My head is shaved.... I get it cut at #2 every couple of weeks.
That's not shaved! Running the clippers over with no guide - 0-ing it - that's shaving your head!
Well you all went giddy while I slept again, so I'll just say to catch up that any movie where the ultimate evil is stopped by a love ray gets some points for just having the balls to do it (and in case you didn't notice, it did have a hot chick with a shaved head in a see-thu miniskirt in it blowing away cops ["Tell Aknot Plan A flopped, we're going to Plan B"] so that's worth something else) and while Milla may have her detractors here, hell, I'm not going to turn my nose up at eye candy like that, and if you can you've got better self-control than me. Kudos. You're a saint :innocent: Me? Totally opposite
And as for mohawk-Jack... it's almost cliche putting that hairstyle on Jack. Not quite, but nearly. Plus unless it's made from aerospace metals and inplanted into her skull or it has a perma-biotic shield... trust me when I say they're impractical hairstyles. Rain, wind, sudden movements, anything can kill a mohawk with any real height to it (and if you've had a decent mohawk - as in one over about six inches tall - you'll know those little Taxi Driver stripes don't count). And the biggest one of all is gravity - it always wins. No exceptions.
Nice idea, but... nah, can't get behind that one.
Whatever you want ot call it... I look good with it. Besides.... putting it at 0 just means I get a sunburned head (don't want that now do we).

Wow that picture of Jack with her hand against the wall is amazing. But why are Jack and Shepard handcuffed in that one panel about their favorite LI?

Because she's a jailbird maybe - it's kinda appropriate. And because it's sweet. And somewhat kinky

So...Mondo had a mohawk at one point in her life?
One might have had a punk phase for a while...
Though I should add it wasn't really a mohawk, more of an Eraserhead tower with shaved sides.
I do think though we should try and steer this in though. The Jack thread is surviving all kinds of slings and arrows while the other fan support threads have been holed below the waterline and had to be refloated. Let TIM remind us all that the Woo is watching... loose lips and all that

So my family is all military. My uncle joins the Air Force as a doctor, and it's time for basic training. He gets his hair cut short. My father keeps telling him that it isn't short enough. Then my uncle gets to basic training and his superior says his hair isn't short enough and tells him to go to the local barber and ask for the Airborne cut.
So that's what my uncle does. "What kind of cut do you want?" "They told be to get the Airborne cut." "Airborne... ALL THE WAY!" And the barber shaved him bald.
On-topic discussion:
So the mohawk Jack reminded me of this unused Jack theme that Sam Hulick put on his youtube channel. If they had gone for a truly cyberpunk motif somewhere in the game (like maybe Illium - that's got Blade Runner all over it), then I could have seen them going a bit like that with Jack. Besides, since she doesn't require a suit against the vacuum of space <_<, her hair is going to stick up anyway.

I don't care what anyone says, I love that theme. It has an intimidating and doom-like sound to it. It makes Jack sound supremely powerful, like someone even Shepard should be afraid of.

It's a little disturbing, actually. It kind of reminds me of that made for T.V. movie "Mazes and Monsters", from the early 80's starring Tom Hanks. A group of teenagers play this RPG similar to D&D, and by the end of the movie, he actually thinks that the real world is this fantasy land that they role play in.
Some of the members on the forum here really need to get out and explore the world a little bit. We all know about people that are infatuated with movie actors, and other known celebrities. Some of them turn into stalkers, and really go over board. Yeah it's a shame, celebrities actually do exist in reality. Is there a difference? In the case of stalkers, yes, but in both cases, the individual deludes him/herself into an imaginary fantasy world.
I am not exaggerating, it's here on the forum. All one has to do is lurk in some of the other character threads, and read some of these posts. The information age is a technological leap of epic proportions, but as is the case with everything, it does have a downside. What easier way for one to communicate that lacks any social skills in the real world, then through their computer over the internet?
I would like to think that no one in the Jack thread has this problem, but I can't help but think that there is a portion of the members here in the forum that do have this problem. I am pretty sure that the frequenters to this thread realize that Jack isn't real, and she never will be, and I don't think anyone here is infatuated with the Jack character. I hope not anyway.
Am I just looking at this from a wrong perspective? *lites tobacco pipe*
And as far as Jack sporting a mowhawk, I think she would look ok with a mowhawk, but it's just cliche as hell.

I agree, JD. A waifu is not a healthy thing to have. A waifu fulfills a basic social need, though, and helps to stave off loneliness for people who are reclusive and who believe themselves to be socially incompetent. A waifu isn't a substitute for a real person, though. A waifu is idealized by the individual. The individual may rationalize that his waifu is so perfect, she wouldn't care about his slovenly state, or the individual may imagine himself as Shepard, in which case his waifu wouldn't be able to resist him, because Shepard has the Kirk Genes. In reality, though, if the individual's waifu were to pop in to reality in front of him, she would spend the first few moments of her time here trying to find a way to escape.

I know, and it's incredibly disturbing. I'm not going to mention specific groups or invdividuals, but there are definitely people out there who like their favorite character a bit too much. There's a fine line between liking and supporting a character, and being flat out obsessed with them. We all have our deep discussions about Jack here, but I think it's safe to say we're all fully aware she is a fictional character. When I see posts that crank the creepiness factor to eleven, I just want to say to them, "They're not real! They are a fictional character!" Those are people who would riot if their favorite character doesn't turn out as expected in ME3. If Jack doesn't turn out how we hope in ME3, sure we'll be bummed, but we'll easily move on with life.
