Thanks. Average Gatsby has actually returned, I could try contacting him on youtube if enough people want him to update the OP.
I remember a discussion about that, many pages ago. I think we should decide what to add on the first page together, if Average Gatsby's willing to update.

Agreed. Though I wasnt around for that discussion, I haven't been to this thread in a while. A regular poster here should gather up the collection of posts, sigs, pics and such and create the desired OP, so Gatsby only has to copy and paste.Epantiras wrote...

I've never been keen on the extensive OPs. More information over many different concepts in one post is simply clutter in my mind. Ideally, there'd be a post for banners, a separate post for fanfic, a separate post for fanart, a separate post for...whatever. If someone wanted a banner, you could direct them to a post where they didn't have to wade through several links of other things before getting to their intended target.
Plus, I like the appeal that the Jack thread keeps it simple.

1) Football (soccer) fan?
2) Do you think Jack would use the vuvuzela if Miranda demonstrated a strong distaste for it?
3) Do you think Jack uses her biotics for very minor things on a regular basis, like picking up the remote across the room if she's on the couch?
4) When the Hammerhead is bouncing ridiculously across every surface, do you imagine it's because Jack is at the wheel?
5) What do you think a (killing-free) night out between Jack and Shepard would be like?
6) Do you think Jack would like a good night spilling drinks with others on the Citadel?
7) What sort of city on Earth today do you think would be Jack's kind of place?
8) Could you picture Jack having children?
9) Do you think there's anything to Jack's neural degeneration?
10) Jack: burns bright, dies young?

I can imagine Jack's rather prominent scar on her neck was some back alley surgical job to remove an implanted shock collar device.Nightwriter wrote...
She said they shocked the kids when they resisted fighting the other children. I wouldn't be surprised if they had something like permanent shock collars on the kids to keep that kind of thing from happening.
Damn. That's probably exactly what happened. Back-alley surgical removal of her shock collar/locator.

10) Jack: burns bright, dies young?
1) Rugby
2) Jack would put a sound file of vuvuzelas playing, on infinite loop, on Miranda's computer, and then lock the console
3) I think she probably does. Would she stop, though, if the effects of her neural degeneration became more serious?
4) It's Jack fighting with Shepard for the wheel
5) I think Jack would prefer some cheap, sh***y food to a meal at a fancy-pants restaurant. I think she would prefer a night of sneaking in to places she shouldn't be, to sitting in a movie theater.
6) I think Jack would drink just a little. She would primarily be there to watch the drunk antics, though, so she can have dirt on them
7) NYC. East Village, at night. She'd fit right in
8) I can. A while ago, Mondo said it very well - Jack would be a good mother because she would want to give her child everything Cerberus denied her when she was a child. Though it shouldn't be her sole reason for having a child, being a good mother would be the ultimate way for her to give the middle finger to Cerberus
9) I hope not. It would be so tragic for Jack to start experiencing Alzheimer's-like symptoms half-way through her life
10) Depends upon her perspective, and what/who she's come to live with

ha! just did yours for Kaidan....
1) Football (soccer) fan?
=> boxing and stuff like that
2) Do you think Jack would use the vuvuzela if Miranda demonstrated a strong distaste for it?
=> definitely. I think she would use whatever to ****** Miranda off
3) Do you think Jack uses her biotics for very minor things on a regular basis, like picking up the remote across the room if she's on the couch?
=> no. I don't think she is that type of girl. She likes to show off her skills to impress people and to kick asses not to be lazy.
4) When the Hammerhead is bouncing ridiculously across every surface, do you imagine it's because Jack is at the wheel?
=> no lol
5) What do you think a (killing-free) night out between Jack and Shepard would be like?
=> just plain boring....
6) Do you think Jack would like a good night spilling drinks with others on the Citadel?
=> i dont think so. I don't really see her around other people.
7) What sort of city on Earth today do you think would be Jack's kind of place?
=> anything with dirty dangerous slums....
8) Could you picture Jack having children?
=> no. I don't think she would be able to handle that. Unless MaleShep makes her really overcome her past and embrace all the warmth the feeling of love can give. All in all I say, she would be too overwhelmed by all these emotions and not know how to handle it.
9) Do you think there's anything to Jack's neural degeneration?
=> maybe some sort of human evolution? just a plain guess...
10) Jack: burns bright, dies young?
=> hopefully not! although I do believe she will die in battle eventually. I don't really picture her as an old lady.

