Talking about the belt bra shield generator... well if it were true, that would explain why she keeps on wearing that stuff even with her DLC outfit (which, btw, does really have glowing things on the back)

I'm not sure how the players would react if Jack ran around totally topless.^_^

That's what I'm saying.  She could have bought/stolen a piece of armor with shield generators, and then fashioned that chafing-inducing belt-bra we see her wearing from the material, or she could have bought/stolen some shield generators, and then just attached them to the piece of "clothing".

And if some 13-year-old drools over Jack and then comes here, we'd probably be able to tell that her ta-tas are his only reason for liking her character.

Liquid Grape's status report makes me think of someone who has gotten extremely frustrated about something, enough to quit it altogether. I sent him a PM to say he'd be missed at least if that were the case.

But on another note, I think if a mother is going to have an issue with a completely topless Jack, the belt strap model can't be that much of an improvement. ;)

That's one thing I'll never understand though... how (when it comes to movies, videogames, whatever entertainment medium - as in not reality) a parent can not be het up about violence, but go all rabid about boobs. Blowing some poor mook's head off is all well and good, but if little Johnny sees two of those things that fed him when he was a newborn - he's going to become a sick and twisted pervert! :blink:

Seriously, the mind f*cking boggles at some people... they must all be signing their names with crayons, I swear.

That's a decent point.  You could, however, attribute it to a plot-hole and/or developer laziness.  She should have come out of cryo with a standard-issue shirt or full prison suit, to keep her warm, seeing as how she was in cryo, if that's how it works.  Instead, she came out quite nipply, with a get-up like that.

If her shield generators aren't on her belt-bra, I wonder where she keeps them on her person.  In the seat of her pants, to keep her buns warm?

I think we're thinking too much.

I will hold this is a possible reason why in some cultures sexuality is more stigmatized than violence - violence is a part of human nature, but most people are not violent and - therefore it may be seen as a less pertinent issue. Again - varies from culture to culture, memetics and all that.

I wonder if Jack will keep her belt bra in ME3. Maybe if she was unloyal or taken down the wrong path. I believe the reasoning behind her loyalty outfit is to show progression from her antisocial hate-filled attitude. The belt bra is an intimidating mechanism. And after you do her loyalty mission she feels less inclined to put on this facade, so she covers up a bit. So I think it would make sense that the least amount of clothing she would wear in ME3 is her loyalty outfit, after having spent so much time with everyone on the Normandy and becoming more comfortable with them.

That's why I like her appearance pack outfit, something that resembles normal clothing but still shows off her tattoos. (If only it showed off her eyes as well...) So something more like that for ME3. Plus, you know, she lets her hair grow ou--ouch! hey! quit it! not the face!

Her actually wearing clothes is the reason why I bought the alt. outfit pack. Don't really care about the hair, although I'd like for her to keep it as is. It's unique. But then in my mind I envision her with a hair style that would compliment her face and I have doubts... :(

Oh, dear, I just pictured Jack stumbling around, trying to get used to wearing heels. It's not like she's had room for form-over-function vanity in her life (apart from the belt-bra, of course).  Good excuse for her to go talk with Samara, though.  That woman is the master of heels.

Great picture, axl.   I can't wait to see the final product.  I can imagine Shepard's face at seeing Jack wearing that.  :o
