Indeed, my CN has felt rather useless lately. And they are freakin guns. GUNS! That equals out to....zero added gameplay.

I won't pay 160 Bioware points on weapons that will give me a significant edge in combat. I did, however, paid 160 Bioware points for a useless DLC that made Garrus look like a character from Tron, Thane from Saturday Night Fever and made look Jack more badass than my own Shepard. And said useless DLC also added a visor to said badass outfit that hides one of Jack's best features (i.e. eyes). And I'm still happy I bought said useless DLC.

I have yet to buy any of the paid for "accesory" DLC. Only missions for me. I'm tempted to get the alternate outfit pack, but that visor...

EDIT: I enjoyed that video alot, Sundown. I take it your a TFK fan?

I wouldn't say they offer a "significant" edge, but if anything, they add a little short-lived variety to an already stale game and its main focus - shooting. On the other hand, I can't bring myself to buy the armour packs (already had the rifle + inferno suit), as I feel those really add nothing. Two helmets and some random junk? Pass.

As for the appearance pack, there's no way it was good value for money...but whatever, it was something new and Jack-related. Why not?

I just DL'd those guns. I'm liking the assault rifle more than the others. But then, I always liked the assault rifle.
I'm a Sentinel, with James Shepard -- my prominent one -- so I can't really use the Geth shotgun. I played one mission, as soon as I got them, took Jack with me, and flat out BEGGED her ass to fire that ****.
...She never did.

Anyway, if you guys are looking for something to criticize  ((the hell did I say THAT for?)) I just made up my own little music video, after seeing the one posted up here, last time. It's my first time making one of those without help of the game itself, aside from footage, but I can handle the criticism.

Kestrel armor is a significant boost, in particular for the Vanguard.

And any class where you are using a shield power as bonus power... my adept.
