If it's wrong to find Jack cute, I can't imagine that anyone in this thread would want to be right.

Yeah, I guess not. I'm a Tali-fan at heart, but Jack has an allure about her too. The one male LI I couldn't get into was Miranda.

I just took another look at the CGI trailer again. Just wow. The things they can do with Jack's mouth, even if it's facial mocap. It's effing scary.

Anyway, there it is. Enjoy.

They both had a different feeling to them, the first was more fast-paced and the second was slower.
I like the second one a little more because I like the song better and because scenes matched up better.

But either way nice work.

She looks almost real.  It's a shame some of the frames that I can get of her are crystal clear and very detailed and sharp, but quite a few of the frames of her are a bit blurry and not near as crisp.  That screenshot above is a little dull, but you can see the pores in her skin in this one below.

Uhm, I must think about a quick parody comic about this :-)

I think the asian feel comes from the eyes, when I compare the FFTL trailer with a normal screenshot of her, eyes seem different.

BTW do you think that they used motion capture for that? 'Cause it would make miss Taylor's latest announcement on Twitter highly suspicious... twitter.com/courtenaytaylor/status/20122141652

Well IMO, her skin seems darker and her hair looks black in these pics compared to the finished product you see in the game. All I'm saying is that her appearance changed slightly from that teaser trailer and that she looked slightly Asian compared to the final version you see in the game. I dunno maybe the whole darker lipstick is throwing me off

Yeah, the FFTL Jack really does have a lot of minor ethnic "hallmarks" in her features, which to me suggests that maybe she's a product of the much-mooted ethic-homogenisation of future-humanity; occupying a niche that sits inbetween a plethora of racial groups due to extended genetic blending as the world "shrank" and genetically-diverse human groups interbred over passing centuries. It used to be considered a norm in sci-fi, but these days geneticists have begun to murmur about how the concept has a lot of holes in it and may not hold water at all.

Just pondering the rationale behind it...

Sorry.... I don't see it.  In ME2 I think that they did a poor job at making the characters look like a mix or genetic groups like hase been suggested in the ME books and ME1.  In ME1 Kaidan, Ashley and Anderson each looked like a mix of different genetics but in ME2 it looked like they decided to throw that concept to the side.  Jack, Miranda and the creepy old man Zaeed are white, Jacob is black and Kasumi is asian.  Have a nice day and please drive through.

Very nice, I liked it a lot. Even more-so than the first. The timing of all the clips with the song was very well done. Great job.

Blur always uses mo-cap for trailer work. I didn't believe it until a Bioware buddy of mine told me.
