Shepard gets smacked in the head with a yellow paintball. From a distance he hears Garrus yell "Headshot!"
Shepard: Goddammit, Garrus!
Shepard turns to the source of the paintball to see Mordin looking innocently at the trees. Before he can say anything else, he gets smacked in the family jewels with another paintball. He hears Jack give a congratulatory "Nice..." as Tali reloads. Grunt looks down upon his battlemaster with disappointment.
Grunt: Useless.

I keep envisioning Bioware killing off Jack and other ME2 squadmates in a start-of-the-game cinematic, and it makes me so sad.
I think the ridiculous start to ME2 proves that we should expect anything. What Collider said is partly true, but most of those dossiers were there only for successfully surviving the Omega 4 relay.

I prefer the Hammerhead and it's current implementation to the bland and dull planet sidequests ME1 had with the Mako.
I'm sorry what was that? I couldn't hear you over THE TURBULENCE AS I WAS LANDING ON THE MOON!

Now someone needs to write a quickfic about Jack getting into the Mako for the first time and not knowing how it "deploys"

I thought it was ok. It's a shame we couldn't get dialog from the squadmates, and the Hammerhead isn't exactly Bioware's greatest vehicle design concept. I'm not very enthused over the "crash" problems during the mission either. In the past, it would crash around the same time as the cutscene to one of the stations on me, but recently it crashed on the last stage, right in the middle of a fight. They need to address that with the next patch, because it is far too regular.adriano_c wrote...
Honestly? Thought it was utterly forgettable.
-edit. Bioware's best story-driven DLC thus far has been for a game I'm not even particularly keen on anymore - Leliana's Song for Dragon Age.
-edit 2. Oh, I can't stress enough how much I hate that stupid vehicle...
I did like the story though, and the music was nice, but maybe not varied enough.
Wouldn't want it any other way personally. It adds more variety, and we don't need everything to be happy and perfect. You're drive for drama and catharsis is too great Mondo, you can't stop yourself from doing it.Mondo47 wrote...

Also agreed. Had no problem with Mako on main mission planets. Elsewhere though - it was horrible.I'd have no problem driving the Mako around a planet like Aite. Then I could actually get out of the vehicle, walk around a bit. Fire at the turrets for a bit before they completely blow me to hell.
I like the Hammerhead because it's a hovercraft and that will always be aweome. But the hovercraft abilities simply don't make up for the advantages of the Mako. They need to meld the two.

I think it'd be a difficult bridge for wee Jack to cross, and one that would be seriously fraught (and let's not even get started on the can she, can't she debate), but I've seen it in real life; someone who was a wreck - a mess of anxiety and bad choices and things that can't be forgotten, and in my book not someone who should even have contemplated motherhood (and yeah, I know that's horribly judgemental of me, so humble pie table twelve, please) became a wonderful mother because that child changed everything. So maybe it's not so impossible.
And hey, who here doesn't wish happiness for Jack one day?
Though... a part of me does worry for any child growing up on the Normandy; uncle Grunt and uncle Garrus bringing seriously inappropriate presents with a maximum lethal range of 3.4 km, aunty Miranda teaching her vicious economics and business sense, grampa Mordin making sure she can't so much as catch a cold... and a mother teaching her never to quit or take sh*t from anyone, and a father that casually kills ancient mecha-gods from beyond the stars...
That kid is going to save the universe one day. Or rule it with an iron fist

Let's just hope that cute little toddler doesn't have a little accident floating up there. At that angle, it might get a little messy for Jack.Mondo47 wrote...

You forgot great-grandpa Wrex's war stories and granny Samara's bickering about little children doing what there were told.
One thing for certain.... that kid won't be able to dance.

Comes with the territory; pee and poop and puke. For some reason, it's not too bad when it's a kid. When it's a drunk partner, however... mild irritation

You know... I've never had to deal with pee and poo.... or puke really. Mostly since I was usually the one who got wasted before anyone else in college. Now... I don't drink. Awful hangover while living in Italy and decided never ever to get drunk again.

Glad to see another fan of the show. Admittedly, I have the hulu links in my sig as a not-so-subtle way of adverstisement, despite the fact that both shows were cancelled after a season because "not enough people watched them". Apparently 5 million fans aren't enough for NBC and Fox...NICKjnp wrote...

As an aside, I've been meaning to watch Kings because of Ian McShane, sad to hear it went the way of Firefly my favorite TV show.
