It's good they finally let me tell Liara just to be friends. Although I did kiss her after the end boss.

Though, I didn't like the emo letter Jack sent. It made me think less of her

Well, having played it, I have to say, kickass DLC.  Best yet, by far.  :D  Those who have not played it will like it a lot.  Those who romanced Liara will like it, probably a helluva lot.

Avoiding spoilers, hopefully:

Jack's name?

I wouldn't worry about that.   :bandit:

I don't think fan fictioners need worry about too much her past being all that flummoxed, nice as the info is.

Now I just need to play it a few more times to milk it for nuance.

Oy.  Sucka for punishment.

Alos, apologies for snippiness to anyone to whom I was snippy.

Great DLC. I like the post-boss dossier information.

-edit. Jack's internet history was amusing, particularly.

-edit. Going through the rest of these dossiers...fantastic touch from Bioware.

-edit. Jack's surveillance vid is...'acrobatic'.

-edit. Lurking, quite casually, in the background...

I love the lines Shepard has when Liara ask him about Jack.

Forget Liara, I still love Jack.
I romanced Liara in the first game really just out of curiosity, didnt really care much for her character. She got a lot better in this dlc but I still couldn't turn my back on Jack because lets face it shes been through enough emotional turmoil already:crying: plus I love her character. So yeah, I told Liara I just wanted to be friends.

Full marks to Bioware though, seriously, for providing a lot of background details with respect to the team members (satisfying fan craving, and all that). A wealth of talking points for Jack have opened up... Not too surprising that a lot of speculation about her history and personality (artistic side, for instance) was bang on.

I've come to the pretty solid conclusion that her last name is not "Nought." In math and physics, "sub-nought" is used to show the initial condition of a variable. The symbol for "nought" is a zero. I think she just cleverly gave herself that last name for the poetry website.

Definition of "nought"

And her first name might not actually be Jacqueline. She may have just used that name to seem more normal to the community on that website, just like she did by making up a legit-sounding last name.

I just finished the DLC.  Are we discussing it now, or are we waiting on everyone to finish?

Well, I just finished it with my canon Femme-Shep. I assume we're good to talk since we're all talking about poetry already? :D

If not, I'll just say that it didn't really ruin anything for us writers, nor did it really tell us all that much in regards to Jack. What it did show though is that once again Cerberus are a bag of bastards, and gave us some neat things to think about when we ponder Jack's future and who Jack is inside, as opposed to who she might have been once upon a time or if life had played out a little differently.

It is nice to know though that Jack is worth a lot, financially-speaking ;)

Oh, and I had a big "Awwwww!" for Miranda :crying: Never thought I'd see the day... Grunt's dossier just made me want to go cuddle him and pinch his cheeks even more! Adorable!

Regarding Jack's poetry - I know it might be harsh (and condescending) to say, but, it was nice to read poetry of that kind, because it was written by someone who has proper reason to write it, as opposed to someone who wrote it only because their Mom wouldn't let them borrow the minivan.

I'd go and talk to the Miranda thread at this point, but uh... after last time (and the fact they seem to be autocannibalising over there at the moment)... no ta.

I am, though, so happy that I dreamed up little Miranda Shepard. I know, it's totally out-of-my-head silliness, but it seems even nicer though now ^_^

I think a Jack playing poker story is now required when I have a free moment :D Time to roll out my canon Male-Shep and give Liara the bad news...

What did you think of the video of Jack's acrobatic biotic kickassery, Mondo?
