I think the harmonica thing is the whole prison-cliche thing, but I really think it fits... a bit like Corky's Jew's Harp in Bound; it's oral, so it automatically has an erotic connotation, but it also fits the concept of someone with no real possessions and base societal roots. Harmonicas are the fanfare of the gutter; the cry of the beaten heart and bruised soul, and playing them well - really well - requires inhumane levels of skill. I think it fits Jack meself...

I was playing through ME 2 ((Just beat it. Yet. Again.)) And on Thane's recruitment mission, I was going toe-to-toe with a Krogan Battlemaster, in melee combat. I was just about to give him his final hit when Jack shoved his ass off a cliff.
"FLY, B*TCH!" was what she said.
That was an epic moment.
Then there was that time I started playing Tetris with a Collector, on Horizon. Jack sent it into the air with a shockwave,Samara pulled it back, and then I slammed the guy into the ground. Landed next to an explosive canister, so I said "What the hell?"
Fun times. You guys ever had a epic moment like that?

JakeMacDon has a Jack fic on his blog. Urdaniel is in the process of writing a Jack fic, but I'm too lazy to find the fanfiction url for it.
As for the other romances, I can only comment in what I've seen and read for Tali, Miranda, and Ashley. I haven't even done Jack's yet.
I wasn't too keen with Liara's romance, and I imagine I wouldn't be keen on Tali's romance for the same reason. They go into it with wide-eyed crushes on Shepard. Not my thing. I am long past the days where that was adorable and, honestly, it was more embarrassing than anything else. I suppose it could be different if you're a guy, because you get this adorable, intelligent, nicely proportioned girl who thinks you're simply the greatest thing in the world and she wants to be with you wholeheartedly. What a nice romance. Whatever struggles you might have, it certainly won't get in the way of your undying love for each other.

I was intrigued with Ashley's romance, and I'm a big defender for her against anyone who wants to make the racist comment. And it's nice that if you do romance her, you have that chance to truly open her eyes. Unfortunately, my love for Wrex is apparently far greater. My playthrough for romancing Ashley was the only playthrough where I couldn't talk Wrex down at Virmire, so she shot him. And I nuked her in retaliation. Really shallow, I know.
The biggest hurdle in Miranda's romance will always be the conclusion. Knowing that's where the romance goes, I just can't bring myself to even try it. It's like how I know there are supposed to be some interesting conversations with Jacob if you do his romance, but the tone of the romance ensures I will never do it. It does come across as probably the only romance where both parties are on equal footing, no schoolgirl crush, fraternization, or emotional trauma involved.
Jack's romance is not the only romance I like, but since you asked about the love interests for male Shepard, I'll stick to those.

I agree with right about all of your points, I think you really hit the nail on the head. Oh and feel free to share which other romances you like and why. I'm just curious to see what kind of romances Jack fans are interested in, other than Jack's of course lol. Oh, and I forgot to mention that I am following Urdaniel's Jack fanfic as well. Things Worth Keeping is actually my favorite fanfic out of all the one's I've read. It's extremely well written

Jack's romance and Samara's "almost romance" are my favorites.
Jack's romance has mostly ruined Liara's romance for me. Liara is sweet, cunning, intelligent, and harsh when she needs to be. She is also very dedicated to Shepard (Mondo thinks, maybe jokingly, that her dedication makes her a little creepy). The lull in her romance in ME2 has caused me to appreciate Jack's romance so much more, though, not that it's hard to appreciate anyway. I'm postponing my final judgment of Liara's romance until ME3, to see the treatment her character gets.
I like Samara's "almost romance" because the final scene is so, so sad. You can see it in her eyes and in her facial expressions that she's absolutely devastasted by her feelings for Shepard, especially if he pushes her about them. She's a very strong woman, and you can just tell that she was experiencing a storm of emotions during the final scene. I respect her because she ultimately turns Shepard down. She sticks to her convictions. She knows exactly what she wants from the rest of her life.
I don't have any knowledge of Ashley's romance arc.

Hardcore is my favorite. Insanity isn't particularly fun, while the others are too easy. If your goal is just to get some video recorded though, easy would allow you to do it quickly.Sundown Native wrote...

And as for the romance topic...I'm gonna go with just Ashley. I played the first more than I did the second, and eventually, I got a good story out of it.
What made it good is because it wasn't really a romance. More like a 'what could have been' romance. You got Shepard, a guy who's struggling to cope with dealing with the Council ((though whenever he sees them in person, he's quick to repeat the fact that he doesn't like them)), and you have Ash, a gal who believes that humanity was alone, in their fight with the reapers, and that the Council was simply siccing them on the problem, rather than actually attempt to gather together and deal with it.
Shep understand where she's coming from, but tries to show her his way of viewing it. But future events take a toll on Shepard, and in the end, he starts pushing her away.
It's probably explained better in the fic I wrote about it, but it's one reason why I like that romance path. Makes Shepard make more sense when he says "Ash is an incredible woman. I just wish we could have spent more time together."
You know, I'd like to get some of my own high quality pictures. Afraid the equipment I got doesn't support it, much.
But hey, if you're sending, I'm recieving. I have enough space to use all of that.
All that remains is finding a song. I was gonna use the one Uccisore had linked me too, but I couldn't find it. I mean, aside from seeing on YouTube, that is.

If you're just recording gameplay for a video that's not "look at how awesome my Vanguard is at being awesome," then I'd just as well stick to Normal difficulty. All the powers and missions are designed with Normal difficulty in mind. Makes Jack's Shockwave a truly lethal powerhouse from the get-go.
