I like Jack's pull biotic move the most. Warp ammo is also great.

"Fly ****!!"
She definitely has some fun combat lines.

That she does. She has a unique brand of humor not really present in the other squad mates.

I think originaly the squadmates had access to more weapons... and definitely more abilities.

Link... skip to 4:39 and look at the powers on the power wheel for Jacob and Miranda.

Damn, that's interesting. Immunity used to be in ME2, Jacob used to have warp, and Miranda had crush which I really wish was in the final game because it sounds awesome. I would have liked more abilities for each squadmate in ME2, but oh well.

I always get that twinge of nostalgia when Jack declares "I will destroy you!" :P

Actually, think Courtney Taylor and Steve Blum had to have had a blast recording their respective characters' combat lines. Who else seems to be having that much fun killing? ... Mordin actually. Kasumi's combat lines are nice, too. But, you know, Jack and Grunt really put that extra feeling behind it like they want to know they have just annihilated you. Annihilated you to death.

I don't. Not in the same way, anyway. Doing the sidequests in ME1 really hammered the fact that human enemies in that game only have 3 lines to say, into your brain.

"I WILL DESTROY YOU!"
"HOLD ON!" <----???? For what
"ENEMIES EVERYWHERE!" <--3 people makes "enemies everywhere?"
"GO GO GO!"

At first I thought it was Kaidan saying these things. Especially the "enemies everywhere" one.

I remember reading a livejournal entry by Patrick Weekes where he looked back on these battle quotes and wondered how the heck they overlooked it.

Jack with a SMG would make her look like the punk thugs in APB.  Give her a bandana to wear over her face and it would complete the look (not that I think Jack's face should be obscured from vision).  Also, it would be plain awesome to see Jack with an SMG in each hand.

I've given Jack the SMG the last two games, and it's worked out pretty well.

Image IPBCrap! I like some things about that better than the fina game!

Like that you could use biotics on enemies without having to lower  them down to health and the fact that the screen justs turns red instead of those stupid red veins when close to death...Image IPB

So if you hover behind Joker long enough, he starts spouting random stuff from commands about the Normandy's performance to watching porn. Which, when all conversation trees are over, made for something new at least. And if you stand around anywhere from three seconds to an eternity next to Legion, he'll do the robot.

Made me wonder what they could have done with Jack if you stood around long enough. I could imagine her suddenly lying back on her bed, staring at the ceiling. Tapping her foot. Make a snide comment directed at Shepard that for as big and empty the Normandy happens to be, she's getting an awful lot of thru-traffic through her claimed area of the ship. Creating a biotic bouncey ball that she would throw against the opposite wall and catch.

:lol:Hell, he probably has EDI feeding him video from all over the ship.  He's got footage of Kelly and her escapades, Jacob and Miranda gettin busy.  He's probably the only one on board that knows what Tali looks like under that suit.  ^_^

I suspect as soon as EDI complained about grease on her bridge cams, it became the latest fad all over the ship.

Ahh I wish every squadmate had that kind of "standby" animations. I've never seen Legion doing the robot in-game, only in videos on youtyube - which is sad, because easter eggs should be more accessible.

So.... do you think Jack enjoys a well-cooked meal or do you think she didn't care what Gardner cooked up? What makes Jack pause for a moment so she can appreciate its craft and beauty? Standing around Rodam Expeditions looking at a shotgun wondering how she can nick it? Standing next to the Krogan statue on the Presidium and saying she's not much for art, but that statue captures the soul of a Krogan? Looking at the latest ship models and talking about whether their element zero engine cores get better performance than others?

Maybe it's because I like cars, but I do always lean toward Jack appreciating a fine hotrod of a ship.

I stood next to Legion for ten minutes waiting for him to do that stupid dance. Gave up, but then another time I walked into the AI Core and within five seconds, he was dancing. I mean, come on! Is he on some thirty minute rotation for that thing?!

I think Jack would appreciate a good quality meal, but considering the life she's led, she'd be happy with much less. She'd probably eat anything if the needs arose. I would think though that someone taking her out for dinner or cooking for her would feel like a treat; something she didn't have to steal, didn't have to work for, and something better than she'd normally get by on. I think she'd be an expensive date - she'd probably want to try everything on the menu :D

I think Jack certainly has an artistic bent to her - look at the ink. I think though that more formal art would dull, impersonal. She'd check out someone's tattoos from across a bar, but a big statue would more often than not a big ol' chunk of stone. Fine-crafted devices, sure, she can appreciate those from a professional standpoint I'd reckon... this gun's better than that gun because it has 20% more range without energy loss, this shuttle is more manouverable than that shuttle... and yeah, I'll put money on her always thinking of a way to get it without paying ^_^

Yeah she's gotta have a thing for certain kinds of art, considering all the tattoos she has. Statues? Not so much. But I think she would like abstract and unorthodox paintings.

If you're right, I hope she's not as artsy-fartsy as Morinth, though.  I bet Jack would view all art with detached amusement, but with some respect.

She'd rush over to the Locust, pick it up, and point it at the priceless works of art around the room while appraising their worth and giving her opinion about them.

Meanwhile, inside Donovan Hock's Vault...

Jack: (unimpressed) Would you look at all this sh*t?

Shep: Some of this sh*t is worth millions, Jack...

Jack: It's still sh*t. Too big to steal, worthless on the open market... well, ok, this isn't too bad.

Shep: That's a gun, Jack.

Jack: Exactly.

Jack slams a clip into the Locust, arms it, and sprays the three nearest works of art.

Jack:
Wonder if he's got a flame-thrower somewhere in this dump...

Kasumi's DLC had such potential to be the balls out fun DLC for squadmates. I can almost hear Shepard berating Garrus for shattering all the statues instead of aiming for the enemy and him saying "Don't ruin my fun, Shepard." Grunt picking up some finger food and staring at it, wondering if that was some human's idea of a joke. Miranda actually needing to think fast as one of her contacts recognize her at the party.

Though I have no idea how Jack would have done at the party itself.

I still appreciate what they did in regards to Kasumi's comments on the Normandy about the other squad mates though. It's a step in the right direction.