Playing it maybe. I don't think she could stand watching the action without joining in. Oh, she'd probably cheat, too, giving every kick and headbutt of the ball a biotic push.
2) Do you think Jack would use the vuvuzela if Miranda demonstrated a strong distaste for it?
Damn holographic panels. I was going to go with york's idea and then say she'd then superglue the power button and keyboard so that Miranda couldn't even turn it off or reprogram it.
3) Do you think Jack uses her biotics for very minor things on a regular basis, like picking up the remote across the room if she's on the couch?
I actually don't know.
4) When the Hammerhead is bouncing ridiculously across every surface, do you imagine it's because Jack is at the wheel?
So in my makeshift story about how the Overlord mission plays out, I have Shepard originally taking the shuttle to Hermes station, but learning he can't take the shuttle to Vulcan station because it's only accessed through a series of caverns. In spite of what we see in the game, I think the Hammerhead is quite a bit slimmer than the shuttle. So Shepard calls the Normandy for the Hammerhead delivery, and Jack is the one who delivers it, much to Miranda's chagrin.
5) What do you think a (killing-free) night out between Jack and Shepard would be like?
Again, I like york's idea of sneaking around. I used to sneak around empty warehouses and construction sites. I can see Jack doing the same.
6) Do you think Jack would like a good night spilling drinks with others on the Citadel?
I think Jack is like my mother, a very petite woman who can outdrink hardened military veterans. Get in drinking contests, see the men fall over hopelessly drunk while she declares victory.
7) What sort of city on Earth today do you think would be Jack's kind of place?
I haven't been around the world enough to probably answer this one accurately enough, but Hong Kong sounds right up her alley. Compact. Lots of people. Lots of money. Keeps working into the middle of the night.
8) Could you picture Jack having children?
I can see Jack playing mentor to other problem children, but not having her own.
9) Do you think there's anything to Jack's neural degeneration?
Not entirely sure. I started thinking that this neural degeneration would actually affect all biotics to some degree, with the power of her own biotics meaning she was suffering the degeneration at an accelerated rate. Whether that's going to be a problem or not, I'd lean toward not because of the next question.
10) Jack: burns bright, dies young?
Yep. I think Shepard does, too, though.

9) Do you think there's anything to Jack's neural degeneration?
10) Jack: burns bright, dies young?
1) I think she'd probably watch all these guys running around and think "What is the f*cking point of this sh*t? Can't they get some robots to do it?" And then go looking for the beer tent.
2) Jack would wait until Miranda fell asleep, hack the lock on her room door, sneak in, then blow it in her ear. Then run off laughing. She'd probably only stop after a couple of nights of it (and Shepard telling her to cut that sh*t out).
3) I think she would, and she wouldn't. Sometimes, without thinking, maybe she'd just reach for something with her mind, but on the other hand, she'd think about all the times the same thing had been done in her childhood as training and not want to give them the satisfaction of being what they wanted her to be.
4) I think she's probably a fairly good pilot... the time she's spent with various criminal groups, pirate clans, etc. I think it'd be safe to assume she can fly to a decent level.
5) I think it'd involve something along the lines of 1) Bar 2) Burgers 3) Another Bar 4) Bedroom
6) I think Jack drinks like Marion Ravenwood; she can put men three times her size under tables, and still throw a good punch afterwards. So she'd drink, and watch everyone else get wasted, and then drink what was left of their drinks.
7) I think any kind of multicultural melting-pot of a city would suit her, but she does strike me as the type who takes a while to come out of her quiet moody corner of the bar to talk to other regulars. She'd have to learn to trust the place and its people first.
8) I can, but at the same time I can see it utterly overwhelming her to begin with. She'd be terrified; it'd all be too real for her to cope with. I think it'd have to be something she'd fight with to begin with. She'd want out, any way possible. And it wouldn't just be fear of her own reaction to it all, but fear for this little life she was bringing into a universe she knows is extremely unpleasant to a huge degree. Oh, she'd go to pieces, and she'd worry she was doing anything right, and she'd think the kid would be better off without her... but once she had it... I think she'd fall right into being a mother. Perhaps a scarily over-protective one for a while, but I think it'd come to her in time.
9) We can say all we like about this one, but for someone whose neural pathways are supposed to be coming apart, why does she just get stronger? Kaidan said something about the degeneration effecting all human biotics eventually, so maybe one day, but not for now. Jack's earned some time living.
10) Potentially, but still, she's earned some respite from the universe's cold-shoulder. Plus if she's with Shepard, I think she'd want to embrace life all the more... that nihilistic edge would wear down a lot.

10) Jack: burns bright, dies young?
1) Water Polo.
2) I think Jack would use it to hit Miranda.
3) I think Jack is cocky about her biotics so she might do it just to show others that she can.
4) Jack and Miranda are having a biotic catfight over Shepard.
5) A strip club... she would make Shepard strip for her.
6) She would most definitely try. Grunt would probably drink 20 of her under the table but she would still give it her best shot... because she isn't a ****.
7) 1980's Los Angeles or possibly Berlin.
8) Can biotic human women have children? I always thought their fast metabolisms would make it almost impossible.
9) Nope. I think it is the writers trying to show something "interesting" about Jack.
10) Burns bright!

I don't see why human biotic women couldn't have children. They'd just be eating for three, instead of the normal two, or four, if the child inherits some biotic abilities. The dangers would be mutations of the fetus, and cancer.
I don't thinkt there would be anything genticaly wrong... I'm saying that they might not be able to supply ample nutrients for a growing fetus (since using biotics can be so draining). I would also be concerned with a miscarriage because of the stress biotics put on the body.
