Is that Miranda crushed by a fallen beam?

Aye. Sorry, I didn't mean for it to get resized. It was a lot easier to see in the full resolution version.

@ Mondo47: Cool. Thanks for the dialogue transcript. I could never get that on my playthroughs, the options were always greyed out for me even after I maxed out one of meters.

So you know, that was Mondo's own version of that scene, not a word-for-word transcript. The general idea, yes, but Mondo's was much more detailed.

In case anyone here's looking for a laugh.

Here's Shepard. Being a hypocrite.

I know I shouldn't bring it up, since It's kind of talking about Legion, too, but....

You guys ever stop to think that Jack might've just been giving her opinion about what she'd want, if she were in the heretics's decision? I mean, sure, rewriting synthetics could be the equivalent to brainwashing an organic, but, despite Shepard's dialogue, I don't really think Jack was trying to say doing that -- rewriting the heretics -- was somewhat wrong. Only that, if she were in their shoes, would "Rather you'd blow my head off. Let me die as me."

...Then again, saying that could be interpreted as saying it's wrong, too.

Forgive me. Just woke up.Image IPB

I think this as well.

Artistically speaking, it does have some flaws, but I like the concept.

Interesting how the polls you made turned out, Mondo. I did suspect much of what happened.

@ MHRazer: Ah...OK. Still, I couldn't unlock those in-game. Still good to know the general gist of it.

I modded a heavy weapon (grenade launcher) on her once... she kept shooting me and Miranda with it.  I hate to think what she would do with the cain.

True, there were a lot of results that I had pretty much guessed beforehand, but there were a few surprises in there I'd never have thought I'd have seen.

Jack though going down better than any other female character with the female audience... I did call that :D

Oh, I forgot about those polls. And the one I created. Huh, I should do some statistics or something.

ETA: The one about this thread was 29 in favor of keeping it and 10 in favor of creating a new one. I've never been a fan of the lengthy OPs. My one for Grunt is about as detailed as I ever want them to get. So cool that I'm not the only one who feels that way.

I just finished Jack's loyalty mission.  I have a little glitch every time I do that mission.  Whenever the squad first encounters the varren in the intial combat scene, both squad members either run, or spawn back around the corner where we came from.  After I kill the varren, they'll come running back around the corner to where Shepard is.

I did Aresh's scene different than I have any time in the past.  You have 4 dialog choices with Aresh.  Paragon/Renegade persuasion, "Kill him", and "Leave him alone".  I chose the middle right option on the dialog wheel (Leave him alone).  It's the only option that I haven't chosen before.  I didn't use the paragon interrupt.

This is the dialog:

Shepard:  Killing him won't help you, or my mission.  Stand down.

JackIt will help me.

Shepard:  I gave you an order!

Jack:  *sounds like she is gritting her teeth* This is my call!  Don't tell me how to deal with my past!
*pause*
*Jack kills Aresh* Nobody tells me what to do, Shepard.

She is one bad b*tch.  Most would probably agree that leaving Aresh at Pragia alive, is the best course of action for Jack.  However, that scene with that particular dialog, is better than the other dialog choices, imo.  It may not necessarily be better for the Jack character, but I think it's the best sounding dialog between them.

The non-alignment-determined responses make him seem almost apathetic.

There is a paragon interrupt with that option, but I had done that before. The interrupt comes up as she is saying "This is my call! Don't tell me how to deal with my past!"

Actually, I  think the best course of action for Jack in that situation, is for Shepard to go renegade in that scene.;)  Because afterwards, she tells you that she feels good.  So, Jack feeling good is a step in the right direction.  She's on her way to recovery.

Does she even go against Shepard's orders, if you choose the renegade option that isn't red?

Cause that would mean she'd let Aresh live, I think. If you don't use the renegade interrupt.

Well, just rescued Jack yet again so I'll have to give that line a run through - this Shep is a bit more Renegade than most I've imported (truth be told, he's a jackass).

Just to wring the very last drop of it out of my system, I've figured out the one thing about Miranda that gets up my nose the most: the way she gives her head that disappointed little shake every time you disagree with her; like you're a naughty puppy that just pissed on the rug... helloooo, I'm Commander Shepard... <_<

If you choose "kill him", she let's him go, unless you use the renegade interrupt.  She has a wicked smile on her face whenever she tells you "that felt good".

The Shep that I used to get that dialog that I posted earlier, is a new Shepard.  I download a ME2 save file, then I changed his name and ME1 flags and values with the save editor.  Then I imported him as a NG+.  He's gonna be my most diabolical of my renegades.

I've said this before, but I remember my first playthrough whenever I talked to her on Cerberus station, where you meet TIM for the first time.  She was a smart ass, and that has stuck with me ever since.  She's like that throughout a good portion of the game.  "Shepard, you need someone who can command loyalty through experience".  STFU.:D

Well, I think I'm done with it now - I'll stop saying hurtful things about Miranda. She turns into a nice enough person eventually, but to begin with, she's a total b*tch.

Kinda like Jack, in yet another respect :D

So why is it so rare that Jackolytes and Miridians get on? I mean, the amount the characters have in common when you read between the lines? You'd think that aside from appearance and the fact one is a pottymouth and the other isn't, they're not poles apart (both made into things they never asked to be, both lacking good parental influence, both have made morally difficult lifestyle choices, both are ferociously independent and strong, both are smart and resourceful - in different ways, granted - and both are assertive yet mask their inner feelings)...

So why do we broadside each other? Can't just be one has too much ink and the other one wears a wh*re suit ;)

Well Mondo.... I think they need to make a character in ME 3 that has too much ink and wears a wh*re suit. That would by my kind of girl.
