I personally assumed that all biotics-capable classes use L5s and its variant, since it's the newest, balancing safety with power, and since Cerberus spared no expense with Shepard. As I understand it, there are other implants that are more powerful, but they can cause adverse side-effects.

With Jack, the scientists were willing to use any and all routes to produce incredible biotic powers in Jack, short of killing her.  This probably includes the more dangerous implants, as well as dangerous surgical procedures.  She's likely the most powerful human biotic, but at what cost, of course.

Ok...I want to get into this convo, but first..

I actually managed to get a hold of a working printer, and scanned the picture I was working on. This is me first time drawing a character that wasn't mine, so bare with me.

That's pretty good, SN. Her neck looks a little thick. It makes her look buff. Jack has some muscles, but nothing too pronounced.

I'm tired.  I'm going to bed.  Looking forward to the DLC, tomorrow.

That would be an interesting conversation.  It'd be a logical one, but also an emotional one.  She'd really have to trust Shepard, in order to hear out his argument for why she should be put under the knife again.

Exactly. I can think of a few scenarios that would make the conversation even more interesting (like there being more than two people to think about... yes, I mean you, Miranda Shepard ;) ), but it would make for one hell of a scene, and a potential make-or-break moment... it is one hell of an ask - even if Jack was maybe already starting to suffer various side effects, a conversation that goes "Oh, by the way, the only way to stop all this is to let some surgeons open you up all over again" is going to go down like the proverbial lead zeppelin. Even if she is all dere-dere for Shepard.

And since she keeps popping into my talkpoints here, I'll just restate for the record that I still don't think Jack is plumbed-up for kids anymore. It's a cute hypothetical, though ^_^

He'd have to reassure her, that the doctors are trustworthy, that he'll be right there when she goes under, that he'll be watching the surgery the entire time, and that he'll be right there when she comes back up.  She'd probably want him to have someone else with him, watching, someone trustworthy, someone who knows what the doctors are doing at all times during the surgery, someone like Mordin, Dr. Chakwas, or someone he trusts from the Ascension Program.  She might want to meet that person, if she's not acquainted with them.

As for Jack lacking the plumbing necessary for kids - we can all appreciate the irony of Jack's child being named Miranda, if it was a proper test-tube baby.

Oh, even better! Whenever Mario, I mean Jack has to put on a different costume to get a new power, Jack says something like "No way. I ain't wearin' that sh*t." and you have to hand over to playing as Luigi. I mean Miranda. Dressed in a flying bee costume. Oh, the humiliation... :kissing:

I haven't gotten around to reading all the posts I missed in this thread.

But I heard that Liara says something about Jack if you romanced both. It's not generic either, it's Jack specific. And Liara ain't happy. Also, one or more other NPCs refer/acknowledge to Jack either way.
