Oh, no. She does have a big ass. The game forces it's players to acknowledge this. It's inescapable.

Yes, they have lots of scenes designed to show case it. So don't worry. :)

Well, you know my standpoint on Jack and the L-word (not that one, the other one)... I think she'd need to get used to it, what it meant coming from Shepard, and what it means in the world outside the one where Jack is the biggest, baddest caged animal on the block that no-one lives to cross a second time. It's a big scary word, that Jack's bound to relate to lies (which at first would make it unbelieveable, something she'd brush off) and loss (which would then just make her scared of either screwing it up herself or having circumstance take it away from her... if you don't say it, it can't happen)There's little bits of Jack in all of us here, I reckon; it's probably why we adore the character so much... and there's things that the character endured that have real-life parallels that I've had some experience with (like going through a lot of surgery in childhood and making some not-so-legally-smart lifestyle choices in early adulthood being just a couple). I think we all project onto Jack a little, and I'm certainly 101% guilty of it in my 'readings' of Jack. So, utterly bias as it maybe, I think once she got used to it, she'd love hearing it. Yeah, it's mushy, bite me - mushy is good sometimes. Just not when anyone else was around... she has a rep to think of, y'know? ;)

One question to ask Jack as Shepard... ok...

Later, in Shepard's Cabin...

Shepard and Jack are lying in bed. Both are naked; Jack on her chest, Shepard propping himself up at her side. He gently traces the lines of her many tattoos with the tip of a finger. Jack smiles, eyes closes, and arches her back at his touch. His hand eventually finds the back of her neck and traces the angriest of scars on her body.

Shep: How did this one happen?

I know, it's nothing earth-shattering, but I would want to know. Hell, I'd want to know about all of them once she was ready to tell that story, if she was ever ready.

Well, I just had a look, and it's there. Try viewing all entries and scrolling down. It's before Mallrats and after Cutscene Power FTW.

In fact, here it is - social.bioware.com/566323/blog/3970/

I'd like to hear it myself.  If for no other reason than the irony of the person least likely to say it on first glance saying it.  I likes me irony thick.  Plus, everything Jack says is an evasion.  She never gives a straight answer to anything, always noncommittally skirting the issue of anything the conversation is about.  Whether she knows how to communicate what she's thinking or constantly leaving outs for herself with everything she says is up for debate, but still.

So I'd like to hear her say it.  After God knows how many years of lashing out from pants-pissing terror that the world's gonna get her again at every single emotional impulse that isn't destructive, saying those three words is a great way to prove thats he isn't scared anymore.  At least to herself.  I'd like to know I did something, as opposed to putting a band-aid on a bundle of violent neuroses.

Jack's smart, I wouldn't be surprised if she reads Shepard and sees it coming, and tries to cut him off.

Shep: Hey Jack, you know...
Jack: Don't say it.
S: Don't say what?
J: You know what. Don't say it.
S: That I...
J: Shepard I swear I'll break every done in your body!
S: Love you?
J: .... f**er

Then she gives you the "s**t" as you're walking away from her as she does earlier in the romance. (She'd love it though)

She might cut you off with a kiss before the L word comes outta your mouth.

Too late, I saw it :P

Also, yes, her cutting Shepard off with a kiss would be adorable. She'd then either have to pounce on him and the camera would have to cut away, or she'd have to punch him (playfully-ish) and run away to her hidey-hole.

But Tali already has a monopoly on the pounce.  The punch would be more adorable.  Shepard has to pursue her, once again :)

I forgot how awesome Jack is until I just played through again this week. It's great how much she actually does open up, even to a FemShep if you just talk to her. Considering what she's been through, I think that's quite a feat for her.

I hope since her biotics were made a big deal, that she'll be in ME 3 as it looks like they are preparing to kick some tail towards the end of ME 2. I am very much looking forward to that!! :D

Yeah... we can let Tali keep the pounce... I like the idea that the shy, sweet girl can hide within her a raging bedroom-tiger (it's usually the case in reality, too). We already know Jack wears that badge on her sleeve (if she had sleeves)... if it happens in a public place, I think she should scowl as Shep begins his "I lo - ", then cut him off with a fairly solid punch to the shoulder. Shepard will look all confused for a second, then Jack will break out the smile, maybe a swift little wink, and just say one thing, very quietly, "Later."

Shepard then spends the rest of the mission running around in a very awkward fashion ;)

I think Jack would be the first to say it. After her paragon romance scene, I think she wants to say it. In her head I'm sure she's battling with herself about it. Part of her says she loves Shepard, and the other part is trying to shut the other up. Normally it would seem early to be throwing around the word "love", but nothing about Shepard's and Jack's relationship is normal. So considering everything that Shepard has done for Jack when everyone throughout her past has neglected and exploited her, I wouldn't be surprised if Jack does love Shepard and if she ends up telling him so in ME3.

Plus no woman can resist the power of Shepard's mojo :P.

Haha . So much for subtle sexualization right? They just flat out fill half the screen with ****** and ass.

Edit: Oh and I love the name of the screenshots. "Miri ass dialogue", and "Jack boob talk", lol.

Dawwww.  :)  Of course the people who like the tattooed chick who curses like a sailor, also like the mushy stuff.  And no, I don't mean anything by that, other than that the apparent incongruity is striking.

I toyed with the idea that Jack would say it first, because it kind of turns people's expectations on its head. But in the end, I think it's just so much a big step for someone who is already taking steps she'd never thought she'd take. She'd eventually say it, but probably not first. I could see Shepard saying it a dozen times over with Jack coming up with her different variations of both acknowledging it and returning the sentiment without actually saying it herself. But Shepard will get her to say it in the end. I can seem him even making a game of it, seeing where he can get Jack to slip up.

If nothing else, she'll probably say it if Shepard goes once more into the breach and she's unable to follow.

And Garrus has reach. Sorry, I could not resist :-P
Now I should ban myself for spam.

Ok, let's go back on topic. I've recently seen a (very depressing) vid on youtube with all the companions deaths of a disastrous ME2 suicide mission (ending with Shepard's death as well). I've noticed that Jack gets blasted by an exploding console just like Pressly and any other Expendable Ensigh of Star Wars. But my question is... WHAT THE F- WAS SHE DOING THERE? If you look closely, you can see she's on the main bridge, around the table with the holographic Normandy/Galaxy Map. I thought she rarely wend out of her hiding hole down the stairs.

Probably writing a heartfelt love letter to Shepard.
