Kinda makes me wonder if she really has a full body tattoo. Aside from her face, of course, she wouldn't want to put anything important on her legs, rear, or anything she'd normally not expose. Some ink doesn't mean anything, they're just awesome looking.

I'm pretty sure Jack must be inked all over. Most of the designs on her body (particularly the star on her belly and the "circuit-diagram" on her back) suggest continuing down beyond the waistband of her overalls - for them to just stop would be a mite silly. I fully expect Jack to have tattoos on her legs, buttocks, feet... it just makes sense for the designs to continue, and also expland the canvas that is The Book of Jack. I don't think Jack would really care about things being exposed to be honest... I don't think she's going to go running about naked, mind you, I just don't think she'd really be that bothered about her skin getting exposed.

I like what's there, Axl... the only thing I'd be tempted to do though is expand it beyond a screenplay-dialogue setup. I only tend to write that way myself because of time and keeping a hand in for my comics-writing. I think your little story would be all the better for having the dialogue written traditionally - as it stands it kinda straddles the two styles. That's about the only thing I can say about it critically, because I really liked it ^_^

There's something about the look on Shepard's face that makes me think he's thinking "Oh, now you pull out the good shit?"

Indeed, she wouldn't be bothered. And you're right about the tattoo continuation, especially that star on her belly, it's quite...fitting. As far as "The Book of Jack" goes, she might not bother putting anything significant on unexposed areas. She's proud of them, the stories, her kills, the way they look, unless perhaps it's considered an insult to the man to have his face tattood on her ass :D

Shepard: "What the hell is this?"

Jack: "That's Tiny"

You know, there's plenty for Shepard to be disappointed in. Thane's box-flipping and neck-snapping was misleading, as was that civilian's story about Mordin taking out all those mercs with no mechs. Garrus taking on 3 merc bands by himself, Tali surrounded by dead geth and geth primes. I'm beginning to think all these squaddies just put on a good show so Shepard will recruit them.

EDIT yeah, that's it, they're all highly staged performances orchestrated by TIM to make Shepard think his dossiers are awesome. Warden Kuril was a paid actor!

I like what you've written, axl.  It's nice to having Jack's back-story competently fleshed-out.   It's also nice to see Jack and Shepard getting closer to one another.

Can you see Jack pulling a Cassandra Cain and occasionally walking around the Normandy, or Shepard's quarters, at least, naked, without caring?

This what you're looking for?

I was playing around with this site earlier. Aside from the initial two seconds of movement from the characters, before the camera swings around to look at them, with some pop-up headers of their names...is there any other motion from them? I can move the camera around the scenery (to the interior of a building and a view of the collector ship), but that's it. What's the point of the site? I mean, even those aforementioned pop-ups don't have any information. Maybe it's just my computer?

To me, Shepard's look always seemed to say "Damn, girl", with quick reminder to himself to never, ever ****** off Jack. Where is 'The Eye' motivational when you need it?

Hmmm... I think most people when they're comfortable in an enviroment don't have qualms about walking around naked, especially if it isn't environmentally-unfeasable (too cold for example). It does though make some people feel a lot more vulnerable. I'm not sure how cosy Jack would get on the Normandy; as "safe" as being in Shepard's realm might make her feel, there are other people in that sphere she may not completely trust. If she did do that, I think it'd be either to irritate or shock people, or to try and force some kind of confrontation ("What the f*ck are you staring at?"). As for in private, I know at least that I don't bother putting anything on to sleep unless it's cold, and if I'm sharing a bed with someone, chances are I'll have even more reason not to want to put anything on. I can't see Jack being much different; she doesn't seem the kind of woman to put something on to try and enhance her intimate image - you take what's there or you leave it (which was my rationale behind Jack not bothering with underwear); you accept Jack or GTFO. There are much different connotations attached to being naked around a partner and being naked casually around other people that you are comfortable with. So I think Jack wouldn't walk around naked unless she was trying to put someone's back up. Or if she was going swimming :D

It's probably a degree of projection on my part, but I certainly don't think it's outside of her character to behave in that manner... allowing someone to touch her would be a much more intimate action for Jack than just getting undressed, which makes Axl's backrub tales all the nicer, because it's something that really displays a level of trust in Jack.

axl99, here come my thanx!)) Really enjoyed reading the story. Specially the ending))
It's nice to see Jack express her caring for the Commander.

Now, I might, might consider using the DLC outfit, because it's truly badass, but look at Shepard's face, he's so confused because he can't see Jack's eyes. So I'll wait for a mod.

Please tell me it's coming out soon! I just can't use this outfit for Jack.
Feel like I'll get arrested and put in a high-security prison for hiding Jack's eyes :pinched:

Idk, Shepard fast-walking in with a doughnut in his mouth, busy with tactics, reports, the next mission. At a passing glance, I might think nude Jack was fully clothed (well, half-dressed, as per standard). Eh, that's just me :P

Indeed, I think Shepard also had it after the incident at Purgatory.

Don't know who Cassandra Cain is, but Jack walking around the Normany nude has a lot of potential for comedic scenarios, obviously. If there weren't separate showers for male and female crew, I'd say a co-ed shower/locker room encounter with, say, Mordin, could be classic. I doubt she'd stop at a certain two-fingered gesture, either.

Well, I don't how about the whole Normandy but in Shep's "apartment" when it's just the two of them? It's more then likely if not obvious. Jack seems to be the kind of person who won't be shy of her body. Moreso with the man she trusts.

I do think that Jack is one of the few characters in the game who smiles really work with; they're extremely nuanced, and communicate much better than many of the characters. Kelly has a nice little shy smile in a couple of scenes. I just hope they sort out Miranda's mouth because while her smiles work to a degree, they go too far and we're in Sheploo Smile Land. I think Jack's smiles are on a par with krogan smiles for communication, so thus -

Devi doesn't hold tons of good Jack-material, but some works really appeal to me.
This one especially. Also probably appeared here but oh well...

I like how, even though all of the alien species are supposed to be different, and have their own little quirks, they still all express happiness with their faces in the same way. I'm not complaining, I think it's silly and cute.

That's a good one.  It's very emotional, with the colors and the shadows.  It's just makes me sad that the artist created it because Jack was the only squadmate to die on his/her run of the suicide mission.  :crying:

Don't think I've ever seen that one before... I like. Jack does like her alone-time, so I can imagine her just going to sit somewhere and enjoy the quiet and peace of just being alone for a while.

There are three people who I can see being able to ignore Jack... and make her pissed because of it.  Grunt... because he would find it ammusing rather than feel threatened.  Samara... because lets face it... she has more experience with dealing with criminals than all of Shepards squadmates combined.  Mordin... because nothing seems to scare him except failing at his mission.

They seem to take it personally for some reason.

The description goes
"I've wanted to go back and replay Mass Effect 2 for a while now--simply because Jack was the ONLY one that didn't make it out"

By the way, the author also mentioned that the tattoos on Jack's arms are a human spine. Damn, I'd give my breakfast for the whole month for the chance to know all the details behind Jack's tattoos ))
