If it is, I wouldn't be a part of it.
I usually play on casual. I only play on harder levels when I need the challenge.

Ok... I'm awake now. So out of curiosity... how many of you use Jack when you play hardcore or insanity?
She's just too squishy. Her shotgun-AI is too risky.
Does anyone actually play the game on something other than insanity (hardly insane)?
Either way, squad selection, for me, is simply based on what character I'd like to hear say a few lines.

I play on Insanity when I'm in a masochistic mood. Usually, I play on Normal, because, most of the time, I'm not in the mood to be given a hard time by something meant to entertain me.
I typically bring Samara, and the second spot is reserved for whoever will make the mission easier. Jack for groups of enemies, Grunt for small groups of enemies who hit really hard.
Does anyone consistently factor roleplay in to their process of choosing squadmates?

Dialogue, moral cohesion between Shepard and other squadmates, personality cohesion between Shepard and other squadmates...
Ok got it, yeah I do that most of the time. Because except for a few missions it does not really matter who you bring.yorkj86 wrote...

You mean like pairing Tali up with Legion at either one's loyalty mission?

This is exactly why I play on normal, I hate bullet-sponges.drunken pyromaniac wrote...
I play on Veteran, usually. Shooting someone twenty times in the head to kill them is no fun at all for me. Plus, Insanity makes biotics hard to use, thus rendering my favorite squadmate in ME2, Jack, much less effective.
From what I understand though, if you're good at stripping defenses, biotics can still be quite effective on Hardcore and Insanity.

Here is a question to those that play on lower levels. Out of curiosity, did you play the game on hardcore/insanity on Haestrom in order to get the Geth pulse rifle trophy?

I'm just happy to be getting more guns.JohnnyDollar wrote...
From my understanding, the next DLC will be armor/weapon content. I'm curious about the stats for that M5 pistol, and what apparently looks to be a double barrel Geth shotgun.

This poster appears to have totally missed the Jack character, imo.Miss Yuna of Atlanta wrote...
The worst of them all, though, is Jack. Again, I adore
her as a character, but the transition from "I'm a dangerous, angry
head-case" to "oh god, I'm so vulnerable, Shepard, hold me and protect
me with your mighty penis" is shockingly abrupt. I don't understand why
it's so slapped together. BioWare's writing staff usually excels at
pacing.

In the end though, it's Jack's feelings that count. Oh my God I'm talking about fiction character's feelings... call the migrant fleet [smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/wink.png[/smilie]

More guns and armour?
Jeez, BioWare, the guns we have do the bastard job already! Give us some more alternative costumes so we can play dressup some more!
Erm... I didn't say that, ok?
