Oh no, not my objective. I felt like dropping by initially because I was part of the discussion that was being referenced. If I am acting snarky, that means I feel comfortable.

A Tali fan came in here accusing everyone in the thread here of always insulting Tali fans, and by extension, insulting him.  I felt that was an exaggeration to say the least, and still do. 

Anyway, I don't want to drag the Jack thread into this convo very far, was just curious as to you're answer.

Really? I know I am not the innocent party and have gotten osme of you guys raffled after the Chud incident, but a Tali fan really did that anyways ya, back to Jack.

Yeah, actually I didn't even need to bring it up and ask the question at all, because I know that it was an exaggeration, and not accurate.  Anyway, enough about that.  I'll post a Jack pic, and then I'm goin to bed.

I would disagree. I would say, instead, that, given her history, it is a response to her being caged. Her rage, at the world, needed an outlet. And her freedom was at stake.

Never corner a wolf, as it will attack even a clearly superior opponent if going through is the only option to attain freedom.

Yeah, and I've been bitten by a wolf. Not that bad. Getting bitten by a 18-foot pyton hurt a sh*tload more and bled like something out of a horror movie... if you ever want to simulate it, jam your hand in a running sewing machine

1) Axl - loved it You set up a really nice erotic tone to it and then not so much cooled it off as a twist but just gave us a different kind of intimacy. Jack strikes me as the sort of person that melts with the right kind of touch. She's also probably a biter, but we'll leave that for another story

2) Johnny, my feelings is hurted - wahhhhhh, wahhhhh! Oh, wait, I'm being sarcastic Now hush and stop being silly. If you cross a line, you'll know it... I tend to storm out of the room ranting in a hormonal rage

3) I'm actually not that surprised that Jack would come out in front in a poll like that. Like I've said to Kraidy before now, I don't hate Miranda with a passion or anything, she's just got a personality that I'd not get on with in reality. If she lightened up, stop talking about herself as though she is perfect (when she's quite aware that she isn't and she has nothing to live up to there other than her own expectations and not what she already accepts as her father's baggage) and maybe came down off her pedestal once in a while, she'd (to me at least) be a damn sight more likable than Ash, whose constant harping about aliens pisses me off no end (hence her getting Virmired so often ). We'd probably be surprised by the amount of players that liked Jack but never really voiced it, because like us they channel their liking into someone else a step before they get to her.

Eh, maybe not the most dangerous animal I could have mentioned.  However, it goes back into a discussion the Tali thread (!!) was having about Jack - in regards to what sorts of attachments she would eventually have with some of the crew.

I likened her to a wolf, after it acquired a new pack.  The lengths it would go to protect said new pack from outsiders, even the ones it did not get along with.  Felt it was an apt analogy.

@Mondo:  For the record, My prefered romances for ME are (in order) Tali, Ash/Jack, Garrus, anyone else.  Ash and Jack are tied IMO.I really like Ash's romance, but I do admit that Jack has probably the best romance of the human LI, across both games.

Oh, it is a pretty good analogy... I think I compared Jack to an omega-wolf once, considering the way she must present herself to the crew and her own somewhat less than charitable attitude to herself at times. Everything has to be a fight, a struggle, and she's always on the outside...

Yeah, Miri'll catch up eventually and probably outpace Jack on that poll... though it does amuse me no end that some of the Miri fans can't or won't explain what they like about her. Jeez, if it's your visual cortex telling you to pick her, have the balls to say it

I think it's a bit of a stretch as well. Their personalities are fundamentally different. Tali has much more in common with Miranda's personality than Jack's: that drive for perfection, the loyalty to the cause.

There has been a good discussion on the Talithread about it. Talifans like Jack. A lot of the same traits. Same anti-Cerberus attitude. That and we love an underdog. :happy:

I don't know about them having the same traits, other than hating Cerberus. Their personalities seem to be at opposite ends of the spectrum . But I didn't know so many Talifans liked Jack. I've heard a few people say it before but I was never really sure. Hm, well kool .

Never thought about that but your right, Miranda does remind me of Bastila.

Shouldn't that be dere-dere for Shepard-chan? Jack starts out very tsun-tsun, but Tali is dere-dere from moment one. By the time Jack heads up to the cabin, she's got in touch with her dere-dere side.
