be defeating them within the duration of the game, that might not leave much time for missions that aren't directly related to dealing with the threat.

Time probably will not matter though. It hasn't mattered in the series so far.
Time does not exist in the Mass Effect universe. Look at Tali... she was like 17 in the last game and now she is 24. She aged seven years in a matter of two years.

On that note, however, how old do you all think Jack is? I'd put her in early to mid twenties. Maybe 24 or 25. Just IMO.

Yea. Talk about immersion breaking. The VI was a deus ex machina. Came out of nowhere to reveal everything. Saren is about to lead the Reapers onto the Citadel and Shepard is pushing all of these questions forward.yorkj86 wrote...
And Saren waited politely and patiently at the gate near the tunnel on Ilos for Shepard to show up.

^Well that isn't exactly what I meant NICK.But, I'm sure you know that.
You know me... anytime I can make a jab.
Also... you can tell she was something close to seventeen by her voice and her mannerisms in the first game compared to the second game. This is the Jack thread though... so lets focus on Jack. I would put Jack in her mid to late 20's.

Yeah, although it answered a lot of questions, it was rather late and abrupt.Collider wrote...

Don't really mean to get into a conversation, but I'm fairly certain that Bioware did not give Tali an age in ME1. If you have proof, I'd like to see it.

Personally I'm giving Tali and Jack the same approximate age. Don't judge by the voice, Tali's is just meant to be sweet and Jack's isn't. Early twenties in ME1for Tali and mid twenties in ME2, femshep, Ashley and Kaidan being considerably older, early thirties but no later. And still after having romanced Jack with my maleshep to Omega4 and beyond I still think she's no later than mid 20s, and he's quite older. On the other hand she could just be a really well done 27
