Wonder why there wasn't an option to kill her when you found her on Korlus.JohnnyDollar wrote...
Aresh's story is tragic similar to Jack's. Rana on the other hand, is unethical at best, and deserves no sympathy. She seems to have a diabolical streak in her. I think those who let her live should pay a negative consequence for it. I doubt that will happen though of course.

I don't know, I found that a little bit surprising myself. One of the squadmates will make a comment about giving her too many chances, or something to that effect.Pacifien wrote...

"someone."
I really like that line. It's the perfect thing for her to say in that situation. You can tell it's so hard for her to admit that she needs someone, and she does admit it without completely coming out and saying so, which keeps her in character. Great writing.

This. Rana always ticked me off, how she was shocked that I wouldn't just let her leave virmire.JohnnyDollar wrote...

Lots of silliness going on in that thread, some of it serious. Also, lots of implicit claims that the longer Jack's hair is, the more Shepard loves her, and the more she feels loved.

I read one post that basically said that if Jack was romanced in ME2, then she should have longer hair in ME3 to show her sensitive side.<_<
Jack is like Samson from the book of Judges in the Old Testament. Samson had long hair and that was his strength. Once his hair was cut then he lost his strength. Jack's biotic power lies in her having a shaved head. If Jack grows her hair long then she will lose her biotic power.

There we go. That ends the debate right there.

If you judge a book by its cover, or you buy into mass-media concepts of femininity and beauty, well, you're under 14 or you're a f*cking boob. Jack does not need to change to prove anything. If she does, it's because the creators plucked the strings, and it makes zero commentary on her emotional and mental state, nor will it about her femininity.
Women need long hair to be sensitive... what decade is this?

Helloooooooo.
Been lurking a few pages. Some good reading. I too have wondered what kind of changes to expect from not only whether or not you romanced a character, but whether you were paragon or renegade. I think everyone knows there isn't going to be a real change, but speculating is half the fun. I wonder how non-imports will engage in the continued characters and romances, possibly lots of dead-end convos.
Jack growing hair to show her sensitive side, that's just good ol' humor right there
I've been meaning to try Jack's romance, hers is the only one I haven't spoiled from youtube, so the tension is building. The thought of my paragon Shep and Jack makes me a bit nervous tbh

This works towards our advantage. Since the character's won't be influenced by Shepard in game as much as you think, it fits Jack more perfectly since she herself is never going to change. For the better. I'd say Jack and Samara are the only characters that scare me, I prefer to keep it that way.

I remember a lot of people wanted her to put on a sweater right after the game was released. I was kinda neutral about her. Not attracted to the character at all at first. It wasn't until I took the time and explored her character that I really started to appreciate it.
Didn't realize what it was about the default look that was appealing until someone on here mentioned "to show off the tats". Well I'll be damned, it was as simple as that.

I've seen horrors, though, like a tattoo-less mod. Really? No tattoos? She'd be naked

Yeah in a way. Like with Samara, when I talk to them, they have this aura about them. They're the only characters I think that could kill Shepard besides maybe Grunt. I imagined Jack to be unstable, though, but instead she was calm and collected downstairs. That made me more intrigued.
On top of that, I'm a paragon at heart who always asks how you're doing. And..well..
