I have to say Jack's romance is one of the more realistic ones. They sorta just lie there, and I'm cool with that. And even after the romance subplot she's still annoyed by Shepard's presence. Lolz

EDIT Jack looks great looks great without hair but it would be interesting to see her with some kind of crazy hairdo (not talkin lady gaga style or anything... )

I did actually "dawwww" when Miranda is smiling, with tears in her eyes, at the end of ther loyalty mission.

That's why that visor is a crime against (virtual) humanity!

Joking aside, in that scene it looks as if Jack cast her "badass b*tch" mask away for a second and you could see the scared girl beneath. She even states "I feel like I'm a litlle scared girl again" in game, just to make it clear.

Actually she says, "I'm a dangerous ****, but then I'm a little girl again."

Maybe posting it each time someone brings the hair topic up is a bad idea, the thread could be closed because of spam... but it's damn funny !!!

No, I think it's a great idea . If this thread deserved to be closed for occasionally posting the same picture about Jack with hair, then the Tali thread wouldn't have made it past 10 pages.

I don't like the idea when someone relatively new appears on the thread to discuss Jack (in a positive light no less), that they're instantly treated as if they broached the most taboo of subjects. That kind of reaction is why I don't frequent other threads.

I can imagine that it would steam Miranda's buns (derp) to know that Jack has the Commander's special permission to visit his quarters, even if only outside of normal operational hours.

Outside Shepard's Cabin...


Miranda steps out of the elevator, datapad in hand, and rings the attention-chimes on the holopad for Shepard's cabin. She pauses, when no answer comes she rings the chimes again.

Miranda: (irritated) Come on, Shepard... you shut off comms, you don't answer your door...

Shepard's door hisses open, but Miranda is destracted by something on the datapad for a moment.

Miranda: About damn time, Shepard. We have a -

Jack: Problem?

Miranda: Oh. What are you doing here?

Jack: (smirking) Kinda obvious, isn't it?

Miranda: Where's the Commander?

Jack: Asleep. And no, you're not waking him. In case you didn't notice, he's had a f*ckin' hard day at the office.

Miranda: This is important! He has to see -

Jack snatches the datapad off Miranda and looks at it.

Jack: So half the ship's systems are fried. Tell him something he doesn't already know.

Miranda: (exhasperated) We no longer have the backing of Cerberus, Jack. Repairing even a third of this damage is going to be beyond our means.

Jack: Don't worry about it. He'll be back on duty in four hours, it'll keep. We're heading for the Citadel aren't we? Shepard has friends there. He can pull some strings.

Miranda: This isn't going to solve -

Jack: Is waking him up going to solve it either?

Miranda: ...

Jack: Didn't think so. Goodnight, Precious.

Miranda grimaces and turns to leave. She stops just before she gets in the lift.

Miranda: Is this going to be a regular thing? You up here with him?

Jack: You got a problem with that?

Miranda: No... I just want to blind myself now in case you answer his door naked again.

Miranda steps into the lift and has just enough time before the door closes to turn and stare daggers at Jack. Jack just chuckles and blows Miranda a kiss.

I have a question. If you charm or intimidate during the Jack & Miranda fight, Jack expresses her desire to...tear Miranda apart after the suicide mission. Do you think that is that a genuine threat? Or simply Jack being angry (or something else)? How would you feel if Jack did indeed, attack Miranda after the suicide mission?

At the time I believe it was a genuine threat, and depending on how your game played out it still may be. Paragon romanced, I think she might be in a happy enough place to let it slide though. Learned to move on from her past and all, and besides, if you told TIM to get bent Miranda might be more open to admitting Jack was treated extremely poorly by Cerberus. (Understatement much?)
