Say that in the Liara thread you will be bombared with alot of expresion pics of her face, same as the miri thread, same in the Jack board. If someone said does Jack have a expresive face, they would be bombarded with pics.

I have to give Samara credit for being so expressive while have no eyebrows. Liara's the only one with them. I didn't think Liara showed much emotion at all in ME1, but for that scene on Illium, especially for the "I did it for you" line she was quite expressive both visually and emotionally.

And just to quote you again, I do think that Miri is capable of some very nuanced expressions (though her smiles really don't work very often). I also think some particular lighting in some areas really flatters her model. Like this one... the ice is really in danger of cracking here

Sometimes an expressive face doesn't suit the character. Even as Miranda relaxes around Shepard, she doesn't strike me as one who would so easily display her thoughts with her face. She's worked too hard at maintaining a poker face in all situations that her deepest thoughts come from her actions and words. Unlike Jack who, even if she isn't showing her vulnerable side, she's showing her aggressive side all with her face.

I don't take this as a bad thing on Miranda's part. I find it completely in character and appropriate.

Samara definitely comes close. Her eyes are HUGE though.

I should add at this venture that if you see a shark's eyes up close, really close, they're not completely black. Can vouch for that. Though I have to say, they're the only part of a shark that isn't beautiful, because they're certainly emotionless orbs.

Yeah, I guess her eyes are a little hard to read at times, though I think that's got more to do with them being like headlamps; they're huge, you feel them just looking into you. Samara knows, man! She knows when you're telling lies just by looking at you! Ok, being silly, but you get the idea... she can read you with them, but reading her from them is a little more difficult.

Our gal speaks volumes with her peepers. Bless her little boots

You can personally vouch for that?

What Quint said about their eyes turning white, that's their "eyelid" isn't it? Since they protect their eyes when they bite.

Might have to do some research. Either way; learn something every day, eh?
