Yeah it's understandable. After all she does tell you she can hold it. At least for ME3 I'll know to never to listen to her .

Fact of the matter is this: For that visceral first playthrough, if it's rigged in a way that the LI has to die...

I really hope that doesn't happen. I would be very dissapointed with BioWare if that happens. Of course if you can keep them and yourself alive by making the correct decisions, then I'll be fine with that. But please nothing like DA:O where if you romance Allistair he either dies in the end or you allow the birth of the anti-christ. But I think the "perfect" ending should be difficult to achieve.

@Collider glad you feel that way. I used to visit the other character threads alot, but I prefer the Jack thread as the people here are less... creepy & obsessive "passionate" than others.

If you bring Tali and Jack along for the "Crime in Progress" sidequest in the Citadel, Jack's response to the volus is "just kick his ass," which I thought was a nice touch.

On that note, I was wondering what, among Jack fans (of this thread) what their favorite Jack quote is.

I am not sure if you've seen this all already, but the Mass Effect wiki has recently started making notes of where squad mates make unique comments during missions and elsewhere.

There's not much right now as they've just started, but you may be able to find some Jack dialog there that you may missed. There's some interaction between Samara, Grunt, and Garrus + Jack in that link.

First playthrough, everything Jack said put me into fits of laughter. In real life, I can't stand people who are as rude and in-your-face as Jack is, but I loved her character just for that reason. Strange, I know.

Still, I think my all time favorite line is "So **** you. And thanks for asking." Gets me every time.

Ha yeah that line cracks me up. One of my favorite lines of her's is during the disabled Collector ship mission where she says, "No ****. I'm not guna let them turn me into some ****ed up bug thing." When I first heard Shepard say they have to stop the collectors even though they were protheans, I too thought, "Well no ****."

Haha yeah, that was great. Jacob's like, "No! Bad dog!" And Jack gives him that innocent look. If you bring Samara with you and initiate that conversaton, Samara says something like, "If I knew you were planning something criminal, I may have to stop you." And Jack says, "That would be interesting..."

You're not allowed to blame me for being easily offended by anti-Miranda talk, I'm delusional and disturbed in my mind.

I've heard so much Miranda bashing in other places and stuff I've gone mad and I see it everywhere.

My brain broke and now my thought fluids are leaking and I dribble down my shirt and people stare at me. I try to clean it up but more comes out and I cry. People stare harder. I jump at small noises and scream at inanimate objects in wild fits of schizophrenia.
