Well I suppose it is how one looks at it.  From TIM's perspective, as you said, she became  quite useful to him afterall.  Perhaps not exactly what Cerberus had in mind though.  They were trying to create super human biotics I think.  I don't know what research and other data was recovered from that project by Cerberus when Jack escaped.  I assume that quite a lot of data was recovered though.  We don't know for sure if they are still furthering development off of this data.  It's safe to assume that they probably are though.  Whether we see anything about this in ME3 is anyone's guess.  Probably not though.

Grr. These forums are quite addicting. I'm gunna hold this page and thought for later. I'm really interested in this.

Goodnight all, time for me to sleep.

Anyone have a clue what Jack's 'ear piece' thingie is?

I think it's her universal translator. In the ME novels there's a character that wears hers as a necklace iirc.

That was Jake, but he edited the post and deleted the link.

Yah, it was me, and second-guessing yourself is a curse when you have no confidence in your so-called writing ability.

It's down again.  Doing something else instead.

Thanks to whoever read it.

I should turn these little comics of mine into a "Definitive Jack FAQ"

How would Jack look like with hair? epantiras.deviantart.com/art/So-cute-with-hair-165124289
How old is Jack? epantiras.deviantart.com/art/ME2-Jack-s-age-167009121
Is Jack bi? epantiras.deviantart.com/art/ME2-The-Girl-Club-167724175

What's that thing Jack's wearing on her hear?

So that's why Jack is so confrontational! :D

Heh. Makes you wonder how your words actually translate to others. Maybe Shepard's words translate a bit like an Elcor to a Turian. Like the Turian Councilor is actually hearing "Dude, like, there's these Reapers, man. Totally evil. We should, like, do something about it, man." I'd think Shepard's crazy, too.

I've been looking at the suicide mission details for a long time, though. I never had a problem getting the right people for the right roles. I'd love it if the developers had thrown more complications into the mix,

Same here. If all your squadmates were loyal then you're pretty much set. Deciding which teammates should take which roles is so obvious that it's almost trivial. The concept is kool, but it could have used more depth. I would like it if loyalty was based on more than whether or not you did a mission specific to them. Like in DA:O you're squadmates will like you more or less depending on your conversations with them, similar to real life (although I didn't like how numbers were attached to how much they liked me. It made them feel less real). In ME3 I would like a similar system, but with out a "like/dislike meter." The only way you should be able to gauge how much a squadmate likes you, is by their responses.

This is one epic picture :D. I've never seen a screenshot of this before. And it's awesomeness is hugely amplified by the fact that you can't see Jack's visor while she's wearing her alternate outfit.

I just looked at you're profile and low and behold it says female.  I should have paid attention.  Anyway, I noticed a comment that you made.  You're painting Samara?  Would you be interested in sharing it with the Samaratians in the Samara thread when you are finished?

I'd be happy to once I'm done. Just need to know which thread to post in, it's hiding somewhere in the Character Builds forum, I just know it!

Someone was working to get rid of them, but I haven't heard anything more about that.

Wouldn't help me anyway. I play on the 360. I'd imagine that an alpha channel would effectively get rid of the shades. Then again - if it were that easy, someone would have likely done it aleady.

I am going to die of laughter if they give Jacob shades. Or really anyone else. But somehow I expect they will.

Alt. Outfit wishlist:

Jacob - IDK. Just no shades.

Miranda - Something that is not as ridiculous as her default outfit. Would really like armor.

Mordin - Can't really think of anything in particular, but I'm looking forward to what Bioware cooks up.

Garrus - Would have liked more blue on his DLC outfit.

Jack - Get rid of the shades.

Grunt - Maybe different coloration to remind me of Wrex ;_;

Tali - Ammo pouches and other tactical combat equipment. Perhaps the return of the knife from ME1 if it's not already there.

Samara - Don't know if it's an Asari thing, but that much skin isn't what I think of when I think of stoic warrior monks. They've got the superhero look down, but more practical armor would be great.

Thane - Get rid of the shades. Other than that, nothing in particular.

Zaeed & Kasumi - Haven't thought of anything.

Another thing I've been thinking of is unique weaponry or upgrades for all squad mates. We've already got some of this in ME2 - like the Widow for Legion. Give Jack a shotgun that does extra damage to organics, Tali one against synthetics. Etc.

Anyway, I don't know if the Asari have the same stigma against the showing of body parts that humans do.

Maybe they don't. Who knows.

I find the fact that Samara shows more skin than the much more sexual Morinth ironic. Either way, I would appreciate more something more conservative with Samara. I think that would do her character more justice.

EDIT: No pun intended.

Yeah, guess the artist didn't know the Asari have pits instead of external ears.  It was a random request I asked for, on /co/ - Comics & Cartoons, on 4chan.

Also, I just realized Ana Kravinoff (Lady Kraven) looks a bit like Jack:

Hi everyone!

Haven't posted on this thread in a few months I think it's been so I figured I'd let you all know that I still got the Jack support going! I keep meaning to replay through the two games but haven't found the time.

Keep it up Jackolytes! :)

If you could say one thing to Jack, that wouldn't reveal to her any meta-knowledge she couldn't possibly know herself through in-game events, and that couldn't be perceived as creepy, what would you say to her?
