Cuddlebunny Jack in bed? Sure. So long as I get to cuddle back.
No sir. You'll lay there and get cuddled without responding and you'll ****ing like it, understand?

You're probably right Mondo.Mondo47 wrote...
Like I said, I really think this poster was talking about the timing of Jack's turn from stone cold b*tch to cuddlebunny. It is abrupt, yes, but so is everything else in the game. It's not just Jack it effects.
I keep reading that same schtick about Jack being "fixed" by Shepard, albeit in a much more derogatory manner. It speaks for itself whenever it is used, and it gives you a peak of the posters' motivations and thoughts behind them, I think. Although I imagine quite a few of them don't have a clue of what their talking about, and are simply parroting others. Also as you said, they aren't getting what they want, so their going to moan and groan about it.
A lot of it just boils down to "BUTTHURT"!

While it's true some squaddies have an advantage on certain levels, all it takes is time, and I find you can develop a familiarity with their style and you can sync with them so they become exponentially more useful.
That is very true. I've brought Jack with me since I recruited her on my first playthrough, and I am so used to having her around that she has become as much a part of my combat strategy as my own abilities. I recently started a new playthrough and when I ran into the very first mech, my first reaction was to have Jack use pull on him, and I even hit the button that normally has her use pull. Then I quickly realized, "Derp, Jack is still stuck in prison."
Also I just want to say shockwave is also very useful. It's great for knocking enemies out of cover, with or without defenses. It's awesome to have Jack knock someone out of cover with shockwave and then you snipe them in the head.

And this is probably why a romance dlc was even suggested in the first place.
Or because certain lonely people can't differentiate between this game and the Sims?

Tali's pacing is the same as Jack's, isn't it?
Actually if I remember correctly, Jack has the most conversations on the Normandy than any other squadmate.

I took Jack with me a lot on my last playthrough. Grunt, Jack, and Mordin have had some of my favorite comments during missions. But on a normal playthrough where I'm not manipulating events for science, I prefer to rotate all the squadmates. Originally rotated them based on who worked better for various enemy types, but now just rotate them for different experiences.Jackal904 wrote...
I will admit that I always bring Jack with me no matter the situation. No matter the difficulty, no matter what Shepard I'm using, no matter the mission, I always bring Jack with me.

Maybe if you romance her. Mordin has about seven conversations, which I think is the minimum that every squadmate should have had regardless of romance.Jackal904 wrote...
