Unless they're doing more CGI trailers for ME3, why would they need Ms. Taylor for motion-capture for anything related to ME3?
Maybe just for new animations in-game? It doesn't necessarily have to be mo-cap for Jack. Maybe she just so happens to be good at doing mo-cap stuff in general.

Well... since you asked...
(choose which one you like better, I gave both links because they're so similar)
I'm leaning toward using 'since you asked'. Just so you -- and everyone else -- knows.

They both had a different feeling to them, the first was more fast-paced and the second was slower.
I like the second one a little more because I like the song better and because scenes matched up better.
But either way nice work.

Very nice, I liked it a lot. Even more-so than the first. The timing of all the clips with the song was very well done. Great job.
Again, thanks for the feedback. I'm gonna try and take what I did in the second and make something better for the third. Doesn't really need to be said, but once it's up, you guys will be the first to know.
All I need is a way to get that song...
Oh, and for the Jack looking asian, latin, etc...I'm one of those people who thought she was just caucasian. I mean, I've long since believed that any trailers that weren't made by the company that made the game --correct if wrong -- are going to be somewhat different from the actual in game models. I'm not saying that speculating's pointless, though, since they don't really tell us her ethnicity.
Or any other human's, for that matter.
Edit: ^^^ Not entirely true, but still.

A little off topic I suppose, but something from an article that I read that you may find interesting, Mondo. Some researchers have come to the conclusion from studying genetic data, that indicates that there were two periods of interbreeding between humans and an extinct archaic species between 45,000 & 60,000 yrs ago, leaving their genes with modern human DNA. Which appears to mean that neanderthals didn't completely disappear.Mondo47 wrote...
Yeah, the FFTL Jack really does have a lot of minor ethnic "hallmarks" in her features, which to me suggests that maybe she's a product of the much-mooted ethic-homogenisation of future-humanity; occupying a niche that sits inbetween a plethora of racial groups due to extended genetic blending as the world "shrank" and genetically-diverse human groups interbred over passing centuries. It used to be considered a norm in sci-fi, but these days geneticists have begun to murmur about how the concept has a lot of holes in it and may not hold water at all.
Just pondering the rationale behind it...

As far as ethic-homogenisation of future-humanity goes, it has been happening up to this point. I imagine it will continue into at least the near future. However, there is also the prospect of genetic engineering, and possible ramifications as to how that will play out in the future of humanity. Sci-fi could go in a few directions, I suppose.

A funny thing about the geth shotgun is that while you have it charged up, if you aim at another squadmate they will yell at you as if you're shooting at them. And the first time I charged it up, I was just looking around and my reticle swiped past Jack and she yelled at me and called me a ******.

What if Jack met up with Corporal Toombs?
Now, we could probably just wave this one off as 'if she sees him, she'll kill him' judging from the fact that Toombs threatens Shepard, in one of the messages he recieves. But what if Shepard had the Sole Survivor background? And convinced Jack to let Aresh live? You think it might change the outcome of the conflict? Or do you think it's still going to end up with someone getting killed?

Stop being so vague, just gimme the line!
Actually, nvm, I'll enjoy looking for it. I hope to only have to load a save one time, which is already a challenge.
Love that screen, Mondo.

Oh man, dem eyes. Not everyone knows this, but one of Shepard's unspoken responsibilities is to keep Samara and Jack from looking in to each other's eyes, because if they were allowed to do so, it would bring about the end of everything.
