1) What description were you given about Jack's character?
2) What was your reaction when you found out you were voicing a badass
chick that's covered in tattoos and has a shaved head?
3) Were you able to find Jack's voice quickly or did you have to experiment
with a few different types of dialects and enunciations before it
sounded right?
4) Jack has quite a few emotional scenes. Was it difficult to nail that
perfect tone for those scenes?
5) Were you able to hear the lines of other characters while you were recording lines?
6) Have you seen a lot of footage of Jack with your voice attached?
7) How do you feel about the about the end result of the character Jack? Is there anything you would change about her?
8) Did you do voice work for other characters in the game?
9) *I can't think of a ninth question*
10) And last but not least, cake or pie?

I tried to avoid directly asking her anything too deep. But I left questions general enough so that she could discuss things deeper if she wants to.

I like these questions. The last one is truly the most vital.

Are we still planning on actually contacting Courtney Taylor, or was that just a fanciful idea we toyed with?

Yeah. Well at least I think we're actually doing it. But we still need a ninth question. And who wants to send the email? I vote someone who is better at forming intelligent sentences than I .

*is disappointed she missed gay debate*

For that matter, is Jack bi? I've always wondered. She says she's been in bed with a male and female couple, and when you ask her about her love life she says "If you mean a girlfriend or a boyfriend, no." I don't think I've ever heard her say she's strictly hetero. So if they made her bi in ME2, it might not technically be a retcon.

That's open to interpretation.   Different people will tell you different things.  Jack says that she "doesn't play for the girls' team."  Before that, she says that she got in to bed with a guy and his girlfriend.  Combining those two bits of evidence, come to whatever conclusions you will.

I think that Jack may be sexually attracted to both men and women, but she is only romantically attracted to men.

I'll send the e-mail, once we've figured out the ninth question, once we're completely satisfied with all of the questions we've compiled, and once we figure out which contact e-mail to send the e-mail to.   She lists several management companies and voice-actor agencies on her webpage.

Tomarrow I'll check out specifically how we should contact her. I'm calling it a night right now.

And yeah, think of a ninth question people! Also is everyone content with the current compilation of questions?

How about "How were you chosen as Jack's VA?" or something along those lines.

Haha I did think about it. That would be an interesting romance to see play out. Conrad would probably have a heart attack if femShep even hinted to him that he had a chance with her.

Wouldn't that be promoting infidelity though? Since Conrad is supposedly married? :P

I say supposedly because I wouldn't be surprised if it turns out that he's just very lonely and created an imaginary wife. Then again, it would be absolutely hilarious if the next encounter with him in ME3 has his wife appearing to **** him out for always being away from home and/or stalking Shepard.

Seems pretty self-explanatory to me, romantic love and lust aren't always linked.

Well I was just confused! *sobs into corner*

No seriously, I feel like, if she can be sexually attracted to a woman, why can't a good caring woman come along who she can be romantically attracted to as well?

I've known a few folks wor are bi who've said about the same thing. Not that I claim to understand it perfectly, but it doesn't seem all that uncommon.

Hey all. I'm back after having watched Duck Soup. There was actually a scene that made me think of the Turian Councilor. A man's wife tells him "The country's gone to war!" hands him a rifle, and he pushes the rifle away, saying "I'm going to take a bath!"

Shep: "The Reaper fleet is on its way!"

Turian Councilor: "I'm going to take a bath."

It depends on what kind of bisexual she was than wouldn't it? There are plenty of bi people who are only romantically attracted to one gender or the other, while still being physically attracted to both. Just something a little different in their brain chemistry knocks them to one way or the other, I suppose.

That depends upon whether or not you think a distinction can be made between feelings of love and feelings of lust.   I think that a distinction can be made.  They can be combined, but they don't have to be.  For example, people who claim to be asexual (having no sexual appetite and preference) still claim to have feelings of love.

I realize that I may have came across as hostile to some of the members in a few of my earlier posts about this topic. If I had elaborated more, and provided more clarification on my stance, then they may have not been received in a hostile manner. This time, york did me a favor and represented my stance quite well. I am aware that I have an outspoken nature, but I certainly could have toned down the rhetoric a notch, and explained myself more clearly without appearing overly provocative.

Aw, I can't stay mad at you.

Well I honestly have never had that explained to me before. Don't know too many bisexual people. Gay people, yes. Bi, no.

Where it says "Get the Demo Now - Free Download", it looks like Jack is giving us The People's Eyebrow.

A friend of mine came out as bisexual a few years back, so I have a little exposure to it. I really don't know exactly how common romantically attracted to one gender but physically to both bisexuals are compared to full romantic and physical bisexuals but I know they are at least known in that community.

Should we sent Courtenay some Jack fanart as well? Y'know. Just because we dig her so much.

[GAH, DOUBLE POST AGAIN?! Will edit later with a quick Jack sketch in the next couple hours]

edit: here's my sketch for tonight, not too bad for roughly an hour's work. I hid my sig in the tattoos again.

"The Jack says she will smear Miranda's rooty-poo candy-ass all over this wall if she tries to touch The Jack again!"

Sorry.  Couldn't help myself.

Nice, that outfit would be so awesome if it didn't have those damn shades.
