If she were to actually get a tatoo for Shepard, I would imagine a N7 tatoo. Simply because it could be small, it would have to be to fit somewhere inbetween all those other tatoos. Unless she were to get it somwhere we can't see, like her upper thigh or something? We don't really know how much of her body is tatooed. And because it could work for all Shepards. A name couldn't work, considering everyone's Shepard has a different name. The N7 can represent every Shepard. I do think that would be a great sign of affection from Jack. For her to show Shepard a tatoo on her body that represents Shepard during ME3, would be really touching I think. Quick! Someone with writing ability! Write a quick fic!NICKjnp wrote...
What Tattoo do you think she will get for Shepard (assuming he romanced her)?
Edit: There is actually a fan art floating around here somewhere where Jack is giving herself a N7 tatoo on her arm

Man, imagine if she loses the Normandy and crew somehow? She'd take out a solar system.Pacifien wrote...
I think until the Normandy, sounds like the colony was the closest she ever got to stability, but someone destroyed the colony. So she crashed a space station.

Possibly, but definitely not the criminal things like the space station or hijacking the military ship. She does show she has a moral compass when she is troubled by the realization that the other children were put through even worse than she was in order to "protect" her, and probably a few other times. So if in the past she had unintentionally hurt/killed someone (or a bunch of someones) who it turned out didn't deserve it, I think she might feel remorse for that.Gethforceone wrote...
Do you think Jack would show remorse for anything she's done?
But, in the end, all the things she's done have led to her being alive today. That seems to be from where she takes her main perspective - she's alive, that must mean whatever she's done was the correct thing to do.
Edit: Emphasized DEFINITELY. Because she takes pride in those things; far, far from remorse. :innocent:

N7 for sure. Even better if she puts the tattoo somewhere visible. After all, no one would **** with an N7 guy, so no one would **** with a N7 guy's girl, and no one would **** with a girl who can put up with an N7 guy.

I don't think she would get a tattoo to remember Shepard unless Shepard dies. It seems a little ooc imo. But if she were to get a tattoo to remember Shepard, I'd definitely think an N7 tattoo would be best. It could be over her "medical tattoos" on her right arm.

The first thing that came into my mind was the N7 logo, but it looks like Jack prefers shapes and images instead of actual numbers and letters (the one she has on her skin look like Cerberus made imho).
A romanced Jack.... on her chest, below the "cirlce of skeletal hands" and the compass, roughly where her heart should be... maybe the tatoo of a heart itself - not a stylized one but something like a picture taken from a 1800 medical book. Uhm, cheesy, scrap it.

You know, I find that appealing in an odd kind of way. I think a tattoo of a real heart would fit her very well. I like to think some of her tattoos have another, personal meaning to her beyond the obvious so this could blend into the other, more obvious ones. On the surface, it would be just another mark of her toughness but she and maybe Shepard if she told him would know the real meaning.Epantiras wrote...

