Well, I am not a representative from the Tali fans, I post where I please. I have already joined in several discussions on this thread, so I am no stranger here. I like to think of opinions as opinions, so I rarely work into a debate regarding Tali outside of a relevant thread or discussion.
As I already stated; I really like Jack.

I have a very definite persona, one of the reasons I am reserved as a guest on other character threads. You can ask other usuals on the Tali thread and they will easily tell you my usual attitude.JohnnyDollar wrote...

There have been a few statements. Yea, it's a little annoying when things are assumed about me by people over the internet whom I have never met. It only happens a few times in this thread, though, so it's not a pressing issue persay.
A Tali fan came in here accusing everyone in the thread here of always insulting Tali fans, and by extension, insulting him. I felt that was an exaggeration to say the least, and still do.Azint wrote...

Anyway, I don't want to drag the Jack thread into this convo very far, was just curious as to you're answer.

Yeah, actually I didn't even need to bring it up and ask the question at all, because I know that it was an exaggeration, and not accurate. Anyway, enough about that. I'll post a Jack pic, and then I'm goin to bed.kraidy1117 wrote...

I would disagree. I would say, instead, that, given her history, it is a response to her being caged. Her rage, at the world, needed an outlet. And her freedom was at stake.kraidy1117 wrote...

Never corner a wolf, as it will attack even a clearly superior opponent if going through is the only option to attain freedom.

The only difference is that a wolf can't destroy an Ymir mech with a biotic punch ;-)

Yeah, and I've been bitten by a wolf. Not that bad. Getting bitten by a 18-foot pyton hurt a sh*tload more and bled like something out of a horror movie... if you ever want to simulate it, jam your hand in a running sewing machine
Jeez, you lot... stop going crazy in here while I sleep! I have to make all these blind posts to catch up!
1) Axl - loved it
2) Johnny, my feelings is hurted - wahhhhhh, wahhhhh! Oh, wait, I'm being sarcastic
3) I'm actually not that surprised that Jack would come out in front in a poll like that. Like I've said to Kraidy before now, I don't hate Miranda with a passion or anything, she's just got a personality that I'd not get on with in reality. If she lightened up, stop talking about herself as though she is perfect (when she's quite aware that she isn't and she has nothing to live up to there other than her own expectations and not what she already accepts as her father's baggage) and maybe came down off her pedestal once in a while, she'd (to me at least) be a damn sight more likable than Ash, whose constant harping about aliens pisses me off no end (hence her getting Virmired so often

Eh, maybe not the most dangerous animal I could have mentioned. However, it goes back into a discussion the Tali thread (!!) was having about Jack - in regards to what sorts of attachments she would eventually have with some of the crew.Epantiras wrote...

I likened her to a wolf, after it acquired a new pack. The lengths it would go to protect said new pack from outsiders, even the ones it did not get along with. Felt it was an apt analogy.
@Mondo: For the record, My prefered romances for ME are (in order) Tali, Ash/Jack, Garrus, anyone else. Ash and Jack are tied IMO.I really like Ash's romance, but I do admit that Jack has probably the best romance of the human LI, across both games.

Oh, it is a pretty good analogy... I think I compared Jack to an omega-wolf once, considering the way she must present herself to the crew and her own somewhat less than charitable attitude to herself at times. Everything has to be a fight, a struggle, and she's always on the outside...
Yeah, Miri'll catch up eventually and probably outpace Jack on that poll... though it does amuse me no end that some of the Miri fans can't or won't explain what they like about her. Jeez, if it's your visual cortex telling you to pick her, have the balls to say it

Interesting the comparisons between Tali and Jack having just recently done a comparison of Tali and Miranda.
I don't view Tali and Jack in any way similar.... besides the fact that neither of them likes Cerberus.

I think it's a bit of a stretch as well. Their personalities are fundamentally different. Tali has much more in common with Miranda's personality than Jack's: that drive for perfection, the loyalty to the cause.NICKjnp wrote...

Kind of nice to see Jack do so well in a poll.
There has been a good discussion on the Talithread about it. Talifans like Jack. A lot of the same traits. Same anti-Cerberus attitude. That and we love an underdog.
I don't know about them having the same traits, other than hating Cerberus. Their personalities seem to be at opposite ends of the spectrum
@axl
That was a pretty clever quickfic

On a less-serious note, they're both tsundere for Shepard-chan.

They both make themselves extremely vulnerable in order to get closer to Shepard. Tali could actually die, and Jack probably felt as if she could die, walking in to Shepard's quarters.

Shouldn't that be dere-dere for Shepard-chan?
