You mean distant second place? Grunt. Blur did great with the facial animation in that one, it was the meat and potatoes of that trailer.

I would say it's worth it, yes. Of course, like yorkj86 said, we're biased.

Different romances appeal to different people for different reasons, however, so you'll probably have to decide for yourself if it's worth it or not.

Remember that idiot that you get to kill or spare in the Teltin facility, during Jack's loyalty mission? If you were as unfortunate as me and did not have enough renegade points to persuade Jack to kill him (and did not have the heart to do the renegade interruption and kill him yourself) do you think we'll meet him again in ME3? Or we'll get some e-mail? Or will he build an army of biotic children to take over the world?

I wouldn't think so, but I guess if Rana can outrun a nuke, so can Aresh.

While it removes room for development along that line, I think it's more poigniant that Aresh goes out with the bomb. The facility had taken away almost all of what made him him, so without it there's little to him. It's only fitting he earns some peace. It's fatalistic, I know, but Jack finds her peace on the Normandy, Aresh finds his when the facility is erased along with him.

Are you sayig that Aresh was killed by the explosion, aren't you? Even if it would be realistic if he did so, it means that the choice of letting Jack kill him or not is pointless. Ok, deciding not to kill him may make things different for Jack's character developement, but in the end Aresh dies no matter what.

I wouldn't call him an idiot, as he had been subject to things close to if not just as bad as Jack. And as a result, he was trapped in his past/unstable/somewhat nutjobish.

Also he may have made it out before the nuke, like dominus said if Rana can make it, he could make it.

I agree with Mondo that Aresh would more likely find the peace he was seeking by dying in the blast. It's a permanent kind of peace, but peace nonetheless. I'd like to think he didn't escape the blast even if you let him go, but Rana Thanoptis proves otherwise. Guess he could get into whatever transport that brought him there and gun it.

Or if he really wanted to die in the blast, he could just hide somewhere else when Jack told him to get out of there.

I'd be disappointed if there's a followup with Aresh in the third game if you let him go. Some stories just don't need a followup like that.
