Jack:  What?  They blurred out my breasts in that video?  That's lame.

That's Jack's "what're-you-gonna-do-about-it?" face.

The harness shown in the video looks so much better than the belt-bra.

I remember someone posting a render of it, as well. Shows more of the chest tattoos, but not the umm...sideboob and rib-area tats.

If that was her default look, it would be different, but dat belt is a trademark, causing censor bars to unleash and children scurrying from their homes. I like that part, it adds weight.

Here's the model they used for her for that one interactive website that was posted earlier.

Seriously, though, I think with sudden reactions like this it might explain why some people insist on calling her a b*tch constantly - they expect her to just roll over like Tali and Miri do ("Oh! Commander Shepard wants me! I must pick out a wedding dress immediately!").

Yeah I definitely think a lot of people are put off by that, but that's one of the main things that attracted me to her. Same with when she called me a p*ssy. I liked that someone didn't kiss Shepard's feet for once, let a lone have the balls to call him a p*ssy. She calls you a f*cker, she tells you she's sick of your face, and she says "f*ck you" to you, and that's when you're going down her paragon romance path. And it's awesome.

That is scary. The green star, and the two arms are identical? I suppose tats are tats. She's not wearing any top in this one, eh? Looks like a garden :P

Indeed. The amount of Shepard worship is a little off-putting after awhile. It goes on besides the romances, as well. Ashley calls you a "god" lol I mean come on.

They removed the "HUMAN" tattoo from her back. I heard that, at one point, Jack was supposed to be a humans-first advocate, but I don't know where I heard that. Would that have changed your ability to like her character, everyone?

The artwork is nice, but the concept is totally out of character. Jack gracefully gliding forward through the air with her arms folded back, and shooting people behind her?

Actually you can choose every paragon dialogue choice and complete her paragon romance, even though she responds negatively to a few of them.

I think the idea that originally she was a human-first advocate was just speculation from that HUMAN tattoo. Maybe BioWare put race labels on the characters to prevent confusion?

But yes, my likeness of her would be different if she was like one of those Terra Firma nuts. Jack's got enough features that push most people away from her, her being a racist doesn't need to be one of them. Plus it makes absolutely no sense why she would be a humans-first advocate. Humans were the ones who did all those terrible things to her at Teltin, and it was a humans-first organization that started it. I'm surprised she's not anti-human. But I guess you could say she's anti-everyone.

I don't interpret the tattoo that way. She could have undergone those surgeries because she believed fanatically in Cerberus' brand of human ascension, especially if the Teltin backstory was thought up late in her character's development.

Anyway, I interpret the "HUMAN" tattoo as her way of saying that she is alive, and her own person, not anyone's toy to screw around with.

Shep does run across people with issues with aliens a lot, but bear in mind Pressley; a man carrying a lot of baggage from the First Contact war, who winds up admitting he would be on the front line for his alien comrades by the time he gets toasted. Shep changes those he touches... so a Humans-First Jack would probably come around by the end.

Still, it doesn't make a mess of sense for her to support human supremacist groups considering one has been giving her the shaft since she was a kid and is responsible for, oh, f*cking up her life totally. Not really a logical choice for Jack, is it?

Not that I disagree with you Mondo, but that raises a question though.  Is Jack logical with her choices that she has made, and the actions that she has taken?

I figured as much, so I was being a little sarcastic. I'd rather not ****** anyone off, unless..

even though she responds negatively to a few of them.

Jack pissed off? Tempting. I guess it depends on the type of pissed off she is :D

You mean she'd be pro-Cerberus? How does that work with the whole Teltin Project? She was a volunteer or something?

Yikes. You know, despite that frightening thought, if she were still the same Jack, I couldn't help but like her. She might come across as more extreme and simple-minded, and I wouldn't have respect for her (if she was a volunteer), but that foul mouth of hers is always a reminder that I'm not in a space fairy tale, she adds realism to the game even though she's covered in tattoos, a belt bra, and a gold transmitter earpiece.

How awful. Now I imagine guards and kids callin her "tool" and "runt". She'd probably want to get "Jack" across, though.

Jack reacts to outside stimulus in a fairly logical way, though her reactions are not always good or sensible: someone passes her over when sharing out the booty, she kills them before their impending "betrayal" (which Jack seems to take as an expectation for someone to try and off her) even takes place. The cult uses her, she gets rid of them all. Cerberus tortures and experiments on her, she vows to kill not only the people involved, but go completely Keyser Soze on their asses and off their families, neighbours, milkmen and pets. Her reactions are logical, but are way too extreme... she's opening walnuts with a sledgehammer; probably because she thinks the most extreme reaction will stop it from happening again. Though it always does, because her extreme reactions lead her from one set of people that seem intent on using her to another; people she's met on the run or in the joint that see her power and attempt to use it. Looking for some sense of who she is, she joins them, and the same thing happens because her behaviour leads her to the same people time and again. Murtock is the secondary victim of this pattern; his genuine feelings were not seen until it was all too late, and Jack is forced to try and rationalise his "using" of her to try and patch her damaged feelings... but Jack does inflict much of this on herself, so her reactions to emotional stimulus are completely logical - just not that rational - that's where I'd argue the difference lies.

Speaking about possible xenophobia or as opposite pro-human behavior I think Jackal904 wrote the most precise idea. Jack with her todays character is anti-everyone. To make her believably distinguish just one race or one group would demand much work on writers part. They would have to give a very good excuse for a person who was used by most people (this including people and aliens I guess) to suddenly desperately protect interests of a concrete side.

Well, at best after ME2 Jack would become pro-Shepard I think))

Yeah that's a good way of a looking at it. Although some people might still take it as her being humans-first. I think the message of her being her own person would have been better delivered if the tattoo said "JACK". Like a permanent jersey Image IPB.  It'd be like a declaration of who she is, it's basically saying, "my name is Jack, not Subject Zero, not crazy b*tch, just Jack."

Haha. In ME3, Shepard will defeat the Reapers by nicely or not-so-nicely asking them to leave.
