Johnny your talk of migrain therapy makes me think how badly I wanted to go through similar exercises for Jack's stress.
Seriously, someone write a FF or something

That is very true. I've brought Jack with me since I recruited her on my first playthrough, and I am so used to having her around that she has become as much a part of my combat strategy as my own abilities. I recently started a new playthrough and when I ran into the very first mech, my first reaction was to have Jack use pull on him, and I even hit the button that normally has her use pull. Then I quickly realized, "Derp, Jack is still stuck in prison."
Also I just want to say shockwave is also very useful. It's great for knocking enemies out of cover, with or without defenses. It's awesome to have Jack knock someone out of cover with shockwave and then you snipe them in the head.
Indeed, they become lifelines. You use a certain squad that you're attached to (Tali and Garrus for my "just like old times" playthroughs) and even if they start off bad (they did) pretty soon we were a wrecking ball. Now to find that comradery with Jack and Samara (who I've never used in combat) on Insanity will make the game seem like new.
So pretty much forget about Warp Ammo and go with the area effects?

Tali's pacing is the same as Jack's, isn't it?
Actually if I remember correctly, Jack has the most conversations on the Normandy than any other squadmate.
I heard Miranda had the most due to how early you got her, but I'll certainly be pleased if you're right.

Like I said, I really think this poster was talking about the timing of Jack's turn from stone cold b*tch to cuddlebunny. It is abrupt, yes, but so is everything else in the game. It's not just Jack it effects.
I thought each romance followed a similar pattern where you talked to them, talked some more, and/or did a loyalty mission and then all of a sudden you got the romance check, and if you say yes, you go down a rabbit hole of love, if you say no, kthxbyecomeagain. Yeah, pretty abrupt regardless. DA:O made the hastiness of ME even more apparent. So with that in mind, I still love the character sub-plots that I do for what they are worth, because if this much discussion and fandom can result from so little content, that makes them even more special that I previously thought.
I don't envy Bioware's writing staff. You can't have a romance "fix" anyone, because not romancing them or playing the opposite gender would leave gamers feeling dead inside. But you can't have the relationship not progress and have a conclusion that makes you feel like those involved are better or worse from it. Again, it makes me appreciate what we have the more I think about it.
Having said that, I hear a pleasant mix of paragon and renegade makes for an ideal Jack romance. Disagreements?
Also, Pacifien, may a concerned individual inquire about your signature?
