I liked the unused theme, but it wouldn't have worked in the design of the game as it was. You can hear the theme being used at the very start of Jack's prison break, sped up.

Also, I'd like to get Jack fan's thoughts on the other romances. Do most Jack fans only really enjoy Jack's romance? Or do some of you also like the Tali/Miranda(I'm especially interested in what people think about her)/Ashley/Liara romances as well?

I will admit, all my male Shepards romance Jack. I just don't have any interest in romancing anyone else. Tali is like a little sister to Shepard, so romancing her feels incestuous imo. As for Miranda, she's kind of a b*tch. Sure Jack is a b*tch to a lot of people, but Miranda acts all superior, like she's in charge, which is the worst kind of b*tchiness. And I really don't like how she defends Cerberus and all the terrible things they've done.

As for the ME1 romances; I liked Ashley's romance. I liked her conversations, and she is tough and independent which I like. I was turned off by Liara's utter fascination with Shepard, I find it creepy.

I'm not really a fan of any of the male LI's romances. Garrus' would easily take the cake if it had more than two conversations. Thane's is ok. It is a little strange since he's still getting over his wife's death. I like how Jacob asks Shepard about her problems, unlike every other romance. The main thing I don't like about Jacob's romance is how femShep fondles Jacob with her voice. Kaiden's is ok, I just wish he wasn't so professional. He needs to lighten up a bit, at least after talking to him a few times, same with Jacob.

Maybe that explains female Shepard with Jacob -- Kaidan kept it professional all the time, which is just no fun. So with her next slab of meat, she's determined to let him know she was all about the sex. That's right, female Shepard likes her renegade sex. So sad when Jack denied her.

Just popping in to say hello and that I like Jack. :) I haven’t played a male shep yet, but when I do I’ll romance Jack. :D (It’s a pity you can’t talk more in-depth to her when you’re female shep…she kinda got angry when I accidently hit on her….) I hate it though that people complain on how “****y” she is. Do they realize how much she went through? That as a child she was taught to kill and was drugged to fight? Abuse either breaks you or makes you angry at the world. I for one admire that Jack wasn’t broken.

But it's just so much easier to deny that trauma can have any effect on someone's character when one plays stone-faced bald spess mahreen Shepard!

When Jack sits down to think like Rodin's Thinker, what do you guys suppose Jack is thinking about?

Loved Jack's theme music. One of the most dynamic pieces on the soundtrack. Especially the fast parts.

Would you like a serious answer, or a silly answer?  Both?

Anyone can come up with a silly answer. So yes, I'd like to hear a serious answer.

Serious answer: Can there be a morally justifiable teleological suspension of the ethical, with regard to the protection and preservation of life?

Non-serious answer: A basket-full of kittens, or a basket-full of puppies?

I swear, the first question relates to Shepard and the Reapers.

Okay, apparently that wasn't a suitable question.

How about...

During her life, did Jack have the opportunity to fully develop her moral compass?  Does she think order is for chumps because she's never seen "good", or because she thinks that the abstract (unprofitable) notion is for chumps?

EDIT: Typos.

Probably both. Obviously throughout most of her life she's been surrounded by the worst the galaxy has to offer. Cults, prisons, gangs, and of course Teltin. So since she's hardly ever known kindness and civility, it would difficult for her to replicate it. And after being surrounded by so much greed and selfishness, she finds kindness and generousity completely pointless unless it benefits you somehow, so much so that she doesn't believe that literally anyone is genuinely nice.

"Should I smear the walls with her, or should I just airlock her? Or shoot her in the feet and let her bleed to death? Or play vuvuzela until her brain explodes?"

At the beginning, the best way to hiJACK the Normandy and go pirat. If loyal, trying to find an excuse not to hijack the Normandy right away and stay with Shep a bit longer. "Because it's funny / because there will be more loot / because I get to kill more people". If romanced, well... you know.

BTW bonus! Something I've found while googling for Rodin's Thinker pics:

Its the exact same for me.  I even did a ME2 playthrough intent on romancing someone OTHER then Jack for once, but failed. I just lost interest.

And I totally agree on the ME1 romance too. Ashley's romance isnt amazing or anything but I think its the best one too.

I forgot how scared and lost Jack sounds on her loyalty mission. Her toughness sounds so forced there. Ms. Taylor did a really good job. I hope that the detail in her acting was intentional, and not just me hearing what isn't there.

Off the top of my head, I'd say the best line she delivered was the "no" after Shepard says something along the lines of "you blame yourself for what happened to Murtock". The tone was perfect. This, for me, is probably tied with the asari merchant asking herself where she's going to go next, "omega?" with that total disgust.

Gonna go ahead and chime in.
I think the best line she gave is "SERIOUSLY!?"
She says it whenever you consider saving the Collector base for Cerberus.

Of course, there are a whole lot of other "best lines" I think she had. That's just the first one that came to mind.

Hey, everybody - write a poem about your favourite bald chick.

I'll start you off:

"John and Jack lie in the bed
John rubs Jack's so-fuzzy head
Jack tries to kill John effen dead
but decides on endless love instead.

Shepard asks about her tats
"Oh, about my lost love, kills, scum and rats"
Then she tells him to fvck off,
he just laughs and then they boff.

With good ol' Grunt you must team her
with your mojo you will redeem her
but if you just nail her on the floor,
she won't be your love, not nevermore

So pay heed to this refrain
Jack can be your tattooed commando
and If her romance goes down the drain
you've at least got Garrus for your husbando."

Someone laughed at it once, so it must be good.

Slow week, Jake. The rhyming is great, and doesn't detract from the content. Bonus points for use of "husbando".

If you don't mind my asking, what happened to Intermezzo? It was getting really good.

Not easy to rhyme, y'know.  ;)

Thanks.   Well, I didn't think anyone (outside of you and Goat) was reading it, due to the near-total lack of feedback (I thank you and Goat for yours, however.  Much appreciated.), coupled with the massive wave of indifference that greeted each installment.

*Shrug*  C'est la vie, non?

It's not dead, just getting a change of venue.  I'm (after some minor revision) going to upload it to FanFiction.net - the same place Urdaniel posts, so hopefully,  you and Goat (I assume Goat was still reading it) can continue there.

Gonna be lotsa action and upcoming derring-do, and all who deserve it getting their just desserts.

Possibly some entirely gratutious full-frontal nudity.

I appreciate your interest.  Thank you.    :)
