I was gonna come in here, and say something about the DLC, but...Seeing as it's not working for most...I'm gonna keep my mouth shut. Out of respect.

Indeed. I'd rather not know what I'm missing. It's bad enough having to listen to all the Xboxers crow about how they can play it and we PC-ers cannot.
Bite me, happy console users. <_<

I'll speak on it when everyone's had the experience. That is all.

I'm eagerly waiting to play it. This makes me happy.Jackal904 wrote...
Well I just beat it, and I'm not going to say anything specific, but holy. ****ing. ****. Lets just say this thread will be on fire once everyone here finishes LotSB.
Also, coming to the thread and finding a new Epantiras drawing is as good as it gets. Jack looks pissed

Sorry to make PC people feel worse, but damn, the amount of info revealed about everything in LotSB, not just about Jack, is overwhelming.
That's good! Nothing like a good lore-bomb to revive interest in the game.

People is awful powerful mad about LotSB.
If the rage over a DLC is this strident, can you imagine what it'd be like...
Mass Effect 3 has been released!
*Brass bands, tickertape, squees heard round the world...*
Official Bioware Press Release:
"We would like to thank our fans for their loyalty over the years. As a reward, Mass Effect 3 has been released exclusively for consoles.
Thank you Bungie for the suggestion."
Let's just use our operant creative powers and picture it...
I can smell the smoke already.

Well, there are far fewer things to plan for, when develping solely for consoles. PCs bring compatibility problems. I wonder if I would mind, if Bioware intends to make ME3 less of an RPG.
I'm really interested about what we learn about Jack. I know what we learn, but not the specifics of what we learn.

I would mind. I'm not shelling out 400 bucks for a console to play a single game. I've never gotten the hang of those controllers for one thing, as lame as that might sound.
I like the ease of modding a game on the PC. I use my PC for a lot more than gaming, but I've spent considerable time and money in getting this thing capable of playing high-end games and playing them well.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not bashing consoles. I simply don't want one.

Same. Let's hope we can play it someday. Hopefully before the sh!theads post spoilers everywhere and ruin it for the rest of us.
I just hope any new revelations doesn't completely torpedo a lot of the fan fiction out there.

Not mine. I'm good.
You know, there's always the possibility of some new guy -- or someone who doesn't really care -- coming into this particular thread and spoiling it. Here's hoping it's slim to none.

Well, provided Jack doesn't die, not much can torpedo too many fanfics too badly. They could say (and this is off the top of my head - it if plays out like this, I'm calling coincidence) that Jack has maybe five years to live before her brain ends up like poached eggs. That's five years a miraculous cure can be found in - remember the lesson of all comicbooks: how many supervillains and superheroes stay dead? I think I've only mentioned Ash in my 'serious' fics, so if they pull a Dumbledore on us, I won't be holed below the waterline at least. And I don't think that's likely considering the character shield they've given the ME1 love interests, soooooo...
We're writing fics in infinate universes - nothing can stop me writing about cute little Miranda Shepard, f'rinstance. No harm done. No harm can really be done, either. Except a little bruising to the emotions, maybe.

Actually, this is a spoiler. It actually spoils a really feck'n lot of it.
At least for me.
Think I'll call it a night before I start actually getting p!ssed off.

Maybe. I'm not worried overmuch about the details. It's just you have a specific idea and then it gets completely contradicted. Annoying.
Ah, well - that's why there are rewrites.