Commander Shepard's Quarters, 21:14 Standard Operational hours...
The sound of hissing water comes from Shepard's bathroom. Outside the door, Jack stands at the commander's workdesk, the bedsheets wrapped around and trailed across the floor like a wedding train. She runs a fingertip over the hull of the model of the Normandy SR2, her expression contemplative. Tucking the sheets under her arms tighter she carefully takes the model off its bracket and examines it closely, turning it over in her hands. Jack eventually returns the ship to its support and turns her attention to the replica of Sovereign. She lifts the large model down and stares intently at the array of 'legs' at the front of the thing. Her eyes narrow. Lost in thought, she does not notice the hiss of the bathroom door opening. Steam coils out in the cabin in faint tendrils as Shepard exits, a towel wrapped around his waist, droplets of water still gleaming in his short, half-towelled hair. He smirks at Jack's turned back and takes a quiet step up behind her. He places his hands on her exposed shoulderblades and she starts, almost dropping Sovereign.
Jack: (surprised) F*ck, Shepard! Don't do that... nearly dropped this ugly f*cker.
Shep: (amused) I wouldn't mind. I get tempted to toss it out the airlock pretty often.
Jack lifts the model up and sights down its body like it is a weapon of some kind.
Jack: What’s the deal with locking the bathroom door, huh?
Shep: I didn’t know you were going to show up out of the blue.
Jack: Hey, you don’t want me to come soap your back up, it’s your loss…
Shepard chuckles. Jack turns her attention back to Sovereign’s replica.
Jack: So this is one of the bad guys, huh?
Shep: Yeah. Except the real thing was two kilometers long and had more firepower than a dreadnaught.
Jack whistles.
Jack: And how many of these bastards are there?
Shep: (shrugging) Hundreds. Maybe thousands of them. Sovereign didn't give exact numbers, neither did Vigil.
Jack puts Sovereign on the desk with a snort.
Jack: Don't like the sound of our chances...
Shepard puts his arms around her and pulls her back against him.
Shep: Mind if I ask why you're only wearing a bedsheet? Not that I'm complaining, but...
Jack: (grinning) I have to draw you a picture?
Shepard strokes Jack's bare arms.
Shep: What's one more? You know, one of these days you'll have to give me a tour of the gallery - if you want to, I mean. You said some of them were personal...
Jack: Hey, ask away. You get too personal, you'll find out.
Jack turns and smirks over her shoulder at Shepard. She nudges him gently away with her back, then drops the bedlinen around her feet. Shepard casts an admiring eye over her body.
Jack: Don't you have some, uh, questions for me then?
Shepard traces the edges of the large skull in the center of the letter Omega in her back.
Shep: Who's this guy, then?
Jack: That's kinda simple. Death. I've got him on my back so I ain't ever worried about him sneakin' up on me. I know where he is... always behind me. Plus, skulls are a pretty universal message to people. Screw with me, you end up like him.
Shepard moves his hand down to the lower right side of her back, where a group of fifteen black tears lie in rows.
Shep: Don't tears mean something?
Jack: Prison kills.
Shep: I thought there'd be more than that...
Jack: Black ones are just guards... guess I should add a few more after Purgatory, huh?
Shep: What about other prisoners?
Jack: Left calf.
Jack lifts her leg to show off a large winged eye amongs the plethora of designs that swathe her legs.
Shep: I don't see any tears...
Jack: Feathers on the wings.
Shepard takes another look and notes the feathers are actually inverted tears - dozens of them.
Shep: How many prisons have you been in?
Jack: Enough.
Shepard notices at the same time that Jack has a set of rings tattooed on the sole of her foot.
Shep: You even have implants here?
Jack: Yeah. Arms, legs, spine, skull. Maximum energy conductivity. I have a couple in other places, some aren't there anymore. Removed. The scar on the back of my neck, that’s where some f*cking squint prison medic dug an L4 interface out of me… thought it was the only implant in me… f*cking idiot.
Shep: How’d you pay him back?
Jack: I took something’ outta him too. Forgot about the anaesthetic.
Shepard grips Jack around her waist and sits her on the desk. Jack smiles at Shepard coyly.
Jack: Wondered when you’d get to the front…
Shep: You’ll have to try harder to distract me from this. I want to know who these eight lovely ladies here are.
Shepard gently lifts and turns Jack’s left arm. Jack purses her lips for a moment, thoughtful.
Jack: I met this asari working on a platform in the Verge, place kinda like Omega… she was a sensational artist. People would come from out of the system to get ink done by her she was that good. Old broad; she’d been travelling the systems for a good four hundred years before I got there, learning all kinds of styles and ways of modifying skin. She had little chisels she could rip tiny trenches of skin out with, brands, needleguns, laser-etching gear, she even did those gene-tattoos that bond to your DNA and become permanent skin patterns. Real quality work. I had to get something done by her…
Jack looks at her left arm, touching the head closest to her shoulder and smiling to herself.
Shep: Must have run pretty expensive.
Jack: Yeah, and I didn’t get ‘em all done in one go. She asked me what I wanted, and I said somethin’ kinda stupid, like a krogan death mask… I mean, everyone has those things… and she looks at me like I’m the dumbest b*tch she’s ever laid eyes on and says something like “You don’t look ordinary… how disappointing that you are.” Nearly clocked the b*tch right there. She suggests I have a tattoo that means more to me, so she asks me to tell her a story about me. So, I tell her about breaking out of a floating prison barge on Palavan - nothing exciting, just a bullsh*t prison break. So she does this one here… gives me all this hair like tentacles. Makes me into a mermaid. So that’s the way it goes; I pay her, tell her a story, and she makes another face for me that is inspired by it. She said she could tell what I was looking for in life, and wanted to kinda show me I always had options, you know? We got on pretty good by the end of it all... well, at least I didn't want to knock her teeth out every five minutes.
Shepard strokes the face closest to her wrist, with its unblemished face and perfect blonde tresses.
Shep: So which Jack is she then?
Jack’s mouth becomes a tight line for a moment. Shepard catches the look and raises his hands in supplication.
Shep: Hey, if it’s too personal, I can drop it.
Jack: No, it’s… it’s the me I might have been, you know? If Cerberus hadn’t f*cked me up. If I’d been some happy little colony kid that grew up in a nice home with a pair of loving parents and a dog or some sh*t like that…
Jack’s smiles have faded. Shepard takes hold of her hands in his and kisses her knuckles.
Shep: Sorry. Didn’t mean to…
Jack: F*ck it. How were you supposed to know? I gotta share this sh*t with you now, anyway. I mean, you’ve shared your crap you drag around with you with me, so I gotta too.
Shep: You can still be her, you know? Have something stable, as normal as you can handle...
Jack: Nah. Don’t wanna be her anyway.
Shep: No?
Jack: Nope. She’d not be able to do this to the man that saved the galaxy from the big bad Reaper…
Jack slips one hand behind Shepard’s head and pulls him close to her. Her other hand runs her hand up the inside of Shepard’s bare leg, hitching up his towel up as it goes. She suddenly stops, takes a firm grip on the material and yanks it off Shepard’s waist. She hops off the desk, and in a shot darts into the bathroom, locking the door behind her.
Jack: (yelling) That’s what you get for locking me out, you f*cker.
Shepard stands naked in front of the door for a moment, smiles to himself, then picks up the rumpled sheet from the floor.

For some reason, I kept expecting Tali, or Garrus to walk in, right after Jack locks the door on Shepard.

I like that line. I like how tender they are with each other.
I like how everyone writes Jack just a little different. It means the writers established enough of her character to give us an idea of who she is, but left her character open-ended enough for interpretation.

I keep seeing her sat on a table in a prison yard with a harmonica. And being able to play like John Popper (as long as no-one is watching)
